I went back for four surgeries over several years. After 8 veins were done on one leg I was told that he was only part of the way done on that leg. They claimed that the PA kept finding more internal varicose veins. After many thousands of dollars and three years there was absolutely no change in my leg. I feel like a fool for not getting a second opinion. I do not find his practice to be ethical or effective. Run away!!!

I had my first appointment with Maria, his sweet and bright nurse practitioner. She ultra sounded my legs and explained everything. Then I began my treatments with Dr. Krysinski. He is such an excellent surgeon...he is kind, he listens and he has worked miracles on my legs!. It is a process, I had a lot going on and my insurance made me space my appointments out some, it will probably take over a year or two to finish but it is worth it. My legs are finally feeling good again. I couldn't be happier. AND my insurance covers the procedures aside from my deductible and copays but just like it is with all of my pcp visits. Before surgery; "do you have any question" no pause, then adds "of course you don't, since there's nothing to ask". i am overly respectful to everyone but this guy never deserved it. I did every test he needed for bypass surgery, he said 3 weeks to surgery. Got FLMA started at work. A week before when I was told I'd have surgery, I called Lynn his office person (nice woman) to ask why I haven't been sent for bloodwork. Oh, he cancelled it since we can't get a graft. I called 3 more times for an appt. No return call. This all happened since I had an issue he wouldn't talk about from the 1st surgery but admitted. (It's not uncommon for this to happe) he cracked my artery and I told his sonogramit's during the vein study before the 2nd surgery What he said. That's all it took! To be forced to start over again by finding a new dr with this type of medical issues should because Schmetterer behaves this way should be illegal. He is a horrible human being.

I saw her briefly about a car accident…read moreand happily answered questions about my current medications and medical history, which includes a well-documented, well-supported disability diagnosis. She questioned every medication I was on, questioning my former doctors who I all like very much. She contradicted their medical advice, unsolicited because I wasn't there for any reason other than pain from the accident. She seemed to question my prior diagnosis, again, unsolicited. When I calmly tried to defend my position, she raised her voice at me and yelled "Im not arguing with you." I am an adult patient and I have the right to engage in my care. She seems to think otherwise. Any doctor who tries to steamroll you about your health isn't a good doctor. She seems miserable. She needs to retire.
