Dr. Sporrer did a deep tissue massage on my back and sides and then Kayee, the physical therapist showed me a few simple exercises that I could do each day for about 5 minutes. The next day, I felt quite a bit better and everyday after my progress continued. In less than 2 weeks I felt great. He used cutting edge technology to have a custom device 3D printed for my knee. He wrote an order for a aftercare package of collagen strips and bandages for the wound, and a recumbent bicycle for immediate use after the surgery. The wound was closed with adhesive and the covered with a negative pressure (vacuum) bandage. The scar from the surgery is very minimal which reflects on the time he took closing it and the bandages he ordered. I am now 3 months post surgery and my physical therapists say I am ahead of their average patients in my recovery. The custom 3D device, surgery, bandages, and bike were all done within Medicare guidelines so my cost was very minimal. My son had Dr. Tessier do an ACL procedure on him and recommended him to me. I truly feel I hit the lottery when I chose him!! I thought that your doctor works for you and not the other way around. Then when you finally get there, you had to wait for more than 30 minutes, yet when you're 5-10 minutes late they cancel your appointment and tell you to set up another time which is two months from the day of your appointment. His staff are also unprofessional, the people at McDonalds have a better personality than this person that wears a scrub at the front desk. The only reason why I had chosen this place was Bc it's close to my house, but I think I might just go back to my old doctor in Summerwood, Dr. Castillo is a very good doctor and actually cares about his patients plus his staff are professional and kind. They're about 40 minutes away from Cypress but that's ok I'll drive there if I know I'll get a better service. I am currently sitting here waiting, my appointment is 10:45, it is now 11:13.
