If I could give -100 stars I would! I've found my mail on the ground, a lot of mis-delivered mail and today, my shipment was supposed to be delivered. I checked the tracking at 6pm and said it was out for delivery by the local post office. At 8pm it said my package was delivered at 4:24pm. I've checked the mailbox at 5pm, 6:30pm and 8pm and NO PACKAGE. No wonder why the post office is going under. read more

The TP Post Office is fantastic! Even if the line looks long, don't worry! It moves fast because they usually have 3-4 windows open. All the clerks are efficient and friendly. I like the automated machine in the lobby because it is open 24/7. read more

I had an issue with a photo album that I mailed to a family member in Texas as after 17 days, they never received it. I had lost the tracking number so I called the TP USPS office for help. Carol was incredibly polite and was able to locate the tracking number for me by searching through records for that day. I truly appreciate that she went the extra mile for me as I was very concerned about what happened. Wish I could give a NEGATIVE 5 stars!!!! SOMETHING has happened I used to LOVE my local post office... I SEND MANY MILITARY care packages to my son and several others. I believe the employees here hate the military? IDEK if thats possible..its so random I KNOW but its either that or they hate their own lives? INCREDIBLY rude INCLUDING THE MALE employee! Without saying anything I had my daughter and my neighbor send a couple of packages for me a few times and they both came back saying WOW...I had the worst experience and the rudest people wait on my at the TPPO! Then again yesterday I was in a pinch and had to send my daughter (17) to send a package (oversees deployment birthday package) she came home so upset! I could tell she had been crying! She is not usually sensitive but she said they made her feel so stupid about filling out the form and were so rude it was like she was doing a bad thing by sending a package and asked if there were other ways we could send like FEDEX or UPS? I said I wasn't sure but...you can bet your ass I'll be looking into this! read more

I did a change of address in July, 2017 (a month before I moved) to be effective a week before I moved. I received an e-mail confirmation of my change of address. I moved 3 weeks ago and my mail is still NOT being forwarded. When you call they acknowledge that they have the change of address, but no one knows why it's not being forwarded. REALLY!!! read more

When I first moved here, I got a nasty letter telling me to put my name on the mail box, so I did. Been here for almost two years, and today a package didn't get delivered because the mail lady claimed my name wasn't on my box. Went out to double check and it still was visibly on there. Not sure what her problem is but I've had nothing but issues with her. Also when I've gone to the post office to try and mail something, they were nothing but rude. They really need to take a look at their employees. I go out of my way to go to either Mokena or Frankfort post offices, because of not wanting to deal with their rudeness. read more

So I mailed my thank you cards out on November 16, 2011 and actually gave them to the lady behind the desk! It is now Dec. 7 and I have had them returned to me 3 times!! They say my addresses do not exist, but these our the same addresses I sent my wedding invitations too!! They are awful!!! read more

Super tired of being scoffed at and having eyes rolled at me every time I ask a question about anything at the Tinley Park USPS. Yesterday, it was shipping to Italy and how to fill out a customs form. The short, gray and curly-haired lady with glasses behind the front desk is absolutely the most demeaning person to deal with. She laughs at my questions, sent me to the back of the line 3 times to change singular numbers and letters on the customs form rather than allowing me to do so in a split second in front of her, and went out of her way to be as rude as she possibly could. I asked her to stop being rude to me and her demeanor changed entirely, but I had had enough and I left without anything accomplished. I'll be driving back to Mokena or Frankfort in order to avoid Tinley's employees from now on. I would understand if this was a one time deal, but the front desk ladies are consistently rude to me and, I've witnessed, other customers. Super unprofessional. read more

DON'T TRUST This Post office. TRACKING says OUT FOR DELIVERY and never gets Delivered NICE PEOPLE TO TALK TO BUT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR MY $52.00 package being STOLEN. YES Stolen. Went from Wheeling,West Virginia to this sorry Post Office and given to a carrier (out for delivery) but never arrives FIGURE IT OUT. The best part is not only am I out $52.00 plus $2.25 for shipping YET I don't even get offered a FREE Stamp! If they can't deliver mail then let someone else do the job better yet reimburse The people who pay them for a job THEY DON'T DO the cost of the package in FREE POSTAGE. Don't anybody tell me... should have bought INSURANCE. Why should ANY Insurance pay for STOLEN MAIL. When mail is given to a carrier and doesn't get to it's destination it's not LOST it was Stolen. These people need to be held accountable for NOT doing the jobs they are paid to do. Do you pay your mechanic an Insurance fee in case he scratches your fender while working on your Automobile? NO You go back confront him and demand it gets repaired yet USPS seems to think that we should pay an Insurance fee so they can steal OUR mail. I can understand paying a fee to protect against damages but Out for Delivery is not damages WHY ISN'T ANYONE HELD ACCOUNTABLE for their own actions in this world? BECAUSE WE HAVE INSURANCE? Insurance that condones THEFT? If it were insured I would be reimbursed............How is that morally correct? In other words it's insured so we can stomp on it, smash it, throw it off a bridge, run over it, kick it down the alley, don't deliver it, take it home and claim it for ourselves because IT'S INSURED You want to know what is wrong in this world TWO THINGS Lawyers and Insurance I'M SICK OF BOTH. Why aren't the Insurance carriers who are paying USPS claims for Damaged, Lost (yeah right) or Stolen (yeah I believe that) packages INVESTIGATING THESE PEOPLE? Because someone is getting rich from this USPS INSURANCE SCAM THEY HAVE GOING ON. It's a scam and I'll tell it to their face. Would you like to purchase insurance for that package?
