**Review of Chalk Lines and Vines Event**…read more Welcoming back events in a big way. First up at the Fairgrounds: Chalk Lines and Vines. The inaugural event was a little pricy ($35/ticket) for sampling (only 13 wineries were on hand). Attendees were treated to a tote and souvenir glass, live music and the inevitable wrath of mother nature. Thankfully the event hall was open for all to escape from the lightening and rainstorm. Only one winery was offering buy more save more discounts. Two food truck vendors were on hand and the talent of some amazing chalk artists displaying their creations. It was still a nice time to be outdoors, with humans and without masks. Yay!!! The fairgrounds are well maintained and the security personnel available and accommodating (we turned in a ladies handbag so hopefully she returned to claim it!) If Arapahoe County were to revisit the event next year, my only suggestion would be to have more wineries on hand. Colorado does have good grapes and The Denver area is littered with fabulous wine producers (Missing out on Bigsby's, Purgatory, Grande River, just to name a few.)

After the police cleared the scene, they left so much debris/glass/nails/wood etc all over the property and sidewalk. and we couldn't for the life of us find someone to help with clean up. We called police, state dept, crime scene clean up crews, the fire department, etc and no one could help... Enter Brandon! A real life hero. He called back immediately and within 20 minutes was out to our property to assess the situation and cleaned everything within 2 hours. Not only that, but he called in a friend from the State to fix the stop sign which had been taken down by the driver as well (which gosh, who knows how long that would've taken otherwise). This company did an inspection on the home I was selling. The inspector did damage to the siding up…read moreon the top level and on the chimney. He pulled siding off the house in two different places. Once as an accident I could understand but to do it again tells me he doesn't really care. After getting the report he said that the windows didn't open and needed to be replaced, but really we had just painted them. He was not strong enough to open a painted window but hulked out on the siding. On top of that I had given him my number to let us know when he would be done. He could have sent a text and said he damaged the house but didn't. Then a radon test was being done and he came back two days later, he could have said something then but didn't again.
