Horrible NO service- needed a simple part for my Yanmar engine stopped in and the old guy said he was too busy to get it for me. I could not believe the arrogance and dismissive attitude of this employee or owner. The guy we inside and told the older lady that he was too busy for anymore customer questions- l lost my cool at this point and let this guy know what I thought. If you can spend your money elsewhere they deserve it-Again I cannot believe the lack of customer service this employee exhibited and should be fired read more

Met up with my dad at Utsch's in the summer of COVID, when he brought his boat up from down south. The marina was well cared for and all of the facilities and amenities for boat owners were very clean. read more

Let me say this if you need engine and ships's service in a pinch you could not be more lucky then to have it done here. We suffered a thru hull failure on a delivery boat right at quitting time on a bc Friday. No protests. Rig ht into the travel lift and got blocked. Saturday, the ngext day 8 am sharp the mechanics went to work on see what we saw were multiple electrolosis issues. Excellent work at reasonable prices. The facility was clean, bathrooms were very nice, ships store well stocked and fair and close to good restsurants. Best disel prices, no electric surcharge and best transient rates. Became my favorite stopover in Cape May. Great staff. read more

Utsch's Marina is as good as a marina can possibly get. I pulled in out of the ocean delivering a 22' sailboat from NYC to Annapolis to escape some very bad weather in the Atlantic. With 10 minutes notice Utsch's got me a transient slip for a week. I explained that my 22'Cape Cod Catboat does not maneuver well under power, especially in close quarters. I was told not to worry and that there would be folks to help me as soon as I pulled in. True to their word, I had plenty of help from the staff with dock lines. They eased me up to the fuel dock so I could top off my tanks and then very considerately helped pull me into a slip that easy to access, even with my limited steerage. The following week, the boat was in perfect shape and the ships store at Utsch's had every last bit of hardware that I needed to make repairs after the storm. Everyone was super friendly and helpful right from initial call to my departure a week later for Annapolis. I highly recommend Utsch's and if I lived in the area, I would definitely use them all year. I only wish all marinas were that good. read more

We've been through here twice now and both times they make you feel like family. They go out of their way to help and take care of amenities like showers, water, fuel, etc. even off season. Cape May is also a great place to be stuck by storms. read more

My family and I bought tickets on Groupon. Apparently when you buy them through Groupon children under 6 ride free, is no longer applicable. That will be $12/child. The 7 adults had a 1 year old, 2 year old and 2 (3) year olds. I said, "$12 even for the 1 year old?" Response, "that's correct." This bait and switch should have been a red flag but my grandsons were already told that we were off to see dolphins so, off we went. Not allowed to bring your own water on board, so sorry but we'd be happy to sell you one for $2. Barely out to sea when we were told we were not allowed to hold our small children. Their feet MUST be on the ground. Huh? They can't see over the rail! Staff definitely did NOT like having small children aboard! If you are thinking of bringing children to see wildlife, I would recommend skipping these folks and going to the FREE Cape May Zoo! MUCH better experience for sure! There are very few Marinas for larger boats in this area. Two to be exact. This one is a reasonable value if you consider $2.00 per foot a deal. They give you a nice welcome package with info on the area, nice biscotti's and a bottle of red wine! Nice touch! More than what most provide. The slips are floating docks and offer fuel and pumpout services. The laundry and washrooms are very nice! The Marina offers fair wi-fi depending on your slip location, cable tv, and electric. The have two travel lifts for haul outs. If you need parts, they offer a small parts department too. There is a West Marine not far away if more parts are needed. The Marina is a short walk to a trolley stop that takes you downtown and to the beach area. Good services are offered there, grocery store, shops, liquor store, etc. Overall a good stop. When approaching this marina be careful to hug the bulkhead wall at the entrance, it is a very shallow entrance, especially at low tide.Compared to most in this area and north of here, this is a good marina, would definitely stay here again. read more
