Went in the other day during normal non busy times and had a 45 minute wait. One or more employees just left or was taking there sweet time with a long line. I also had something sent over night and everytime it sent over night it takes 3 days to get to me and it's life threatening illness meds and yet they don't care about over night priority and what it cost to ship to me. This is the worst post office ever, they do not even deserve one star. I ordered a replacement key in the middle of May & still have not received it. I had also put a hold on my mail, which was supposed to last until I got my key. Because they've not supplied me with the key I ordered in the middle of May, & have only supplied me with lame excuses, just shoving it further under the carpet: in fact, that is most likely where they've lost my key: under the carpet, where they stand. I never imagined a post office could be so irresponsible for delivery of a mailbox key, etc.......!! They've therefore stolen my key, for they've not supplied me with the key I ordered & therefore they are holding my mail hostage & have stolen my mail. Hmmm? What next? THE worst post office in town. Every experience is a negative one. Every worker I have encountered is rude and has raised their voice at me or dismissed me when I ask a simple question. For reference my visits have been to either pick up or mail something out. They are always in a bad mood and couldn't care less about helping people. I've gone back-and-forth about this: I mean, come on, who reviews the post office? It's a place of uninteresting but necessary transient exchanges. It doesn't seem to matter where you are, the post office seems to evoke the exact same type of dread, offering a fairly consistent replicated experience. Rarely, if ever, is there any ambience. There's no music to soothe your nerves. Generally, no interesting images on the wall to help pass the boredom of standing in line for 20 to 30 minutes. Nothing to alleviate the pain of what is clearly obvious: no one, seemingly not even the employees, wants to be there. I mean, bring a book. But I do have some tips: 1. I'm not kidding, bring a book. You may be standing in line for 30 to 40 minutes. That is not a joke. 2. Prepackage your materials. You do not want to be spending nearly $10 on the box you could've bought at the nearby CVS for two bucks. 3. Arrive early and get in line. On Saturdays, shop opens at 10 AM. It is not uncommon to find people waiting in line at 9:45, or earlier. Don't scoff at them thinking: These people have nothing better to do with their lives. Of course they do! And these are the insightful ones. They know that it's better to stand in line for 15 minutes before opening than to show up at 10:30 only to realize you're going to be stressing out your hamstrings for the next 40 minutes. 4. Be sure to take care of all of your labeling, boxing and money before you reach the counter. Trust me, no one will be pleased whilst you fumble through your massive granny handbag, rifling around in search of a blank check to offer for payment (do people still take checks these days?). 5. If you arrive at the counter realizing you weren't as prepared as you had originally thought (it happens to us all), step aside and let the next person in line have a go. Don't be a douchebag. The employees are helpful, but your day is not necessarily going to be better (or worse) after you come here. Not really sure if I should rate the post office as A-OK or "as good as it gets", because I've always had the same standard experience at all post offices. I've never been here with a wait less than 15 minutes, but I think that's fair of all post offices. I'm grateful for their services and sometimes fail to appreciate that I can mail a box of candy across the country in less than 2 days for just $8. They're full service and have everything you need in terms of mailing and shipping supplies, priority mail boxes, gift cards, stamps, money orders, etc. Thanks for the good work, US Postal Service. read more

Not only are the workers extremely rude, they absolutely project the greatest disdain for their job that I have ever seen. This attitude is even reflected in how they do their jobs. The postman or postwoman can't seem to figure out which mailbox belongs to me even though the apartment number is written on every fricken package. Not only that, when the package is only slightly to big for the mailbox, they just leave a return slip instead of just going to my apartment which is about ten meters from the mailbox to drop off the package. Perhaps the government isn't paying them enough? Not sure; but as I've said before, if you want low quality work and the bare minimum level of efficiency, then frequent this place as often as you want. read more

I can't believe I would be writing a review about the USPS because all the USPS I have been to are extraordinary. I took 2 eBay return packages to this post office this month on the 9th and only for them to scan 1 of the packages and the second package disappeared into the air. I have been there twice and all they could tell me is that they scanned and shipped the package without going inside to search for it. None of the 2 employees ever go inside their mail storage to help me find it .I'm sure the package is there, or someone stole the package in their office. The ideal customer service is not even there to help. Now i can't get my $250 refund from eBay because the package is still sitting at this USPS Valencia location. Please make sure you let them scan all your return packages in your presence before you leave their office and don't make my mistake of thrusting them that your package is in a safe hand. read more

What's the purpose of coming here if you end up doing all the work? The guy working there makes you write To and from with everyone's address on the box instead of just printing out the label. I show up with a slip that has the recipients address on and he refused to type it in and print out the label prior to me writing everything on the box lmao!!! Safe to say I had a few sweet words up my sleeve for him, on top of that. In the parking lot there's a broken down Van with a bunch of druggies in it smoking up god knows what off aluminum foil. They legit parked right in the front, van is on bricks, and they got 3 guys in the back smoking shit. I ask the lady if she's called the cops on them yet and she wasn't even aware of what's going on. This place is a circus, the guy that helped me looked like he had just rolled outta bed, no pride no kindness this place sucks. Oh and shipping legit cost 15 cents less than UPS. I've never had a worse interaction in my life. I went to the counter and had a lady named Rosa. I told her "Hi I wanted to make a shipment to do Mexico", she literally said "yeah, and?" And I said "I wanted to know if you do make those shipments". Mind you I've never sent a package anywhere other than regular mail, nor do I know about the different services they offer or packages to choose from. She responded " yes". I asked her can you tell me what would be more convenient for me and she sighed and explained to me. But she told me "you don't even have your items packaged, so when your ready come back". She gave me so much anxiety I was shaking. Every back and forth interaction with her she answered you like you were the most stupid thing she ever saw and she didn't care to even hide it. I thought she probably just didn't like me, but I had smiled and talked to her kindly. Then when I tried to find a good envelope for what I was trying to ship, she got a customer that had broken English and he was trying his hardest, I overheard her say "what do you want me to do with this information sir you need 5 numbers!" Looking at him like he was stupid the man abruptly left. It broke my heart. I hate to say I was going to tell her that I hoped her day got better, and that if she hated her job she should probably findsomething that makes her happy, but I didn't want to stir the pot if I got back in line and got her again, and I didn't want her to be extra petty with my order. Luckily I got someone else named Aerious (I believe that's his name), and he gave me a regular service, at that point even a neutral service was excellent compared than getting that lady's service. This is where happiness goes to die. I've never had any of the workers be outright rude to me, but they aren't always that friendly either. My biggest gripe with this post office is it always seems to take forever. I spent about 30-35 minutes in line today to mail one package. Yes, the line was long, but it didn't help that they only had two employees working the counter. Unfortunately, this post office is closest to my office, so if I absolutely must use USPS, I come to this location on my lunch break so I can knock out an errand. But if you can somehow take care of your postal needs online or even at the self-service station at the Broadway/Rosemont location, I would recommend that instead. read more

I can't actually determine which location "delivers" our mail, so this will be a general review of USPS. Our mail is not getting picked up. We operate a business, and on occasion, must send small packages via Priority Mail. Not only do these packages not get picked up, but our regular outgoing mail is ignored as well. The outgoing mail is conspicuously marked, and in order to deliver mail, the outgoing mail has to be moved aside. So, bills, letters, invoices etc., all delayed because USPS doesn't 'feel' like doing their job. Unfortunately I cannot send all letters etc. via UPS, but would gladly do so since they actually care about customer service. Calling USPS is a useless proposition. I am given a local number to call, and upon calling, find it is a FAX machine. Emailing USPS is pointless. What gives USPS the right or authority to determine whether or not we are able to operate our business? read more

While standing in line I witnessed the most awful customer service by Mitsy. Little old man had wrong label on his envelope and she was very obviously upset at having to remove it to make another one. When she was done taking it off she threw at down toward him and kept ignoring him when he would speak to her. Customer in front of me and I expressed how rude she was for no reason when he just didn't understand and needed help. By looking at her you can tell she's a very miserable person whom I felt sorry for. She should be ashamed of herself treating a little old man like that. This post office is hit or miss:( Some days i get great service & some days i want to scream and stomp my feet out the door!) However it is what it is! The only reason I come to this location is for my PO Box and if I absolutely have to. I am always afraid of the service I will receive so I try to stay far far away from the customer service counter! Now for my PO Box service it is great, I get email notifications to notify me of new mail in the morning and they are always on point. I wish I could give this P.O. zero stars. They're horrible. My neighbors and I are always receiving each others' mail. This happens on a daily basis. I have rescheduled delivery of mail requiring a signature and in spite of having a confirmation number with a date of redelivery, it NEVER gets redelivered. Mail marked "fragile" or "DO NOT BEND" are crumbled and forced into my mail box. A lot of mail ruined by these incompetent and careless people. Filing complaints will get you no place. I go into the P.O. to talk to them and all I get told is "sorry, I don't know why that happened." Frustrated and infuriated. They just don't care. read more

There are time when the lines get a little long, but when you have people who are not prepared to have their packages delivered you can't really blame the Post Office. They do a good job at processing through all the people, they even have a someone in the lobby to help you get through the line quicker. Incompetent. I received a notice for a package to be picked up, it listed this post office, half an hour away from my home. I waited in the long slow line, with unparented chicitos running wild. Gave the lady my slip, she looked in back for a few minutes and said it wasn't here. She said they rented a delivery person from a different branch and he was using the wrong slips. And that I should pick up the package at the location closer to my house. Drive back there, wait in their long line, and they said this has been a problem recently, and the package is at a different location. So I am on post office number three. I am starting to see how the USPS can loose 25 million dollars a day. Hire incompetents with little motivation to be good workers and give them the government benefits with no motivation to go above and beyond. read more

I don't know for sure if this is the Post Office directly responsible for my issue but it's the closet to my house so my chances are good that I have the right place. I tried to call them for at least 30 minutes but the line was constantly busy (or was it off the hook?). In addition to what everyone else has talked about concerning the long wait times and uncaring customer service, I am also sick and tired about receiving damaged and opened mail. I have gotten a tax form put in my mailbox that was opened. And just today I received something concerning health insurance that was damaged and basically open exposing personal information to anyone. Not a week goes by that something in my daily delivery is opened. I recall once years ago when I lived on the east coast having the mailman knock on my door to apologize and explain that a piece of my mail had been mangled in the machinery at their sorting location. They didn't just toss it into the mailbox but came to me with an explanation. read more

Not only Does she has the nerve to tell me she has been working since 9am, but informs me it's also open on Saturdays, lady try 3am and still trying to haul ass to the Us post office and deal with your attitude.
