I was really nervous when I went, but the staff and the doctor really made me feel comfortable. No pain at all maybe just a sting with some cooling feeling and that was it. Staff was always pleasant. Made you feel comfortable with every visit. They even remembered my name was comforting, it's taking me longer to get apart from the parts store than it was to go in the doctors office in and out. Would give 0 stars if it were possible. My mom came to this clinic June 2017 for her vein treatments, since then everything has gotten worse. She received her vein treatment via injection. Everything was great during her 1st treatment. We paid $3,500 upfront for her treatment and went about our way. We went back to their offices about two months later because after her treatment she started having sever knee pain, and her vain's were darkening instead of lightening. She even had newer veins pop up. They completely dismissed her complain, kept her waiting at one of their stations and after a hour of no one coming to help went to the receptionist and let her know we were leaving. The receptionist didn't seem to want to help and so we left. A few months later, we still received no call wondering why we left that day or to do a follow up call. The pain at this point is so Sever she had to go to an orthopedic who Then recommended she gets CAT scans and x-rays. Mind you this is all outta pocket. It's been 11 months and the veins are darker then when she started and her knees is messed up. Well, I should have read the reviews before going here. Went for treatment was told my insurance covered it. Why do you keep sending me bills? Wait time is ridiculous. I had to constantly take off of work and at one visit waited 40 minutes only to be told there was no one there to see me. As I left the office I told the receptionist I would never be back. Recently received a charge on my credit for $400. Called billing and told them I don't go there anymore. Response: oh, sorry, it was a computer glitch. We get this often. NEVER AGAIN read more

BEWARE OF USA VEIN CLINICS Would give 0 stars if it were possible. They are deceiving on the information they tell you. I was told they accept my insurance. I went for the consultation and asked what my copayment was and I was told no copayment, and bam I received a bill by text for $1,144.00 Three days of phone calls no results just conflicting responses from their billing department. So the final results are that I have to pay $1,144.00 If I do further procedures they will bill me after the fact and not knowing what the procedure will cost. So, the ending results is I lost $1,144.00 and I am not going back. Very angry for being lied to and deceived. read more

Where do I start?!?! 1. 38 calls to confirm an appointment I made 2 days prior. 2. Went in b.c 1 leg hurt. Told I had varicose veins in both legs. Got the procedure done in both. Now I have no feeling in my ankle on the leg that didn't hurt! Doctor said it wasn't from the procedure.... 3. Doctor that did my consult did not do my procedure, but he said nice to see me again...I was like "who are you?" 4. Billing dept. is billing me for stuff that the office said was no fee. 5. The girl that did my ultrasound was eating popcorn and surfing through her music playlist while testing me. the only positive is the sweet girl that assisted the doctor. She was thorough and caring. One star is probably too good of a rating. I am so displeased with the quality of service. First you have to wait two to three hours to be seen, then if you try to reach them by phone you can't call the clinic you go to the phone is answered by some answering service that will send a message to the office that you visit. Why can't I speak to someone that works in the office that I go to! Someone who knows about my case. And why can't I get a simple approval on an MRI that my Dr. ordered. I've never had these issues with any other Dr's office I've ever been too. It is totally frustrating and aggravating! read more

I've only had one treatment and doctor and assistant were extremely professional. I couldn't recommend this place because of wait time. Totally overbooked. For first treatment I arrived 15 minutes early and was not seen until 90 minutes after appt time. I am currently sitting in waiting room for follow up. I was assured it would be quick as Doctor would just have to look at leg. It is now over 20 minutes. And to top it off I received phone call while sitting here asking me if I wanted to reschedule? No apology or explanation given. My next 2 appointments I got in immediately only because I booked the first appointment in the early morning. So here I am again with the 1230 appointment and go they took me in to get prepared after 15 minutes, I have now been waiting an hour read more

Do not even bother coming here, our appointment was at 10:15 and it took them 3 hours to take us, the whole time the receptionist was telling us "oh 15 minutes" mind you the patient waiting was my 93 year old grandmother. Even before making the appointment I explained to them she can not wait too long thus her age... they said no problem I will put her in early so she doesn't wait .... unfortunately that wasn't the case. This clinic and its call center is very disorganized and needs extensive training. My insurance company told me that my procedure was approved for surgery on 9/14/20. I received a call on 9/12/20 from the call center saying it was not approved and that I needed to reschedule. On 9/14/20 I called the call center (spoke with a girl named Violet) telling me I was approved for surgery on 9/17/20 (Rescheduled) with either Dr. Berkowitz or Dr, White, with Violet telling me again authorization was approved with either Doctor. I received another phone call on 9/17/20 from the call center telling that I had to reschedule again, because Dr. Berkowitz was no longer at the Sunrise Highway Office and that I needed authorization with Dr. White. I explained again to this "cracked staff" (I'm being sarcastic BTW) saying I was ALREADY APPROVED. This call center does not know how to communicate and I wasted two days off from my work schedule. Word of advice to patients: DO NOT COME TO USA VEIN CLINICS. You will feel a whole lot worse, not better. Getting one star from me - consider it MERCY. Henry S. read more

I selected zero stars as i went to the first appointment and was then told my insurance denied my treatment. They insisted I make another appointment for the same test. I accepted the appointment but explained that i have a $70 copay which I could not afford. I was bombarded with calls and texts reminding me about my appointment. I called and asked to speak to the Dr. and was told he was too busy. I to have him call me back and never reached him. When they called yet again to remind me of the appointment i told them i was not keeping the appointment due to not being able to speak to the Dr. I also responded no to the text message. I was then charged $75 for a no show appointment and was told that was because i signed a contract. This place is a rip off and not very professional. They also refused to give me the email address or a fax number so I could send a complaint. I am disputing the charges with my bank. Do not use this place they are quacks. read more

I am not one to complain as I have owned businesses and still do and I completely understand things happen from time to time. However, this is the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced not only with a Dr. Office but any organization EVER! I visited the USA vein Clinic in Valley Stream on 4/30 after an abnormal reading of an ABI test. After waiting almost 2 hours to see the doctor I had an ultrasound done at the center. The ultrasound showed I needed further testing, a CT Scan to confirm PAD. They scheduled me from a CT scan on 5/3. All the Dr. needed to do was send over a pre authorization or request for Authorization. My appointment for the CT was cancelled because it had not been approved before the ct test. Needless to say I was on the phone almost every day for two weeks to follow up to see what was taking so long on the authorization and was told they were waiting on approval. So realizing something was not right I reached out to my insurance provider who stated they NEVER received a pre Authorization or request for an authorization until 5/15 more than two weeks later. Needless to say thank God it is not a life or death matter otherwise I would be dead. I highly recommend to go to a regular vascular Dr. as opposed to this clinic that is incompetent and the head has no idea what the tail is doing. Bad Bad Bad experience!! read more
