Pickerington post office has notified companies that my address has changed. I have not moved.

Every trip to this post office is a guaranteed waste of time. The staff move like they're being paid by the hour to do absolutely nothing, and somehow still manage to get everything wrong. Expect blank stares, lost packages, and the energy of people who gave up a long time ago. If you value your sanity, drive literally anywhere else. read more

I came in here for a passport photo and mailing in a new passport application. Jenny was extremely helpful, professional, and went above and beyond with her information and keeping my private information confidential. I only saw her have positive interactions with all the patrons she had dealings with. read more

There should be a 0 star option. Sent something certified mail on 2/8, they recieved on 2/12. It was never picked up so I called at the end of February asking when they would return it, they said they were doing it that day. Never recieved it, called back on 3/6, was told that I needed to wait, then when I told them I had clearly waited LONGER than the general alloted time for return they apologized and said my mail was still there and it was never sent back like they had said and that they were returning it that day. It's 3/13 and still have not recieved it, I'm in NC and it does not take THAT long to recieve mail from OH. *update 3/21* Still have not recieved it and now it's been saying in transit for days so they either lost it or didn't do their jobs, either way, this is certified mail that I PAID for to be returned to me. read more

Terrible customer service for a package thats been in transit for the last 25 days. This package was coming from the social security office a county over and still has not been delivered. I have had three cases open for this particular package and they keep getting resolved with no resolution. Such a terrible system that is unnecessarily taking tax payer money to stay funded. Time to do away with this archaic system of delivering mail. As a pro tip: spend a bit more money and go with UPS or FEDEX, you are guaranteed it will arrive on time or your money back. I can't even open a claim on this certified piece of mail since it's not a package - nonsense. read more

3:55 pm on Friday, November 1st, 2019. I didn't catch the two ladies first names, but this time round at this post office, I couldn't have been treated more nicely! Both the ladies were so polite and efficient, I wish I could clone them and put them in every po I've been in central Ohio! Seriously, a intense breath of fresh air! We've lived in Pickerington for over a decade. Honestly we have had an amazing postman and little to no issues over the years. Every time I come in they are always super helpful and walk me through any questions or concerns I have mailing out my packages. Through the pandemic the have made me appreciate them even more! read more

*** long post but I need to get this off my chest*** Very terrible service. This last visit takes the cake- My son and I had a passport appointment at 1230, I needed a renewal and my son needed a new passport. I picked up up the paperwork the week before on my last visit and they run out of the official forms, so they gave me copies ( no problem) the lady who gave me the paperwork said if I had any questions let her know- but I didn't anticipate running into anything. The day of the appointment- I had my son start filling out his paperwork ( he's 18) he started using blue ink ( the form states black ink only) and I didn't complete mine as I believed I was given the wrong paperwork- so I just arrived 15 min prior to our appointment so I could ask questions and get other forms if need be. As soon as we arrived Ms. D had a nasty attitude and immediately asked us what we were there for- I told her we have passport appointments and she then asked if the paperwork was complete- I told her no, and started to explain why and she immediately cut me off stating I needed to reschedule. At this point we were the only ones in there besides the two customers that were in front of us. As I attempted to explain why the forms were not complete yet, hence the reason we showed up early, she began getting loud and even more rude. We eventually got up to the front desk and I showed her the papers and explained I thought I might have the wrong form, she immediately pointed out that my sons document was in the wrong ink and kept yelling that we needed to reschedule. I protested because we hadn't even gotten to the appointment time yet- and I advised her if we were given new forms, we could step aside and correct everything and still be within our appointment time- she refused and Then went to go get another lady who was equally crazy. She came out prepared to be dismissive, showing no grace or professionalism. Ms. D was helping other customers but was still yelling that We needed to reschedule, because it's her lunch time anyway. While all of that was happening I was still trying to fill out the form and not waste anymore time- and I finished one but then they looked it over there were 3 errors, one being I used parentheses which she said was not legal on a government form, and the other two errors were I misspelled something so I crossed it out and because I used an x instead of a single line, They couldn't use the form and I needed to reschedule. At this point I knew they were trying to do everything possible to get us out of there, but I remained calm and reasonable and since there was a lot of time already wasted, I told them I would forfeit my passport appointment, just take care of my sons. We were off to the side at this point and other passport customers were being helped within our appointment time. I properly had my sons form filled out and after a while I asked Ms. D if she was still going to be able to help us and she said "is the form completed" I responded, yes I finished it 10 minutes ago ( while she was helping other customers- still within our appointment time) she then started yelling again and told me it was a yes or no question and proceeded to tell me I'm a trouble maker and every time I come in there I start problems ( she must have me confused with someone else) she then accused me of a P.O. Box issue ( I haven't had a box in almost 2 years) and just kept projecting and showing her character as the office was now filled with a ton of customers. I asked her not to talk to me like that- I'm an adult and she was talking to me like a dog, and she stated " I'm not the one to be played with" very aggressive and Taunting. I continued to keep my composure because I needed to get my son his passport- so I didn't return the energy like I wanted to- she grudgingly processed my sons passport, and we left immediately. Frustrated: They have 1 job! Can the mail just be picked up timely and delivered to its intended destination timely? That's all!

Jen went above and beyond with service last Friday. She was helpful from the minute we stepped in the office and appeared to be training someone else with passport services. It was busy but they were able to help a line of customers quickly. I highly recommend this post office. Jen, thank you again for being so helpful! read more

What is up with this Post Office. Some days we do not get mail at all. I have received notices from shippers that the post office could not deliver a package. The post office claim was that at a given time as posted they could not deliver a package. No obstruction here only a wet sidewalk. This has happened twice in the last month. We will quit using the post office for anything that we can or in the past we have had to get a PO box from another Post Office. The whole system has turned into a mess and is unreliable to say the best. Oh well, it's off to the Post Office to get my mail. read more

All we need is another holiday and guess what? No mail now for three days! Excellent job the people in management in the Pickerington post office are doing in getting the mail out!!! My husband is a retired postmaster and I was a rural carrier. What is going on?? Obviously there is no accountability for anyone in this office. I know better than to try to mail anything out. That for sure will be the day there is no delivery. Sometimes it's 8&9 pm when they go, if they go. Sad ..... Worst service ever! read more

This has to be the worst PO in the U.S. Their Internet was down yesterday and today, so you would think they might have extra counter help - NOPE. I am standing in line with others and one person is at the counter. A second person (who works the counter) walks in, looks at the line, turns around and leaves. Terrible service I've sent 3 packages to AT&T. Each package sat at the pickerington post office on average 7-10 days before they ship it, which has cost me charges on my AT&T bill. In the past ten years I have lived in Pickerington, I have only had to interact with the post office twice. Unfortunately, they were both this year. Recently, I experienced terrible service. I subscribed to a monthly package from a company called Nerd Block (that I DO recommend) and in the past few months, the post office has left it on my door step no problem. That was not the case this time. I got a notification on the tracking site that it was considered "undeliverable: notification left as to where to pick it up" and yet I never received any notice. This was odd and I hadn't received it in a week or any word, so I called the post office and they said it was being shipped back to Canada and was currently in Chicago. I was incredibly annoyed and after a five minute conversation regarding the package with the woman on the other end, she said she would get back to me and that it was their mistake. Three days later, I hear nothing and go to call them again. I am unsure if it was the same woman or not, but she didn't let me finish my statement before asking (rather rudely) for the tracking number and said it was going to be shipped back to Canada and they would re-send it. I asked when I could expect the package and they said they didn't know, but they would re-imburse me for the postage. A nice gesture, but rather like putting a band-aid on a deep wound. I should have received my package weeks ago, but have not yet. I canceled my subscription just so I wouldn't go through this again in a month. It's no wonder why the USPS is going downhill when they have poor customer service and do not care about their customers. Be prepared for a lot of difficulties. read more

The older (foreign) guy normally working the window has been repeatedly rude and condescending to both me and my daughter. Next time I'm liable to go over the counter and brain him. USPS is losing $1M a day and they have this dufess working the window?? With his people skills, he should be watering the lawn. I'm going with UPS from here out. read more

The USPS office on hiss road is 5 STAR with friendly and helpful staff! However, whoever is delivering mail to Fox Glen West should not be there! I have received two "delivery attempt" slips in my mailbox during times when there have been multiple people home to sign for the packages. If you're going to be too lazy to get out of your truck and take the packages up to the door, find a new line of work PLEASE! Very disappointed as one of the items was perishable. I ended up going to the USPS office myself to pick them up instead, and like I said the staff there was very kind. PLEASE ensure your mobile USPS workers are doing their job correctly! I went to the post office today to deliver a couple of packages. I was so impressed by Sandy that I felt I needed to let everyone know! She was the only one working at the desk and a group of people walked in at the same time. She very patiently, but urgently, handled each request and still made time to make some pleasant conversation with me while still taking care of business efficiently. I really appreciate that! I received notification on the USPS app "informed delivery" that a package was attempted to be delivered on Aug 11th and that I needed to reschedule delivery or pick it up at the post office. I mistakingly choose to pick it up. While explaining my problem to the very nice clerk who was helping me another older lady at the counter kept interrupting and giving advise. Long story short they could not locate my package. Then the lady who was not helping me began to explain all the reasons that it was my fault not the USPS or the carrier. She closed with "their was only one perfect person, Jesus Christ and he is no longer with us". I found her to be rude and offensive and did not appreciate the lecture from her in a room full of customers. It will be hard for me to ever return to this location. Hopefully this "know-it-all" will be under control soon. Management needs to address her presentation and delivery. read more
