Personally I find their stuff a little boring for my tastes, but you can get some nice tailored workwear in there which could be worn by any age group. They also give 10% student discount like all of the Arcadia group stores and they have some decent promotional events where they give 20% off everything. It's not really a shop that I would rush to for a party outfit or whatever, but if you're looking for decent quality well-fitting trousers, shirts or suits, then it is the place to go.

This branch of Primark is a fairly large branch of the "discount" fashion retailer, and it is one…read moreof two branches of the chain I visited during my trip to Newcastle and the North East of England in the Summer of 2017, this branch is a decent branch, albeit slightly smaller than my local store in Manchester, I did prefer it compared to Manchester, but still this branch isn't fantastic and is probably only the second best in the region, behind the branch at the intu Metrocentre in Gateshead. This store is located on Northumberland Street in a fairly decent location in the city centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne. The store is over four floors, with Women's on the Ground Floor, Mens in the "Basement" and a Costa Coffee store with the Kids range and Customer Services on the upper/second floor. The staff around the store seemed average, perhaps less helpful than other branches, however. A decent store in a decent location - hence the reason I'm struggling to rate this place, yet sadly due to some slight issues with product range, slight issues with service not being as good as other Primark branches and issues with the overall feel of the store in parts, the lifts also were an issue for me, I feel this store only deserves a medium to high two-star rating at best.

It opened in 2012 to replace the old BHS and it has proven popular with Newcastle because it's always jam packed. The basement has the menswear department which is pretty large. I can always find something I like on this floor. The ground and first floors are both taken up by the womenswear but the second floor has the amazing Primark home section, accessories and a Costa, which you can head to if you want to escape the crowds of the main store. Even though it does get VERY packed, the store is very spacious, so it doesn't really feel busy. The escalator arrangement is complete and utter pants. You have to go to the other side of the store to get to the next one in the set, what rubbish! Also the elevators (even though there is lots of them) feel like they are always flooded with people. It has a good layout, it is pretty generous in size, mens department is big and it has a coffee shop, so what is not to like about Primark Newcastle?

It is a mid sized store, quite narrow so can be difficult to negotiate on a busy Saturday and especially challenging with a pushchair. The range of clothing is good, but aimed primarily at a youthful market and those with more money to spend than the average. Value for money is average as prices are quite high but quality is in general quite good and the clothes are very attractive. It has a mix of high fashion items and more classic pieces but they have a really lovely range of cocktail type dresses.

The only criticism that I have is the fact that the prices are too high and do not reflect the quality of clothing that you receive. The clothes are of good quality and comprise some classic pieces such as smart trousers to more high fashion items. As for location, this store could not be in a better place. Located in the centre of town, right next to Eldon Square shopping centre, close to all public transport from buses to Metros, it could not be easier to get to. Because it is on two floors, it could be difficult for the less able to get access.

The clothes are of exceptional quality, however that is just the tip of the iceberg, they also sell a massive range of wools and patterns as well as habberdashery. All VERY close together so it is easy to find something in a different size if the shop you're in does not have one. Warehouse is quite expensive to me, although I generally quite like their tailored looks and lace this season I find £50 min for a dress quite pricey so generally shop in sales here which are quite good and they have some great reductions. Warehouse does not do shoes apart from flip flops in summer. They stock a nice range on jewellery and often reduce it all to a pound in the sakes. I've always found the staff to be very helpful and polite and always offer advice if you need it.

In Warehouse I find I can easily find well priced clothing which will suit both daily wearing and more dressy occassions. This is not one of the bigger branches of Warehouse but the choice and stock levels have always seemed good. You will also find accessories to complement you clothing purchases in the form of bags and necklaces. Student discount is also offered here.

Downstairs we have the childrens clothes section where they have a nice range of clothes for both boys and girls from new born up to 8 yrs old. They also have a small selection of shoes as well. Upstairs you have the likes of cots, toys and high chairs as well as a childs changing facility. The range is not the nest but on the plus side you can order anything within the catalogue to arrive insore. The staff are very helpful and the clothes I find are a bit on the expensive side.

Benneton has never really been my favourite shop as I think it's a bit pricey. Love the bright…read morecolours when you go in for a look around. Nice to see they do a wider range of clothes now. My daughter got some lovely jeans in the sale.
