Their enthusiasm in each class makes me want to get back to class as well. They take the time to get to know my daughter and help her with her struggles in TKD. By doing that, it helped her persevere not only at Tkd but also at school. Kudos to the instructors. You don't know it but YOU make a difference in my daughters life. Most of all, I love how everyone there is like family. Hanmi TKD recently started a completion training class which my daughter attends. She loves it. Not only does she practice her competition forms but also get out of her comfort zone and compete at tournaments. There, every single parent, student and instructors cheer on each other. i love how the instructors goes with them to all the completions. Not many schools does that. All in all, we love Hanmi TKD. my son who's 4 years old just started and I can't wait to get my youngest daughter ( 2 years old) in there as well.

The kids were eager to learn and listen to the activities during the party, which I think speaks to the staff connecting with the kids. There was a ton of variety for the kids to do. The studio is very clean. Plenty of room for the kids to eat snacks and cake as well as a viewing section for the parents who wanted to stay and watch. Our birthday girl loved the cutting of the cake with a saber. After cake, staff set up an ultimate obstacle course for the kids to get out even more energy! While this location is a bit far for us, I learned they are opening up a Concord location in June and I will definitely be signing up my girls for classes.

I am a single parent and I enrolled my son here just months after he had turned 7 (the school had just opened). He was enrolled at the other tkd school in Quincy but.... after my 3 month trial there I soon realized that place just didn't fit right with us. Sadly, the TKD Master/instructor that we signed up with had left that school some time after. We never saw him again. Dec 2012, my son and I, noticed the yellow awning that had a new tkd school that just opened. We walked in and was greeted by an instructor names Liem. He was a sweet man and gave us the package information and told us that we would be contacted soon to followup a meeting with the school manager. Her name was Leslie and she clearly went over costs and offered different packages and we finally figured out a number we were both happy. I signed him up for the black belt program and as of today my son is two ranks away after 2 years! Oh and I want to mention that in my meeting with Leslie, I learned that the Master that opened BEST TAEKWONDO is the one that left my son's previous school. So.... after learning that.... I was already sold. Master Seo also has a tkd school in korea so he often travels back and forth. It's always pleasure to learn when he is back. Along with Liem and Leslie, there are several other instructors, and they are all great. But i do want to mention specifically Kathy and Kent! These two have been very important to me in my son's tae Kwon do history and I must pay them the highest appreciation possible. Everyone makes this place stand out because not only is it a teaching institution but it also feels like a home.

However, our experience with the Kids Club has been extremely disappointing. About a year and a half ago, my son had an incident where a staff member teased him. He reacted in a playful but inappropriate way, and as a result, he was suspended for a week. At the time, he was also dealing with a serious medical condition that was affecting him neurologically, which we later came to understand may have influenced his behavior. Out of caution, he did not return to Kids Club after that incident. Now that he is doing much better, and I have returned to full-time work, I recently attempted to bring him back--only to be told that he is permanently banned. The reason given was a Facebook comment I had made at the time describing our experience. I made multiple attempts to have a calm, reasonable conversation with staff to revisit the situation, especially given the time that has passed and my son's improved health. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to reconsider. This puts us in a very difficult position. As a working parent, I rely on the Kids Club in order to use the gym. Without access to childcare, we are now faced with canceling a membership we've maintained for years--not because we want to, but because we no longer have a way to utilize the facility. What's most concerning is the lack of empathy and accountability in how this situation has been handled. I sincerely hope the club takes a closer look at how interactions with children are managed, and how situations like this are resolved, so that other families don't have a similar experience.

The pulley towers are ancient and almost always have at least 1 station broken, broken clips/pins, 7.5# weights that don't work well, bars with sharp burrs, etc... Outdated. Missing many machines that modern gyms have. For abour $70/month one would expect better. Seems more geared towards families with kids and elderly. Always adding on new fees and trying to sell extras.

There are two picnic tables by the river. It would be pretty easy to walk a kayak down to the river edge though there is a kayak put in further up route 70 (towards Lancaster center). NO AMENITIES. Please carry out your trash (especially your bags full of dog poop). Sadly, there are a lot of poop bags and Dunkin' Donuts trash, especially near popular fishing spots as of late.

So I went to their website and booked a tee time for 5:30PM, a cart, 9 holes, starting on the back nine. When I arrived earlier to check in and buy a bucket of balls I found no one in the pro shop. I waited for 5 minutes before heading to the restaurant and asked if they knew if anyone was in the pro shop right now. They pointed out a young man sorting carts so I went back to take a look in the pro shop, still no one there so I asked the young man if he knew where someone was. He said he wasn't working there today but could check me in. So we walk in and I get told he'd have to ask the guy working there today if they could let carts out this late (mind you there were multiple tee times for carts surrounding the one I booked). The guy comes in the young man asks and he says "no way not happening" I explain I booked online specifically for a cart and he tells me "they're just rolling them back". Ok that's fine. The young man asked if I still wanted to walk to which I replied not really and he told me he apologized. Had no apology from the guy or explanation as to why the website still had multiple tee times with carts after OR why I waited around and tried to find someone. Just very blunt and arrogant. No reason for it in my opinion. Everyone else was kind though.
