I was locked out of my online account and had to call UCCU to resolve the issue. After waiting on hold, I finally spoke with a representative who asked nearly a dozen verification questions. Despite answering everything correctly, I was told I still had to visit a branch in person to unlock my account. I got an auto loan from a dealership and they signed me up for Utah Community Credit Union. I had no choice. I started making my monthly loan payments. Every once in a while, I would get a late notice and a late fee. It seemed impossible because I made my payments on time. I recently noticed that $2000 of my payments had been diverted into a savings account instead of going towards my loan. I didn't have a saving account, I only had an auto loan. So at 7.25% and getting late fees from me, and delaying my auto being paid off for months, it feels like a bit of a scam. Perhaps a LOT of a scam. How did my loan payments get put into a completely different account, while I got late fees and late notices. How much did i lose in their scheme? When I asked them to look into it, they didn't know how to backtrack and find which payments had been misdirected and how many fees I'd been charged? I'm sure the late notices negatively impacted my credit score too. I closed the savings, and will not do business with them ever again. read more

They always take so long in the drive through and the women that work there are so snobby and rude.

I have banked with Utah Federal Community Credit Union for a year and a half. In the last three months, I have had three checks that have not been accurately deposited or deposited at all. One has been credited to me, but the other two have not. I have attempted to resolve these issues with them, but they continue to assert to me that they never received any checks or deposits. The people that wrote the checks confirmed to me that the amounts were withdrawn from their banks and have sent me documentation. UCCU is dismissive, won't contact the other banks involved, and insists that I contact the other parties involved, which I have already done, but to no avail. They are not helpful and incompetent. read more

I have used this location once, but usually use online service now as I live in a location that does not have a branch office now. UCCU has been great to use as I have had them for most of my life. I usually use a Orem location, and have used an AF location to get a loan. The online side is very good and easy to use. Getting loans from UCCU is good as they do work with you and try to do the best for you. Interest rates are not bad. I have used many different banks and credit unions and UCCU is my favorite credit union so far and the best internet interface I have used. read more

Worthless. I have banked here for 6 years and they have seem to charge bad address fees like you would not believe. I have moved once and I am meticulous about updating everything so that I can always be contacted if I need to be. But uccu seems to charge a fee even if the local postman makes an error and sends something back. It is absolutely ridiculous to continually charge me for something not in my control. I spoke with Paula on the phone and I was told that I should "get over it" and "there is nothing we can do" then the woman hung up on me! I will be taking my money elsewhere and they have now lost a loyal customer. read more

Went to this location and everyone was ready to help and attentive to me-- maybe seems like a little bit of a slower branch so that's also nice to know so you can go there and possibly avoid a wait time.. but it also means that they are attentive to you and your needs. Love UCCU. read more

If i could give a zero, i would! Twice I have had to wait about an hour to sign a form they couldn't find. Even the assistant manager tried to find the form. Expectations of a credit union are that they would be organized and efficient, but they definitely are not. Then, the straw that broke this camel's back...They offer discounted Lagoon tickets, so while I was signing the form for my MOTHER, who is a member there, I tried to purchase a couple of tickets. My daughter is also listed on her account, but because my mother wasn't there and neither was my daughter (who is 8 years old), they would not let me purchase the discounted tickets! After an hour dealing with their form fiasco, you'd think they'd let me buy some tickets...they should have just given them to me for my mother's hassle. read more

My first loan ever. Over $10,000 ahead in my loan. I paid twice in a month and thought that the second payment would carry over. I guess not. They hit me with a late fee (I paid so they did not hit my credit... thank god). I called and they said that they couldn't care less that I was that far ahead. I will never take out another loan from this credit union. read more
