I literally checked the store hours before heading over, a 17 minute ride to go to a closed store. Google search which is fast and reliable. They were dependable and reliable up until now. They are the only establishment under 30 minutes from my home that sells what I needed. Item is reasonably priced even though more expensive than Home Depot. Here again, giving my business to them!! These hardware stores are closing due to these competitors, yet they have no concern for the folks who chose them over the big box stores. Why would you go from convenient hours of 8a-6p for people who work. NOW, they are open weekdays for people who don't work!!! 9-5 known business hours yet they will be open for those who: a. Live local b. Work local c. People who don't work. I do not have the time to wait until Saturday for my need. I can order it in line and get it by Friday! Their website says "give us a call" number says person not available and beeps! So is that your number or is it not? Guessing games not my thing. This is the reason these types of stores are closing.

They returned it, cab in pieces, with a 3 missing fiberglass rods to hold the shape of the cab. There was no reason that it needed to be removed from the blower, and if so, just take off the assembly, or they could have mentioned it on pickup, and I would have removed the cab (4 set screws).

I posted this review on Google services at that time figuring I'd wait for them to respond before putting anything up on Yelp. Well, I was disappointed again. No reaction from them. They just don't care. So, please read through this before deciding to go there and it will give you a good idea of what to expect from them: I will never use this shop again for any Kubota or Stihl purchase or service. I was so upset by these people that I had to wait a month before writing this review just to give it a fair chance after calming down. My Kubota BX22 was in need of some routine service to get ready for Spring so I figured Wescott's (especially since it's now an MB shop) would be the place. It originally came from there many years ago, and I wanted someone familiar with the old model to go through it and tune it up. As expected they found a few hydraulic leaks in the lift cylinders and the front gear case, and they took care of that quickly since they had all the parts on hand. I was pleased that they did all that with no big delay. I paid extra for them to pick up and deliver, but I figured it was worth it since they were so quick and efficient. I stopped in there a few days later to thank them for the job well done and even bought a new Stihl chain saw while there. The Farm Boss was a good find, and I expected a little break on the price since it was "Stihl Dealer Days", but the sales guy said they don't really participate since they are so hard to get right now. Oh well. No sooner did I have the saw in my hands and paid for that he brushed me off for another client who walked in. I should have known then what kind of shop it was. So a few days later I was getting some work in with the tractor on muddy ground and became totally stuck. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't get out until I noticed the front drive shaft turning, but the front wheels weren't. The shaft had backed out of the coupling. Seems the pin through the coupling that should also be through the shaft did not go through the shaft when they put it back together. Now the tines of the shaft were buggered up and I couldn't reseat it. Had to remove the shaft completely to fix, but I was pissed now. How can they put this back together like that? The service mechanic was obviously not paying attention or he would have known the shaft needed to have the hole aligned to the hole in the coupling before putting in the pin. So I brought it all back up to Wescott and spoke with the service manager, Doug. He agreed it was done wrong and then all he had to say was, "Oh well. I guess he (the mechanic) was just human." Just a simple mistake?? That's all? No, it was just lazy, inattentive work. He cleaned up the spline of the shaft for me so it would now fit back into the coupling and said that's all they can do. So, now with this, and the lack of attention from the sales guy on the Stihl saw, I have a pretty good idea of what kind of dealership this is. If you're not one of their large commercial or farm accounts you're bothering them. I cannot stress more that this lack of service and caring is cause to stay away from there at all costs. If you're a homeowner or small farmer and figure that you'd like to give your business to a smaller shop instead of one of those big building supply places, look somewhere else. They just don't have time for you. They're not worth the trouble. Yea, I gave them 2 stars. It should be 1 star, but I gave them credit for having stock on hand. Never again. I'll either go to a REAL MB Tractor or to any other local Stihl dealer for any of those needs. I'm looking to upgrade to a new B26 next year, but you can bet I won't be going anywhere near them. Funny thing is, I told them that before all this and they still didn't care.

Abbott is an extremely dishonest company…read more Don't bring your toys to get work done here - had them rebuild a track that I busted (clearing logging roads of trees, got stuck during the winter) last year for a little over $1700, two months after getting it back, and only 2 short quick rides (maybe 6 miles tops) - the same track they "fixed" broke in half because they didn't check over their work. This happened in my field - they tried to say a "rock" did this to justify not holding themselves accountable. I had a mechanic come look - definitely on them. At first they tried to warranty it last spring to avoid responsibility, 8 months went by, no word, then when I kept bugging them they said it was ready - at the beginning of this winter. When I got it back I was missing multiple covers on the track hubs, an extra 150 miles was put on my machine (seems to be par for the course) & a nice bill for $2700 was sitting on the dash. I never confirmed I'd pay for the work. I never received calls to tell me they didn't warranty it. I spent close to the price of a whole brand new set of tracks at the end of this. Dishonest company. Put about $100k through them over the past 5 years in machine purchases & maintenance work - say goodbye to one of your cash cows. This will be the last easy money you take from us. This is 100% how you ruin your name & business reputation in the surrounding community.
