I was entertaining an outing with friends that required a bit of a drive and thought it might be fun to rent an classic limo - like one we had back in the day for prom. Very often when I go with friends to wineries or day trips, everyone gets the sprinter vans now and it's just a slightly different experience. So I did request a quote for businesses nearby that might be able to accomodate my group, only a week in advance. While I number of businesses reached back out to me with quotes, I quickly learned that fewer companies have these classic stretch limos in their fleet. Ballston not only got back to me quickly, but was also available to hop on a call first thing that morning. Because there was some transparency on rates after seeing a number of quotes, I felt confident that their quote was fair and felt good moving forward with locking it in after reviewing logistics. The day of my birthday, the driver arrived on time and was great throughout the 6 hours he was booked. (Three of those hours we were inside eating brunch but he also worked with us to extend our time when we asked if we could drop by one more place before heading back from Baltimore!) The company communicated effectively the plan of action for the special day for my daughter and my family. They also made sure everything was broken down and explain as far as terms and conditions. On the day of services are driver arrived 15 minutes early and advised via text that they were outside waiting. When we came out the driver was very cordial and also helpful in getting everything that we needed for the entire day loaded into the sprinter that we rented. The sprinter was very clean and up-to-date. Once we were all loaded into the sprinter the driver got us to the arena very safely and early. During the day we went to several stops before returning home later that night. The entire day was absolutely perfect thanks to DC path and our driver. The driver called and communicated all day long during different drop offs and activities that the family had throughout the day. A full 1/2 hour after scheduled time. He advised us that he "just got the call at 540". I called the office. Their answer was "we were really backed up today because of the weather". We had a rain shower today around 4pm---just a rain shower. So I suggested that someone could have called us at 5pm so we could have made other arrangements. Her answer was "we were really backed up". I said, "ok, no credit, just a too bad try again another time". She said "yes, that's all I can do"

He said he could not pick me up at the front address where I had been promised an early pickup. I said Lyft was picking people up as I was standing at that moment in front of the promised location. What was the problem? He said he would drive around. He was angry picking me up. His car was not a Red Top vehicle but a black car with the number on the right front of his vehicle that was given by Red Top on their text, and his car tag matched. (I had asked when reserving the quick pickup if the vehicle would be clearly marked as a Red Top taxi. Operator said Yes--but it wasn't. Only a number on the front right of vehicle with a matching vehicle tag.) He arrived Angry. He yelled about my not being on the opposite side of the building. I said it was my first time at location. First time calling red top cab from that public spot. He is mad. He said my fare was already an additional 5.00. I asked him to pull over and let me out. It took him too long to let me out of the car.
