The inside consists of expected booths from a variety of retailers that offer a great selection of items. I was able to find jewelry, glassware, art and even candy while there! The store is three stories and you will find something in every corner, we spent almost 2 hours here and I still don't think we saw everything! The service workers there were all very nice and we were reminded that we could ask for help at any point twice which was a welcome kindness! While this store has many sights to take in, the prices are really inconsistent, with some booths feeling very fair in value and other booths selling very similar products for 3x more. One example, would be carnival glass products ranging from $12 - $78 dollars for the same pitcher in different booths. While I know the owners do not control the prices set by retailers this is something to keep in mind. It is hard to tell what is a fair price if you're new to antiquing and you may have to search multiple areas to ensure you are getting a fair price. Some booths were not very organized with bins filled with multiple items, glassware on top of glassware, and jewelry/beads precariously pinned to corkboards which made it difficult to maneuver without fear of messing something up. The store itself is covered everywhere with items which can be somewhat overwhelming and makes it difficult to access and see some items. Especially in certain areas that have tight corners and small walkways due to item placement. As a warning, the store also sells some racial stereotype memorabilia which can be jarring to some shoppers. While it is important to maintain history, it may be more beneficial to have these items in a special area for those seeking them. Overall, Acme Antiques is a fun day if you're used to flea markets, antiquing or thrifting. It may be a bit more overwhelming for first time shoppers but you will not be bored. You could easily get lost and spend multiple hours here. I provided three stars due to the lack of organization in booths, questions of value and difficulties maneuvering around the booths .

As she teaches in person classes there I make the hike from northern VA to go to King George to support one of the few local bead stores left in the area. Woman-owned and now belonging to Terry's daughter Aubrey, this is a multigenerational bead store that I hope will continue to be a long time staple and gem to the area. I love all the variety of beads to include Czech, Austrian crystal, Chinese crystals, semiprecious gemstones beads, seed beads, findings and cabs, finished jewelry, trunk shows and kits this store has. Terry and Aubrey do a fantastic job of keeping the store well stocked and great customer service everytime I visit. Spend $300 and get 20 percent off a purchase of anything regular price in the store (not part of trunk shows). The classroom is on the smaller side but it means you have a much more time getting to know fellow students and more time with the instructor. I only wish I lived closer but my wallet would be a lot lighter if that were the case.

Tappahanock although a small town near the bay noticeably has charm and a smig of culture. As I was driving on Route 17, I noticed the bright colored flags flying in the wind outside this store. I actually drove by but the items on the front porch and colorful flags caught my attention & made me turn around. YIPPEE, glad I did. Oh where, oh where do I start?!? Jewelry by Waxing Poetic, calendars, appointment books, bottle holders key rings, etc. by Lilly Pulitzer, Lafco candles, serving-ware, napkins, house flags, sleep wear, make up bags, travel case, greeting cards and much more. I shopped for over an hour as there were upstairs, downstairs rooms and the front porch area that displayed a multitude of things to browse through. All the items on the front porch area were 50% off. Can you say BARGAIN!!!! Once I finally finished shopping, I could not believe the price I paid. I thought they had not charged me for all the items I selected and was a Happy Camper once the sales associate reported she had charged me for all items.
