She and the acupuncturist will work on Saturdays by appointment only even though the establishment is officially closed. Call well ahead as she is busy. I have not tried any of the other services here but I wouldn't hesitate to. Everyone I have encountered has been very professional and very friendly. I noticed that they sell supplements and various organic products but have yet to buy anything. I also really enjoy the warmth and coziness of this establishment. It is a 2 story house that has been transformed into a business. It has been renovated nicely keeping the old character of the house adding to that coziness.

After that I received 5 emails from Red Leaf Wellness. The first one was to confirm my appointment and I think that's fair and completely standard for business. The second was an email about the scheduling, the third was to confirm the confirmation I had made by a) making the appointment and b) by confirming the first email, the fourth email was a reminder emailing about my appointment, the fifth email was to get me to sign up for their patient records and fill out the intake forms. If your still with me after all that confusion with emails and annoyance of all the emails there is more! This is all one day after making my online booking for a week and half from now. Then after the emails I received a phone call from the office to tell me about the emails and that I haven't completed them. A few minutes later I received a text message about my appointment. I did not agree to text messages or emails but clearly that doesn't matter. I was also told I would need to provide a credit card so that if there was a last minute cancellation or a no show they would charge me. I understand this is for the protection of your business, but I haven't even walked in the door and you want my credit card. I'm trusting complete strangers based on their website with my well being, but after 5 harassing emails and a phone call to inform me I haven't completed your forms, I'm then told you require a credit card?? I'm supposed to trust you with my personal information, but you can't trust me for my first appointment? I canceled my appointment, and when asked if I want to rebook I said no. I was speaking with one of the two practitioners who runs this business. I would think when I said no there would have been more of a conversation about why I was cancelling. Oh well. Here's my review. I will find some where else to have acupuncture done.

I decided to see Dr. Lena Kim, because she has good credentials, and her office is located on 124th street, so it was easy for me to get there. It's not cheap to see a naturopath. I can't quite remember how much my visit was, but the first time must have cost me over a $100--this is for a 55 minute session. Any visit after that is around $60, and they do give student discounts. Before I went, I had to fill out quite a few pages of paperwork about my medical history. When I met Lena Kim she was really nice. I really got the sense that she was interested in helping me. She didn't just want to prescribe me something or tell me to take something. She was genuinely concerned and motivated to help me feel better. After we spoke, and she got a sense of what my needs were, she did a number of muscle testings on me. I didn't know what this was, and I felt rather odd and skeptical, while she was doing it. First, she had me hold my arm straight out. Then she had me hold jars with different herbs in them. For each jar, she would press on my arm. The idea is that if I could resist the pressure, my body needs the herb. If I cannot resist the pressure, my body doesn't need it or is allergic to it. After the testing she gave me a sheet of paper with all the things I need to eat or take and when I need to take them. She had some suggestions of some vitamins and herbs I should buy from her. She was really sensitive to the fact that I didn't have a lot of money, so she suggest I just buy one or two, and she even suggested places I could get some of the things cheaper! She also gave me many print-outs, like on skin brushing and deep breathing, that were really helpful. Her suggestions really did help a lot, but unfortunately I didn't have the money to keep seeing her. When I can afford it again though, I will definitely go back.

I noted on my previous review about the thin walls and the noise. During this session, there was none so i thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, pearl introduced me to cupping. To be honest i am not interested about it at all, when i see pictures of friends who have done it, it seems painful but pearl did a good job for a "beginner" like me. I did not feel overwhelmed. It was not painful even days after. It obviously left marks on my back but i did not mind it, i did not feel anything like as if the marks were not there at all. I already scheduled my next session. (Lucky to have a company health insurance which covers 90% of the fee)

After two sessions this week he suggested I get a massage (as I hadn't had one for a "few" years). I had a knot in my lower back that just wouldn't listen to his care. So Wednesday morning I called into their office and got in to see Keziah that afternoon. OH MY GOD!! She was awesome!!! Although Dr Fleck recommended all the massage therapists in his office, I was able to get her in short notice. It was the best deep tissue massage I ever had and she knew exactly how much pressure to apply. Where to apply it and for how long. I was able to dance my way out of the office that afternoon and still moving perfectly today. Because of Keziah I'll be able to golf on Friday with no concerns. So if anyone wants a recommendation for a massage therapist contact Baseline Chiropractic and Wellness Center and asked for Keziah Ragui. And a recommendation for a chiropractor would be Dr. Fleck. The office is in a new complex so it looks awesome and they always keep it clean. It's a friendly atmosphere to walk into and the comfort feeling is definitely strong. I can't say I have used any other services such as acupuncture, massage or nutritionist but it is a nice option to have all in the same place.

Not a huge fan of acupuncture (bad experiences before) but for some bewildering reason I respond really well to IMS treatment like dry needling (Like the old Buckleys commercial "it hurts, and it works") Most of the time I go for needles it basically fixes my muscle issues like the next day (unless it's really bad maybe another treatment or 2) Man I'd be so messed up without this as a last resort when chiropractic or massage attempts fail to bring relief (the cons of being hyper flexible lol...) Coupled with some cupping therapy, heat packs and mobility stretching, they guide me back to my normal active disposition ‍ ‍ Highly recommend

To his credit, the owner was friendly and appeared knowledgeable while doing his assessment on me. However, the service all fell apart when he then delegated the work to his assistants-a collection of apathetic, 20 something undergrads who cared less about care than rushing though a demonstration exercise so that they can get back to their social media. The 'sweatshop' atmosphere of the therapist working with 15-20 patients simultaneously, didn't exactly put me at ease of getting hands on quality care. I also understood that the most important part of recovery was to do the recommended exercises prescribed by the care-provider independently. However, the generic exercises he gave me to do at home appeared to aggravate my injuries further. When I attempted to contact the therapist by phone to ask for guidance, I was told he would get back to me ASAP. He called 2 weeks after my initial call. By then, I was already involved with MOMENTUM Physiotherapy recovering nicely(See my review). To sum up, my experience was awful in that instead of receiving care for my injury, I was being processed like a piece of meat going through an assembly line, where squeezing as many people into a workspace supersedes actual care.

Dr. Wash is an amazing doctor. He always remembers our conversations, he asks me about school and, of course, he is brilliant when it comes to medical problems. I found it hard in the past to find a doctor that I can trust completely and that I feel comfortable around, but then I found Dr. Wash and I'm still happy as can be with him. I can't stress enough what a great clinic this is. If I need to get in to see a doctor and Dr. Wash isn't available or a couple days, they let me see someone else (if I'm comfortable with it). I've seen Dr. Haubrich here as well and he is also a great doctor. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a great family doctor that they can count on.

When I woke up a…read morecouple weeks ago with the "I'm on a boat" feeling (even though I wasn't on a boat) I thought I'd call around to see if I could get into see a doctor. I called the Smyth Clinic and was told I could only get in if I got one of their doctors to be my family doctor. This was okay with me because I don't have a family doctor. I got into see Dr. Smyth that afternoon and got a prescription for my vertigo (which subsided in a few days). Only issue I had was the receptionists. Obviously, with Covid there's a plastic partition and everyone is wearing masks so it is hard to hear, but I stood and line and couldn't hear anyone say "come up" or "next person" or anything like that. The receptionist seemed annoyed that I didn't come up, but it wasn't obvious that I could/should. But the visit with the doctor went well and I'm glad I have a family doctor I can go to now.
