Worst place to go for a passport as a walk in ! Worker set at his desk for over an hr with no other appointments as walk ins came and went due to their frustration. We sat for over 2 hrs almost as if he was purposefully we signed in at 1005 he took appointments all while we sat there with much time in between! Appt where listed at 930 1030 1130&1145 clearly its only 15min increments ! Tried to speak to a supervisor Shelia and she was unavailable as well there's no help the post office worker I talk to in the front with ear gages was completely rude and explained that they take breaks in the middle of work they will stop what they are doing and take a break no matter the line I doubt the passport office had that many breaks back to back! read more

I come to this post office at least twice a week for my business and it's the best in tucson in terms of customer service and how fast we can get through the line. The facility is usually clean and more organized than others. There is lady named Lindy or Lydia and she is always super helpful and friendly. Anytime I need help with QR codes they are super fast and efficient. Prices are fair. Customer service is great people are friendly and very helpful. read more

I made an appointment online for my passport. The process was extremely fast. I found that if you make an appointment, they get you in and out, but if you show up without one, it takes much longer. Don't go without an appointment to get a passport with a photo after 4 PM. They won't be able to get you done since the processor is usually gone for thr day. read more

Do not come here for a passport if it's your first time applying. The staff here have a condensing air to the way they interact with you and if you have no idea what you're doing, good luck. Instructions for the entire application process are very unclear and nonexistent, especially here. In addition, I had to fill out my paperwork twice (error on the website with printing) and I received snarky comments about how I processed my information while here. The rudest and most condescending would be the woman of latin descent. theres times where they straight up dont want to help you if you have general mail. never experienced such rude service at a USPS. Worst post office in the US! No way to contact them by phone. 2 years ago, I tried to ship a valuable package internationally from this location. They did everything wrong, The desk jockey was a hipster with ear loops as big as dinner plates, and he "rewrote" my label making it totally incorrect and undeliverable. I had to get his supervisor to redo the label. The package was lost for a month, and no one here would help me track it. I finally found a number for the regional customer service manager. She was very nice and differential, but she did not solve the problem at all, and it took over 2 months to reach its destination, despite paying USPS a HUGE fee to ship it! Last week, I got a delivery failure sticker in my mail box claiming they tried to deliver a certified letter. They hadn't. Today, when I got online to track it, they claimed they made another attempt to deliver it today. They did not! These jerks can get away with anything without repercussions. I've had no issues or concerns with this location. I've used this post office for mailing products for small business as well as wedding invites and holiday cards. My mail has always reached the destination and no issues with returns. I've used other sites to prepay for my labels just to make it easier. All of my packages have never been returned or charged additional costs to the receiver or myself. This location can get busy but there are many options for quick drop off which include outside for mailing letters and inside for small boxes in a blue pull down bin. If you want to deal with human interaction you can wait in line and the people have always been helpful and fast. If you didn't prepay and print a label at home you can do so on their kiosk just inside the building. read more

This review is solely for the passport appointment. Do not book the first 30 to 60 minutes of the day. Went in 15 minutes before my schedule at 9:15am since I had a couple of questions to ask about the form. Guess what, they were still not open. They opened at 9:15am and there was a line mixed of both customer for passport appointments and regular USPS needs. By the time I got to the front, I was told off and advised my appointment was given to someone else - a walk-in customer without appointment was prioritized because he was in front of the line. Come to find out, there's supposed to be a sign in sheet: one for walks ins and a separate one for appointments. There's absolutely no signs anywhere to indicate that. In fact, the sign in sheets were not placed until 9:30am. I was made to write my name on the sign in sheet for walk-ins. I was advised in a very blunt and crass manner that there's no guarantee I will be seen even if I waited. I'm lucky my boss/work was understanding of the situation and I was able to wait until 12pm to get this over with. Yes, I was there for 3 hours. If you have the opportunity to get your passport somewhere else, I highly urge you to do so. Otherwise, good luck to everyone who has no other option but go here. read more

If I could skip giving one star and still write a review, I would. I came into the passport office initially on a weekday and was told to make an appointment and come back. The gentleman explained that the Passport office is open after hours to include the weekends. I made an appointment for Sunday at 1 pm, arrived 1 hour early, and no one from the Passport office ever showed. The entire time I waited close to 2 hours in the lobby, I never saw a security guard or any other employee. All phone numbers posted to reach someone if you have concerns are to automated systems that are only operated M-F 8-4:30. This is very unprofessional, and if appointments aren't honored, why to have that as an option on the site? read more

I like the fact that every time I come here I'm usually in and out very quickly even when there's a long line. The customer service reps that are behind the counter and the friendliest but they're very efficient and what they do. Now that my son is gone away for college I'm going to be paying this post office quite a few visits. The one price shipping boxes that they supply is the way that I go you can't be a large box for $17.90 coming from Arizona all the way to Alabama, and regardless of how heavy the box it's still the same price so I try to stuff it full as possible. read more

Came for Passport Services not shopping/mailing. Arrived at 1pm as requested on my appointment (which is 15 minutes ahead of appt as requested). Walked in, excited (passport time! Yay!)-- was immediate snapped at and finger pointed back out the door to sign in on a clipboard. Whoops! Ok... no way of knowing that, but nbd. So I signed in and came back in to sit and wait. Was again snapped out to go wait outside. There weren't any seats and my leg is injured, so I asked if I could sit on the bench. I got a big, impatient NO! And was pointed back out the door. I was honestly very put off by my first impression, but once they called me in for my turn, I felt like they were very friendly and helpful. It turns out the inside is really sensitive area because of the info being processed-- so they don't want anyone waiting in there-- but there's really not any kind of signage clarifying that, so all day they are having to redirect people out of the room. That would be exhausting for anyone! So for anyone planning to visit-- don't let the awkwardness of the check in process throw you. Once they are helping you, they are quite friendly! Maybe just hearing that ahead of time will save someone else from getting upset. read more

While this location seems to be slow every time I have gone, the service is awful. I am used to the friendly and courteous service of the Speedway location. The last time I was here, the line was long and the staff looked like they didn't want to be there. I had multiple packages and need delivery confirmation for all of them. Since they were for eBay I asked if he could write down the zip codes om the slips. (A request that has always been done without asking at all other locations). He looked at me liked I was nuts and said "no, but YOU can" . So i did go ahead and do it with asking him the zip codes.He was rude and was bothered when I was asking him for the zip codes when he would say them so fast I couldn't hear. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this location any time soon. read more

This isn't directed towards the postal services, it's towards the PASSPORT area. ABSOLUTE TRASH. I made an appointment for 1045, showed up at 1035, of course there was a line of people who DIDNT have an appointment. I didn't think anything of it considering I did have an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait...I was wrong. I don't know who this male worker was but he was middle aged, bald and EXTREMELY rude. Paid zero attention to people who had appointments and continued to help people who didn't have one, even when I pointed out that I had an appointment. After 45 minutes of waiting I went up to the counter and told them I've been waiting 45 minutes for an appointment i had made. A nice gentleman named Ray helped me out when he wasn't even the one originally doing the passports. 2 major recent experiences keep me from ever going back: 1 - mailed an item that sat on their shelves for a week (I know because I bought insurance and it provides you with accurate, up to the minute tracking) I called and spoke to a manager who helped me, but why would it sit there so long not being further processed? 2 - mailed an item and it arrived at the address MISSING!!! Torn open, contents gone...luckily, I purchased insurance and already received my compensation. I mail hundreds of items per year through the E. Grant location, and never have this problem. She was of no help and instead was yelling at me because I told her that another USPS sent me, she just said " first of all they are wrong they don't know how we work." This post office is great because of how late it's open. It also must not be a bad place to work becuase the same employees seem to have been there for years. It is however incredibley slow. Slower than other post offices. I don't even know how it happens. You go in, the line isn't long, you're hopeful. And then you're still there a really really long time. Maybe this is where people bring complicated shipments? The office is open till 8 though and the last pick up for mail is at 9pm, so I'm glad it's around. read more

I like this post office. It's convenient to get to centrally for me on the way to and from work. I've stopped by countless times to drop off mail in the drive-thru slots they offer, and there is lots of space and parking which makes it nice to get in and out of. It is a busy post office so I wind up waiting in line a lot, but I'm also old fashioned and never have stamps and mail everything there instead of printing out stuff from home. I have a PO Box here and only paid $43 for six months. What a deal! It's open 24 hours so I can get to my box anytime I need. The people who work here seem friendly and helpful to me each time. I've never been here to Cherrybell Post Office before because I live over by Catalina Highway, cut a long story short....I was mega impressed by the Lady who served me. Initially, I had questions about the following days Passport application interview I had. After my two questions the Lady asked me if I wanted to get it over with there and then so I said yes please. Everything is now done and dusted and my application is done without any hassle at all. Completely agree with reviewer in regards to package deliveries. Ontrac, FedEx, UPS, Prime, Sam Levitz, Mattress Firm and a few more NEVER have issues delivering my stuff. Yet this USPS has issues. I work a 9-5 job so trying to get to the post office during lunch is not the most ideal, however this post office does final pick up at 7pm which gives me the time to ship everything! BEWARE their passport service!! Particularly the photo taking- DO NOT USE. Took my kids (twins- elementary aged) in for routine passport renewals a few weeks ago. They took the passport photos directly (for a fee, of course). I Just received an email that my son's passport photo was REJECTED and his renewal application is held up- so we are now scrambling to get new photos elsewhere (which I will have to pay for AGAIN of course) and also to overnight the new photos (costing me more time and $). Ugh!!! Given they advertise that they are a passport office, one would think they would know what photos would be acceptable no? I got the photos taken there- directly at the office- for a reason! Ironic since I disagree with others' review stating that the Speedway branch has better service, when I think the opposite. I live closer to the branch on Speedway and I tend to avoid it since it always is packed no matter what hour I go. They also are not friendly, well not every member, but it is enough to not make me go there. It should be also mentioned that this branch closes at 7 p.m. Monday to Friday. For me, that is a tremendous plus! I normally get out of work around 4:30 and it's a drag to go during the last rush of people going to the post office. At this branch, I never have to wait too long and the staff is decent. Overall, I would definitely recommend this branch, especially since they have extended hours during the work week. read more

I go to this post office all the time. Pepper and Manny are friendly, helpful, and professional. I mail to overseas locations and they always know exactly what to do, which forms I need, etc. I never have to wait more than a few minutes. This is the best post office I've ever been to. read more
