I want to thank the USO for this nice facility. The personnel are very cordial and help full. This is a great place to relax and away from the travel blues. Lots of good food, clean bathrooms, a quiet area and plenty of charging ports located in the facility. There are TV's and a flight update board so you can keep tabs on your flight schedule. This facility is located in concourse A on the fourth floor by gate 39. Highly recommend this facility. Stumbled upon this USO next to Denver Delta sky lounge on layover to Italy. It is strickly for US Active Military and Retired military. The did turn away a few people who could not show proof. Since this is volunteer run and not financially supported by the military, the food was minimal with snacks. Pluses: a playarea for the kids and a few private rooms to relax which we used away from military families so it was quiet. Not a bad place for layover . Note:they will be moving to a larger more updated space in the next few weeks. read more

Isn't open 24/7, but was a great break spot in the middle of the day. They also have some lighter sandwiches and hot dogs over the lunch hour. I am 100% disabled veteran and I had a seven hour layover between Rome and Dallas in Los Angeles. Went to the USO and they wouldn't let me in even with my valid VA card. The worst was that the lady was so rude to me I was I was shocked. Tall blonde lady why in the world wouldn't 100% disabled veterans be able to go to the USO at an airport when they're traveling. read more

I got denied entry (as a veteran) by an elderly woman at the front desk. I was unaware that the USO changed its policy and no longer accepts veterans (thanks for making us feel like our service meant nothing) and when I informed this woman that I had been in the Chicago Midway USO a week ago she then said "Good for them." What a disgusting response. The ladies at the front desk have zero respect for veterans. I have never felt so devalued in my life. If she represents the USO, this just shows me that the USO doesn't actually value its veterans. read more

I have a confession. I love going to the airport. I don't know if it's the excitement of knowing that I'm going somewhere for vacation, or simply the energy that surrounds it, but I love it. I know, I know, I'm an odd one. My husband on the other hand, hates the airport and arriving over an hour early for a scheduled flight makes for an even longer airport experience... For him! Thankfully, our flight to San Diego was located out of Terminal A, which allowed my husband (an AF veteran) and I to check out the USO. It's downright awesome because: ++ The space itself is large, accommodating to parties large and small and offer a variety of seating options. Spot in front of the tv? It's yours! Need a place to kick back with a good book? Right this way! How about a place to shower or a quiet room to nap before the next leg of your trip? Come on down! Literally so much room to spread out, relax and rest. ++ Active duty/retired/any veteran, their families, and even military dependents, without their loved ones, are given privilege to enter. Although I was with my husband, it was nice to know, if traveling without him, I would easily be welcomed. Simply check in at the front desk and you're golden. ++ Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is complimentary. The morning we arrived, the fridge was stocked with fresh juices (orange and apple), freshly brewed coffee, a bar full of snacks (think kind bars, bagged doughnuts, fruit, etc....), a case full of bakery style doughnuts, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, YOU NAME IT! They were even making waffles for guests upon entry! Besides food, USO offers free toiletries, books and magazines to read there or to take with you, free Wi-Fi and access to their movies, computers and more! ++ Staff is outstanding in helping to provide a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. Many people I encountered were full of smiles, engaging in conversation, serving up waffles and constantly replenishing the cases/fridge. Everyone was so nice and it totally made the experience even better. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this spot, as they are insanely generous and extremely thankful to all service members and their family. Some USO's will giev you crap and tell you that you can't come in if you are a Veteran. They claim USO's are for active duty and dependents only. I think that is wrong that dependents can go in there unaccompanied without their sponsor but veterans can not. I mean... we served our country. We deserve to relax. I am now 100% disabled veteran so they let me in. It was pretty full and noisy. But the seats were soooo comfy. It is a great get away for military and 100% veterans to sit in comfort and chill without a million people around and very uncomfortable seats. They have food and drinks. I dont know if they charge because I had my own food. There is a bathroom right outside the door. You just need to check in and show your military id. For kids they also have Nintendo to play, a darker room to rest in chairs or a little library. read more

I didn't even know it was there. I was doing a long layover at the Denver airport. I had been laying down by my next gate trying to rest my eyes for over an hour when I decided I should go get some water. Then I saw the USO sign. Apparently Denver has a USO tucked away upstairs. You had to take an elevator up or you would never know it was there. I was quite happy as it's always nice to pop into a USO. It's a chance to run into some other vets, and grab a bite too. I went up and signed in at the front desk. A nice guy there pointed me on in to the place. It looked cozy. There was a wall of windows that looked out over the atrium in this terminal. I was able to grab a hotdog and a cola and plop down. It was a nice space, with people talking in groups here and there. I must have looked road tired as I was offered a bunk in the back to take a nap. I had no time left, my flight was coming up. So I headed to my gate, making a mental note that the Denver USO was a great place to stop in. read more

Nice location on the fifth floor. They are up with all the airline lounges. It's quite and away from all the traffic. They have internet and plenty of places to charge anything you need to charge. They actually even have a station to charge phones. The staff like any USO love their job and are there to help. It also has all the normal goodies to eat and snack on. read more

These folks who run USO's are volunteers and phenomenal at what they do. USO offers the necessary respite in between flights and so much more. They are a place of comfort, kindness, rest and nourishment. If you are a VETERAN, Active Duty or Reserves, YES ---USO's are for you! Imagine, you've just deplaned from a heavy flight, tired as all heck and just wanting a good margarita. Welp, the airlines ain't always your enemy, because The USO CLUB are for the winners! The USO is located in the center core of A Concourse (First Stop) of the train platform. Locate the elevator and hit Level 4!! Don't you forget it! If you're still lost, the number is (303)342-6880. The front desk lobby lady is very nice and super accommodating, answers quickly too! Food, a spacious 6-feet distancing ambience and superb customer service, the airlines club is the way to go. You can access the USO without touching the busy trains by going through the North TSA A bridge security by door 616 from the Frontier ticket counter!! (Both East and West) I can actually walk ahead to the USO after passing the long bridge entering the first concourse. I saw planes departing and arriving through the taxiway below me, which is pretty neat. The wooden escalators make me excited because once they open, I'm greeted by the cafe, with pastries and baked goods. They have water and lemonade fountains with plenty of seating area. I love that they have a children's play area and also television sets for both parent and child to sit back and relax. I noticed the walls of Challenger Coin Collections and screens with departures schedules with the names and airlines. Super useful information. read more

I love the service That the USO provides to prior and current sevice members. That old saying "it's the little things that matter some times" is how I would put them in perspective. Each location is going to be effected by the space provided, volunteer availability, to donations given to the particular location. This location seemed to be operating at full capacity the day I stop in. Almost every seat was taken up. Though the number of people seemed to overwhelm this location, the two elderly volunteers kept their composer and still were awesome, friendly, and inviting to everyone that step through the door. Upon walking in, I was informed of the many amenities they provided, magazines that I could take with me on my journey for free if I like it, the food area and etc. I grab a delicious chicken salad sandwich, that was made fresh from the lady working the food/kitchen area, and was given a couple bags of chips. Found me a spot, and commenced to enjoy my snack and charged my phone. During my duration there I talk to a couple different people as to see what their back story was and just to be friendly. It help as next thing I knew it was time to go catch my flight. All and all this USO location provided me the means to relax comfortably for the most part for 3-4 hours, get my grub on and provided me the means to stay charged up. So I before leaving I gave a pretty decent donation as I always do after visiting to say thank you. read more

This is an amazing USO. I have been here once while flying into the area for a fellow serviceman's funeral. It was a very emotional trip and knowing I could come to the USO after landing to have a place to wait for another fellow serviceman to land was a relief. It was not busy, social distancing and masks were enforced, and sanitation was being done. They had food and drinks available, reliable wifi, TVs, and couches, chairs, and tables spaced out. There were also plenty of outlets near seating to charge your devices. I was able to enjoy the four hours I waited for my friend to land with a meal and beverage, a comfortable place to sit and nap, and reliable wifi to read some articles. If you are a veteran, military, or dod civilian I highly recommend stoping in. read more

I am very impressed with their customer service and hospitality. My mom and I stayed in the facility for 4 hours due to our 5hr delayed flight (tornado watch in Colorado). Their amenities include a children play area with a separate tv, counter for snack type foods such as hot dogs/nachos/tacotuesday, a selection of hot/cold beverages such as water/lemonade/coffee/tea/decaf, bagged snacks to grab when on the go (cookies, Oreos, apples, carrots), pastries (almond scones, donuts, don't twists), and entertainment (large assortment of board games, big screen TV). The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to put just the right amount of cheese on my nachos. I also noticed they were very attentive with all the civilians/vets/active needs! We have been to many USOs and this one is by far the best. Friendliest volunteers, best snacks, most comfortable chairs, huge screen tv and free wifi. What's not to love? When your spouse wants to get to the airport super early, it's a godsend. Quieter and more comfy than the terminal. read more

This place is the most racist USO I have ever experienced! I went twice in 7 days and each time they were so rude to me, the 2nd time the lady denied my entrance even after showing my military ID! Stating to me " We do not accept your ID here ". This is so disgusting! I'm a mixed African American half Irish American woman. But look mostly the strong black woman I am!! I noticed the 1st time I was there, the other members watched me & gave false information just keep me away from the uso center. The 2nd time, the lady denied me coming in after I showed my military & drivers license. I didn't cause a scene because I know what damage I could do and just wanted to make it home the same day. I've been to first class lounges in Japan and I still prefer the warmth and hospitality of USO lounges like this one particularly stood out because it had a sleeping area for service members and their weary family. They had breakfast type of food, muffins and even a quiet area for reading! Also this was right next to the United lounge making it easy to locate. Greeted by staff with warm welcome, informative with all the amenities and active duty "Treat Our Troops" participating stores, cafes, and restaurants! (Hubby got a scrambled egg/bacon bowl from BIG BOWL cafe for free with his active duty CAC card!!) The USO is located in concourse A at the Denver International Airport and can be accessed quickly using the train from any concourse departure. There's a luggage storage, a quiet room, a library, a TV room, a charging station, play area for the little ones, board game area, and computer room. They serve coffee, tea, milk, and juice. Oatmeal, cereal and pastries. In the cove area by the library there's a basket full of travel size toiletries. Soaps, lotions, shampoo and conditioner, etc. Very comfy area for military and families to unwind during their layover in Denver. Thank you USO!! read more

I've traveled A LOT,, and I've seen many USO's alone the way. This is got to be one of the worst places. I tried to get a cup of coffee out of the one pot. It was cold and nasty. The the search for creamer, which is hidden inside a small non-lit cooler. ( Good luck on the hunt) There's never anything to eat unless you want some white break and some cray home made jelly that's probably a week old. The staff hordes the small amounts of small chips bags behind the counter and God fobid you ask for 2!!! At what point does this facility operator start asking the locals for better donations and assets? Let's try doing a more pro-active action towards taking care of the military folks that visit this place. They deserve it. read more
