The treatment of their staff, students, the way they handle situations, and how they use their money. Just last week it came out that a music director at one of the high schools have been sending female students sexual emails for years, not only did he work at that high school but multiple in the district and MIDDLE schools. He got to resign, not fired but resign. They refuse to speak about it. Teachers have to protest for fair contracts. UCS is one of the top 15% districts in Michigan, if that were really true I'm petrified to see any district below it. I'm a graduate from one of their schools and have gone to 2 of their elementary schools, 1 of their middle schools, and 3 of their high schools. I have siblings at an elementary school different than one than either of the two I went to. Shit all around.

Went to the Halloween Bash at my grandson's elementary school. The children were kept inside and…read moresystematically the rooms emptied out and the kids paraded through the hallways in their costumes. OMG, I saw so many princesses, Thors, zombies it was so adorable. The teachers were really really patient with all the children. When you walked in you had to sign in and walk through the principals office - OMG brought back memories for me!!!! All in all I believe that the school district has improved throughout the years and the teachers just got more awesome!!! Good going Utica!

I love it because there is a actual pta and parents are involved and the teachers are very dedicated! I even worked in the district for a couple years and now I'm back and both my kids will proudly be graduating from UCS too!!!'

Here to see the play "High School Musical" Venue was quite large for a school auditorium. Seats…read morewere very comfortable and there was not a bad seats in the house, as the seating was designed in an elevated stagered design. The stage was large, almost as a professional theatre. Parking was ample and we'll lighted. Restrooms were sparkling clean. There were vending drinks and snacks available along with homade cookies and a variety of other goodies provided by the boosters for purchasing.
