I cannot figure out how to delete my other post. I went in the day after the PO on 7th was closed and the staff was standing in a frigid branch the next day completely helping a line of people. Normally I don't have a problem but this time, there's a problem. I sent a certified letter, they were suppose to get it in 3 days. Well, 1 week goes by, 2 weeks goes and nothing. Usps website said that I can go to post office , fill out a form. I did and told him my missing mail and he said it wasn't missing it's between facilties. Well, is facility holding my mail for two weeks, I don't know, why would they? this person told me I have to fill out the form online so I went to do that except I can't find the form online. So he was no help at all, maybe usps should make the website more user friendly. read more

A horrible joke of a customer service line. It's impossible to speak to an actual human being. Once you have requested "OTHER" assistance, the phone just rings and rings with no one ever picking up, so the call gets disconnected. There is zero accountabilty which only shields incompetent service! No other company or organization would be allowed to get away with this. The Post Master in Frederick, MD, needs to be held accountable to promptly address this problem and provide for a viable method for customers to express problems and issues. terrible customer service line. Wanted to speak to an agent but can never get passed the automated system.

The customer service stinks! The carriers aren't trained at all and my mail is brought back to me from another building. This time they LOST my package due to carrier error and I was basically told there was nothing they could do for me and that I should call the sender for a refund. This to me is unacceptable and I have no respect for how it was handled. Train your people!!! read more

Friendly and competent staff :-) I live nearby and stop here quiet frequently. I've never had issues with service and never feel rushed. The only downsize is that they close @ 5pm during the week I believe.. whereas the one in downtown is open till 6pm. read more

Had to take it down to 1 star. Dishonest business practices get 1 star. On my way out from the last failure here (which I yelped about), I had noticed a self-service kiosk machine. So I decided to come back and take things into my own hands, literally. I needed to mail a similar package to the exact same address as last time. But this time, unlike the postal worker had told me before, I had no less than THREE mailing options. Want more? Insurance was optional. OPTIONAL. Last time I was told it was mandatory. So with proof of what I already knew to be true, a 1 star review has been earned. read more

The Frederick MD post is awful due to the fact that they are constantly allowing the carrier on Hillcrest to continue make on going mistakes with the mail and packages not properly being delivered in the right mail box,not on time or not at all. Right is right and wrong is wrong. I continue to complain about this matter is not being addressed properly and being ignored. read more

They blamed me for their own mistakes on charging me different postage each time even though the mail has always been the same size and the same weight. They were very rude, and I wouldn't trust them. read more

Arrived at Post Office before 9:00 am on Monday, 6/12, planning to send a letter priority mail. Was greeted by staff member, Malissa, who assisted me with how to use the kiosk. I was so happy to get the letter in the mail. She went above and beyond to help me out. I really like the staff here. They are very nice and helpful everytime I stop by. This location has to be about the dumbest mailing location I ever encounter. They can't get a simple address correct and can't seem to read. Their carriers are all idiots and do not care enough to make sure the right mail goes to the right house. I've been in Frederick since 2008 and every year I've had to file a complaint against this place because my mail either doesn't come, my neighbor gets it, or they never deliver it. I have to be cautious every time I order something because there is a chance these morons will mess it up. My suggestion for anyone who needs to have something deliver and its very important make sure there is an option to require a signature because there is a 50/50 chance dealing with this mail service location that you won't get it and customer service is no help at all. read more
