I had burning pain in my legs caused by varicose veins. My primary doctor referred me to Dr…read more Phillip R. Totonelly, one of the finest medical doctors in the Hudson Valley, with over 30 years of experience. In my first visit to Dr. Totonelly an ultrasound was performed on both my legs which helped to identify damaged veins. I was then very well educated by Dr. Totonelly regarding the varicose vein treatment I was to receive to relieve my vascular problems. I was really happy when my Aetna insurance approved the surgery, called Endovenous Ablation. That surgery was done in the office under local anesthetic and no hospitalization was required. It took approximately 45 minutes per leg, which were surgically repaired with a one week interval between the two surgeries. In both instances I was able to walk without any problems the same day of the respective surgeries. Amazingly, within a couple of weeks after the surgeries I STOPPED FEELING burning and annoying pain in my legs. Dr. Totonelly further advised me about cosmetic Laser spider vein treatment and Sclerotherapy to both legs. I received 4 treatment sessions to address my numerous spider veins. I could not believe it, but the treatments resulted in the complete disappearance of huge brown spots on my legs caused by poor blood circulation. With my spider veins now vanquished, my legs currently have a healthy , young look. I am very pleased to be a patient of Dr. Totonelly and his very friendly, very well trained staff. Dr. Totonelly has such an amazing, compassionate personality. He's a highly trained, highly skilled professional, as well as an incredible human being with a huge heart. He is truly dedicated to his work and he really cares for his patients. I learned Dr.Totonelly not only does treatments of the veins but also does amazing facial and body laser treatments . His great work returns health and youth to people. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Elena.

My wife received great treatment, however, the payment must be mailed to their NY office. DO NOT…read moreMAKE ANY PAYMENTS THROUGH THE MAIL!!! My credit card was compromised by mailing information to that address. How archaic is this? in addition, you should not be placing checks in the mail. Postal workers have been stealing checks and bank accounts have been hacked as a result. I am 72 years old but this business must modernize. There is no way to make online payments with this business. I make all payments online and will make no exceptions anymore. I am very disappointed in their treatment of payments and disregard for safeguarding people's finances. Bob E.

Many years ago, medical clinics would ask for our social security number in order to get treated…read more Insurance companies also used it as a patient's identifier. It became illegal for clinics and insurance companies to request a social security number because many were leaked, hacked or even sold by medical clinics, and put their patients at risk of identity theft. Now the less ethical clinics are now demanding to scan your driver's license to keep it in their files in order to treat a patient. Driver's license information can be used to commit identity theft, so that's the same problem as with the social security number. Decent clinics ask to view the driver's license to confirm patients' identity but do not demand a copy of it. This clinic REFUSES TREATMENT if you don't agree to let them scan your driver's license!!! They DO NOT CARE if it is putting you at great financial risk as it was the case with social security numbers. This clinic is rude, unethical, and very disrespectful. Many other places will not ask to scan your driver's license. Do not encourage clinics that are either very clueless about how easily data is stolen at clinics, or they don't care, or they sell your data for profit. Be aware that clinics have to comply with HIIPA regulation, but driver's license information is not protected health information under HIIPA, therefore clinics can do whatever they want with it, that's why it's a very bad practice to give them this information, and ethical clinics that respect their patients do not ask for it. I refuse to deal with such unethical clinics, and if many of you do the same, they'd have no choice but to change their practice.
