I was so sad when my pediatrician who is AMAZING, that I've been taking my kids to for the last 15 years left to serve a medical mission in Mexico. It left me searching for a new pediatrician. We were worried about possible seizures and wanted to talk to them about some sensory behaviors that my sons preschool had pointed out to me. We were experiencing it in kindergarten as well and didn't know where to turn for help. So I spent several hours reading reviews and choose based off what I had read to come to Utah Valley Pediatrics. We scheduled with a doctor who will remain un-named because this is not about him. He gave us a list of psychologists to test and work with my son on the sensory end. We have taken him to a psychologist and have been getting him help. With school starting the wearing of a mask is proving to be something thats too much for him. So I had the psychologist write a letter and took it to the school. I was told that my letter from the psychologist would not be sufficient to make my son exempt from wearing a mask. I was told that I had to get a signed form from a medical doctor. So I called Utah Valley Pediatrics office told them of my dilemma and told them I could bring in the letter from the psychologist and after 3 phone calls and checking and double checking I was told they have a COMPANY WIDE POLICY NOT to sign ANY mask exempt forms of any kind. Are you kidding me. They are the ones who gave me the list of psychologist to go to for help. If they can not do whats best for their patients on a patient by patient basis and make decisions based off the medical knowledge they have there is no way I'd ever trust them with any of my children. My 9mo old had RSV, I didn't officially know it but wanted to get a test done so I knew how to best help her. Dr Davis thought she had asthma and, even after hearing what I thought we should do (an RSV test), he strongly recommended we do an asthma test first. We did that. It was AWFUL. First of all, they had ME perform the test on her, they set up the test and left the room. I had to hold a breathing cup that was connected to a tube over her mouth for 7 minutes. She was screaming. The evening sun was blazing through the window so we were both sweaty and emotional. They didn't consider any of our comfort levels OR my mothers intuition. After that test came back negative, he then had her take an RSV test. It was a 2 second nose swab!!! WHY DIDNT HE DO THE SIMPLE TEST FIRST? Instead he put her through 7 minutes of h*** while she was feeling soooo sick, THEN he set aside his ego and did what I originally wanted. This happened nearly 6 years ago and when I think about it, I'm angry at him all over again for not going with my intuition. Don't trust him moms, he seems nice at first but has an ego that means more than the health of your child. read more

I have been taking my kids to see dr Anderson for 9 years and feel he is always up to date on his training and practices.

Dr. Caldwell has been my three kids pediatrician for almost 2 years, and she is so kind, so experienced, so empathetic, and more than anything she is as smart as a whip. She just caught an extremely rare autoimmune disorder in my nonverbal two-year-old after a five minute office visit. Even though she had never seen this rare disease before, she knew right away what to look for, and because of her insight and guidance, what would've been a horrifying emergency, became A well-managed cure. I can't say enough good things about this doctor and the whole clinic in general. I specially appreciate their partnerships with primary children's hospital and with Utah Valley Hospital and all of the labs and specialists associated with them. Even though we are on Medicaid, billing and payment have always been completely easy. read more

We were in Utah visiting when our son hit his head and was bleeding in a restaurant. 2 nurses from UVP who happened to be eating lunch at the same restaurant ran over and said "We're nurses and would be happy to assist" They concluded that he may need a few stitches. We live in CA and have Kaiser health insurance, which only works out of sate if you go the ER. We didn't feel this was necessary so decided to go to UVP where these wonderful nurses worked. The facility was clean, quick and very friendly. The doctors decided our son didn't need any stitches but, they cleaned his wound and offered him comfort when needed. We were very impressed by the kindness and generosity of everyone at this facility. Highly recommend! read more

Blah I'm nervous to post a good review for selfish reasons. I love Dr. Bradley Anderson and he is already popular enough. I don't want it to get even harder to get an app. Anyways, he listens to my questions, he gives science-based answers and takes me seriously. I love it when doctors explain why and not just prescribe medications. The nursing staff is always really friendly. Even when they are busy they try to get an extra nurse to give my twins vaccines at the same time. (Twin Moms out there, ya feel me!) The office could definitely use a refresh. Carpet in a doctors office is just gross. Also, I wish the paper covers for the tables were wider. I'm always cringing when my kids roll all over it for their exam. I don't want them to get sick! I do love that they have a scale in every room. That way you can stay in the room to have your children weighed. Also, they have a great nursing phone line, so I can chat with someone when I'm nervous about some symptom of my kids and unsure if I should bring them in. Overall, I'm pretty thrilled to have found this office. I really trust them with my children's care. read more

Dr. Peterson is the best pediatrician!!! The office is so nice everyone in there staff is amazing and so caring. We went to another Pedatrician for years before I got referred to utah valley. I can't say enough good about Dr. Peterson he is so kind and gentle with my children. I feel like he truly does care!! He listens to all concerns, and is so thorough when going over your child's treatment. There is always someone to take you call after hours and weekends!!! We took our son and daughter here yesterday on May 2nd, Initially it seemed like a great place. My daughter and son received a full physical which turned out good. But their was a nurse practitioner (male) who decided to take matters into his own hands without consent from us parents. My son was circumcised when he was born, and he has extra foreskin that "was" still attached around the rim of the head of his penis. Well this nurse decided to detach the foreskin by forcing it apart, which in turn ripped away from the head of my seventeen month olds penis. Then thought he would explain what to do after he injured my baby boy! This is unacceptable behavior from what is suppose to be a professional in this field. I'm awake at 1:34am with my son screeming in pain, because of this nurses incompetence. If you decide to take your children to this office, Please! Please! Please! Keep this nurse away from them! read more
