My husband asked why and asked about the other parents in line and she ignored him and told the male window teller. The teller then made an announcement only looking at my husband to get out of line and then proceed to call him out specifically, the other parents STAYED in line. Once my husband left the line he sat in one of the three empty handicap chairs. The same female security guard walked up to him leaning into his space and told him " you know these seats are only for disabled people" ...... (mind you he's able to sit there) He then proceeded to tell her "you really want to ask me that?" Horrible experience at this location with this particular worker. Maybe try and have a better day Ma'am. And don't assume someone's handicap

When I realized I had to visit the DMV, I KNEW I was in for a wait…read more First and foremost, if you can complete as much as possible on the DMV website beforehand, I HIGHLY recommend you do so. There are several items, such as mine, that will require you to complete an online application and visit a DMV office in person. I completed the online application for a Real ID card and arrived at this DMV branch with no appointment (mistake!). The first thing you MUST do is scan the QR code posted on signs outside of the building. When you have completed this step, you will receive a number on your phone. This is the priority number you will hear announced over the PA system when it is your turn to approach a specific window to handle your issue. Though it was crowded inside, there was no line outside, as I have witnessed numerous times while driving by the area. Upon completing the above-cited steps, I took a seat and waited for my turn. I waited 1.5 hours before my number was called. Once called, I approached the window as directed and spoke with the DMV representative. This same employee advised me that I had not completed an online application for a Real ID card, which I had done only hours prior, but for some reason, it was not showing up on the employee's computer. As a result, I was forced to take a seat adjacent to the counter and start the process over again on a mounted iPad, UUGH! As the DMV representative handled other customers' issues, I sat at a small table next to each customer and could hear their entire conversation. It took me 10 minutes to complete my application, and when I was finished, the DMV representative assisted me with my issue. After this step was completed, I had to wait in a separate line to take a new photo for my Real ID card. This line was long (15+ people) as only one of two cameras was working and available. This process took 29 minutes. Employees were helpful and professional. They appeared to be working as efficiently as possible, so they all received an A in my book. The exterior and interior of the building were clean and well-organized, and parking was readily available in their large parking lot. As long as you enter this building knowing you ARE going to have to wait for at least 1 hour, you WILL survive, and life will go on.

A Government-Issued Test of Human Patience…read more Welcome to the DMV, where time goes to die and hope slowly evaporates under fluorescent lighting. "Hurry up and wait" isn't a saying here -- it's a lifestyle. Long wait times don't even begin to cover it. You sit. You wait. You watch the board. Nothing changes. You start questioning what year it is. At some point you're pretty sure the people ahead of you have aged several decades. The employees look just as thrilled to be here as you are, which is to say: not at all. The energy is pure misery. Everyone looks annoyed, inconvenienced, and personally offended that you dared to need a government service. Any question you ask feels like you're interrupting a hostage situation. And let's talk about the smell. A unique blend of old paper, frustration, recycled air, and despair. It's the kind of place where even the walls seem tired. No amount of air circulation can save this environment. The process is confusing, slow, and somehow designed to waste as much time as humanly possible. You'll fill out forms. Then you'll be told you filled out the wrong forms. Then you'll wait again. Then maybe -- just maybe -- you'll be helped. Or not. Everything you expect a DMV to be? It's all here. But somehow worse. Slower. More depressing. More soul-crushing. If purgatory has a waiting room, this is it. Bring snacks. Bring patience. Bring a will to survive. Because once you walk in, you're not leaving anytime soon. One star

Upon entering, I noticed there were no toilet seat covers available. I improvised by placing toilet paper on the seat before using the restroom. Afterward, I went to wash my hands and was surprised to find that there was no soap and no paper towels available. Concerned about the sanitation issue, I went to Window 4 at approximately 1:10 PM and politely asked who I should contact regarding the missing soap and paper towels. The employee appeared annoyed and responded that there was nothing they could do because an outside vendor was responsible for replacing those supplies. I explained that I needed to wash my hands and asked what public health officials would think about a restroom without soap or paper towels. The employee then stated, in an aggressive tone, that I was welcome to contact them. I was caught off guard and disappointed by both the lack of restroom supplies and the response I received. I then requested to speak with a manager. When I explained the situation to the employee at the front entrance, she appeared to laugh and gave the impression that this was a recurring issue that was rarely addressed. After speaking with the manager, she promptly visited the restroom and provided a portable hand soap dispenser and paper towels. My primary concern is the number of people who may have used the restroom and been unable to properly wash their hands due to the lack of soap and paper towels. This creates a significant public health concern and increases the risk of cross-contamination. It is unfortunate that such a basic sanitation issue existed in a public facility serving so many people.

I knew what to expect, but didn't think it would be quite so bad. The parking lot was packed! Why is it so small?? I had to park across the street in a dirt field and cross two roads where the cars had little visibility. I love that you can check in on your phone! Thank goodness for that, I was able to walk right in and find a spot to sit... wait no, let me rephrase that. I was able to walk right in and stand in line hoping for a spot to sit. Yes, there was a small line of people waiting for a seat. The timing wasn't bad but I did have an appointment. The employees look so miserable! They can't hear you through the partition so you have to repeat yourself 5 times, they're not clear or direct and are not happy when they have to explain something to you. The stand apart Covid signs are still posted but I was practically shoulder to shoulder the whole time I was there. I don't think the DMV will ever change, but it would be nice if they did. Miserable employees make everyone around them miserable as well.
