Big…read morelong story, but they left me stranded in a crappy area in La Puente for 5 hours before finally telling my husband, who was at home calling them because my cell phone was about to die, that they weren't coming. Thank God for Pro Towing in Chino. They got to me in less than half an hour.

COVID Price gouging alert…read more Okay so are all impound based tow companies monsters that steal from the poorest people knowingly and without remorse? Absolutely. Are tow companies that accept police tows even worse? Yes. But this thousand year old family business is charging me $300+ to get back the $500 car I had parked OFF-STREET for 1.) Them driving my car, not towing, driving it under 2.5 miles (for comparison Lyft charges $7.31! For the exact same drive) plus $39! A day that I don't pick it up - but for customers VOLUNTARILY doing business with them they charge $25 a day according to their own website. Plus like a $75 fee muttered indecipherable over the phone for 3+ days, to make sure that anybody poor can't earn money fast enough to spring their car from here so they can sell it and profit off of generating homelessness. IT GETS WORSE. I am in AGONY from medication discontinuation syndrome to the point i can barely stand up. My wallet and my meds are IN MY STOLEN CAR THAT THEY STOLE. So I call and tell them this and that I don't have an ID because it was stolen, and they say that my name is not on the registration yet. To test how evil this business was I didn't say but implied that maybe one the meds in the vehicle was for HIV - it's not, it's an SNRI psych med with excruciating withdrawal synptoms, but they didn't budge. They are literally willing to let you die of AIDS in the dirt for the sake of squeezing the last few hundred bucks you have in the world out of your now-dirty homeless pockets. The only real filth though... well you know. I was THERE when they took it, against my stated objections. THEY KNOW WHO'S EFFING CAR THIS IS. But the more obstacles they create and the more they made me suffer, the more they are legally able to charge me to buy back basically the only possession I have left in the world after this brutal pandemic. Next time you see a bunch of dirty homeless people lying on the sidewalk, don't ask yourself why they are there. They are in that state because LA not only fails to help people who are at the end of their rope one missed payment or impound like this away from losing their job and ending up sleeping in a vacant lot, we ACTIVELY and AGGRESSIVELY HARM these people and ADD TO THEIR NUMBERS with virtually every interaction the public and private sectors have with the poor. Did you know 911 isn't able to bring medication to you? You have to go to the ER even if you know exactly what you need and are in great pain because it was illegally seized from you. And you can't get it from your own car because the effing DMV is no help either and was closed for moths altogether when you still had the resources to get everything taken care of there. So these guys are basically as bad as bail bondsmen. Absolutely remorseless predators; Sociopathic capitalist greed and public graft together at their worst. California is FUBAR. Reported to DCBA for gouging, but the fact that the impound was completely illegal (per federal injunction) in the first place will likely not be addressed for years. Don't think of LA as a nice liberal city. This place is as uncaring and Dickensian as London in his time. Will be suing this business as well, mostly just to see if I even have a single legal right and now that I don't have piles of money (as far as the filth that operates this business knows anyway). I will destroy this business and those fundamentally similar to them if it takes a lifetime to do so, perhaps even if doing so literally kills me. Then we'll see how they like it when one of their competitors impounds the van that they live in with all of their possessions and tells them it will cost more than the van is worth to get it back plus more than they make in a day every day it's there. And that they won't release it to them because they need to go to the DMV first and get a new copy of their license, knowing it is not possible for them to do so without the car.

I was told that diamond bar tony couldn't do it because their trucks were broken down so I have to wait another 75 minutes for the new company. I find it hard to believe that a business does not check their cars before the last second before this supposed to pick the car up I do not recommend this company. They are not reliable in my opinion.

I got stranded on the freeway In the middle of the night and they came immediately. Their customer service is superb as they cared for me and my car's well being quickly. I was helped by a driver named Tom who was awesome in assisting me with the whole process. He was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable in his tow truck. They truly care about the people they're helping and are open 24/7. Calling them is a no-brainer as you will be helped at anytime and for a great price. They are very professional and get the job done quickly. I am definitely calling them again if I'm ever in a rut near or far from the area. :)

I used this towing company through AAA to move an inoperable vehicle from a friend's house to mine,…read moreand the experience was disastrous. Not only did the driver leave before we were ready, but they were also negligent and failed to follow basic safety protocols before departing. As a result, the driver's side door swung open during transit, causing major damage to my vehicle. Upon arrival, the driver also hit my front fence, causing further damage. Despite providing video and photo evidence, the company has given nothing but runarounds. Weeks went by without payment for either the fence or vehicle damage. They then had the vehicle towed to a body shop, during which miscommunication and negligence led to hitting my fence again and damaging my neighbor's vehicle, all documented. The body shop later confirmed that they couldn't repair the vehicle for some reason, so we settled on a payment amount for the damages and had the vehicle towed back to the towing company's yard in the meantime. I still have not received any payment and I've been actively trying to retrieve my vehicle, but it remains in their possession. Every scheduled tow, both to the repair shop and back to me, was handled without regard for our time. We waited all day and they repeatedly rescheduled for vague reasons like rain or "tow yard issues," and it's clear they have no respect for customers' time. This company has demonstrated incompetence, negligence and a complete lack of accountability. Even a simple make-good situation became a nightmare under their care. I strongly caution anyone considering them for towing services as you risk damage, delays and a company that shows no regard for your property or time.

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could rate this towing company zero stars I would. I have waited a while to…read morewrite this review because I am still in disbelief of the complete and utter lack of professionalism and respect that these employees and company have. I would warn anyone who cares about their car and their sanity to steer very clear of this place. I woke up to a flat tire and called AAA to tow it to my tire company of choice. AAA dispatched California Coach Towing and when the gentleman arrived he proceeded to tow my Jetta from the front rather than placing it on a flat bed. I thought something didn't look right, especially when we got on the freeway, but truth be told I don't know much about cars so I figured that the employee must know what he was doing. Wrong. We got to the tire company and when they asked me to turn my car on and slowly back it into their working space but my car would not start. Come to find out my transmission was completely fucked. The mechanics at the shop told me that it is common knowledge among anyone who knows cars that you do not tow a Jetta from the front because it will place the transmission out of whack. After calling the towing company and explaining what had happened, a very noticeably irritated manager name Ericka, or Erica, told me that they would have to send someone out to come and take a look at my car before I could move forward with having the transmission paid for and fixed by them. When they sent out their employee the young man told me plain and simple that it was a complete rookie mistake by the original guy who towed my car and quote "he should have definitely known better". Mind you, a simple tire change has now turned into a full day affair, causing me to miss work but through all of the frustration I stayed calm and just explained to Erica that I needed this handled immediately because I need my car to go to work. You would think after messing up my transmission I would at least get a simple I am sorry that happened and I understand and we will work to make sure it gets handled quickly. Nope. Throughout this 3 week nightmare I never once received any type of apology or reassurance from California Coach Towing. Instead I was met with constant attitude and contempt for simply trying to understand what was happening with getting my car fixed. I want to be clear that while I was of course annoyed at the original tow truck driver for his negligence, I was also understanding that sometimes things just happen and mistakes get made. This review is to highlight the complete and utter disgrace of manager, Erica. And after reading other reviews on their page I see I am not the only person that has been subjected to her vitriol and horrible customer service. Erica's annoyance at having to do her job couldn't have been more clear from her lack of communication and her icy attitude on the phone. The day this all happened she questioned why I wouldn't use my insurance to get a rental to which I replied why would I use my insurance when this was not a mistake I made? The company should be paying for my rental since it was their fault. Again, no apology. She abruptly hung up the phone, did not call me back, and texted me that they would arrange for it to be paid for through the company. Great. That is the least you could do after messing up my transmission! The entire time my car was in the shop I didn't get one update from them or one check in to ensure that everything was going okay with my car but the day my car was to be ready, payment from California Coach had not yet been made to the mechanic shop so they would not release my car to me. I called Erica to explain what happened and that I needed my car that night to which she replied, "why do you need it today, don't you still have the rental? You need to just use that until we can send payment" in a very, very rude way. I responded that it is none of her business why I need my car today but I need it TODAY and she told me "I don't like your f****** attitude" and HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. I have never in my life experienced this kind of treatment and attitude from any company or employee ever. The entire time I kept my composure and I remained calm despite this company putting me out for three weeks and for all of the rudeness and for Erica to hang up the phone on me when I am expressing I need my car that day was insane. Insane. She never called me back and rushed payment to the mechanic and I got my car but I was truly baffled at the treatment I received. Why would it ever be the place of Erica to question why I need MY car the day it is ready? It is NONE of your business. The point is that I need my car after your negligent employees messed up my transmission, a very costly negligence, I might add. Save yourself all of the hassle and never, ever come to this pathetic excuse of a place.
