I highly recommend this company. We needed a lift chair installed in our home due to a serious medical condition in our family. I called Footit from the hosiptal when I learned that we would need a lift chair , and I spoke to an employee about the various options with the hope that we could get it installed in a week or so. To my total amazement, the employee ( who later I found out was Rich the owner) told me due to the urgency of this request, he would have the chair measured and installed by the time my wife was released from the hospital (four hours later) ! I cannot thank the technician who installed the unit (Rob) and Rich the owner, for not only their quick response, professional installation, and quality product, but for the empathy they demonstrated for what our family was facing. We have subsequently returned to Footit for other products that we have needed, including ramps, grab bars, etc. Thank you Rich and your employees for providing quality service to individuals and families . Recently, within the past month I went there with a friend to help her get a brace. Very unfriendly is the manager...she was on the floor to help customers with fittings and what not I found her to be cold and abrasive. I came in and was very polite, courteous, and not rude. It did not warrant such rudeness. When I had called ahead to make sure that there was someone available to work with us the party answering the phone it was oblivious as to what I was asking for and it was something that they promoted that they did like elbow braces. The only thing that she did get right was the directions to the store... I think she knew where she was supposed to be at work...lol Her stating what size I was looking for is an example of how inconsiderate the staff is. My parents ha e frequented the store since then and the customer service continues to be terrible, cold, and unfriendly! read more

Awful customer service. It took 3 months for my father to get his diabetic prescription shoes. Every time I called they said they had not received the paperwork from his doctor. My doctor said it was faxed over. Footit never contacted my father or me to say they didn't receive the paperwork. This went on for months and every time, it was up to me to contact them! I called at least 5 times and got the same response every time! I will never use this store again and you can bet all my friends will know. read more

Not impressed at all. We needed a lift chair installed. They sent a nice kid to come over and measure. He didnt know anything and kept trying to reach his colleagues on the cell phone for help. Unable to get the answers, he left and said I would get a call back in 30 minutes after he returns to his office 3 miles away. After waiting for a week and a half for that return call, I gave up. We were ready to place the order, but upfront service like this had me wondering that if maintenance service was needed, would we run into the same poor response. I called another company. Haven't been there in a long time. Went today with my husband to get some compression stockings. Monica was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great place, friendly, knowledgeable people and helpful. Have been to other medical supply places and have not had as good a time as this was. Would highly recommend. My husband wished he could get his CPAP replacements there but Medicare won't pay. Too bad!! read more

I have had several residents with Neurological impairments and Diabetes that have received Diabetic shoes from Footit Medical and they were not serviced well nor does Footit attempt to have Med B reimburse for the Diabetic Shoes. I have a resident who received Apex shoes with a failed Velcro strap and it has caused her to fall x 2. Footit only has a 15 day take back policy in lieu of the manufacturer warranty etc and they merely gave me the number to pursue myself on behalf of my resident. Apex is willing to replace the shoes at this time no thanks to Footit!! read more

I called this store yesterday to get directions. I clearly stated that my husband and I were coming in to shop for a new CPAP machine for him. When we arrived we were greeted by a young woman and when we stated that we needed to shop for a CPAP a man came forward and rudely barked at us "do you have a scipt?" My husband replied that he indeed did have his prescription for a CPAP machine. "Well, you'll need more than that!" was the man's reply. "You need a copy of your sleep study!". His attitude was not friendly, professional or helpful. It was quite simply, rude. There was no greeting from him, introduction, or welcoming feel. This is from the Footit website; it reads: "The biggest improvement was allowing patients to come in without an appointment and speak to a Respiratory Therapist and or one of our CPAP Intake Coordinators. Having a supply center where you can look at CPAP machines, masks, and accessories is something you can do at Footit. " This is what we were looking for. Options. Instead, we were immediately put on the defensive. When I called for directions, wouldn't it have been nice if someone said: "be sure to have your prescription and a copy of your sleep study with you." This man, whom I'm assuming is the owner, could have used this situation to better train the person that answered the phone. Additionally, he certainly could have spoken to us differently, let's say politely, and relay the same information. At one point he did say while walking away from us, that we would "have to call and get it faxed". Again, it wasn't what he said, it's how he said it. Because of this man's attitude, my husband and I quickly left, with hm shouting from the back of the store "go somewhere else then and try to find what you want. You won't find it anywhere!". I completely understand that we didn't have what was required to obtain a new CPAP machine. However, to be treated in this manner is not acceptable. Although this store has mostly positive reviews, we didn't find a positive experience at Footit and will not return. Additionally, I caution people looking to shop here for CPAP equipment. read more

I tried to get a knee roller that was required to have after my surgery and it took me 3 weeks and never got it. I had to go to another supplier instead. There billing department never returned my calls or helped to get the process done faster. read more
