I bought my home about two years ago and have been focusing on interior work like painting and floor refinishing. The front yard, while mowed as much as possible, was a complete mess: overgrown with weeds and random flowers planted by the previous owners, three bushes/trees in the front of the house (one a Japanese Maple that would eventually destroy the yard with its size and roots), and random above-ground garden beds that were rotting. I had no idea where to even begin on how to make my yard look better. Enter Jo and VaceTime. He came to my house and did a thorough consultation, listening to my goals while also suggesting ways to improve them. He sent me a design idea within a few days and maintained incredible communication throughout the process. Prior to doing the work, he responded to my questions very quickly and assisted me when I changed my mind about my end goals. All the while he was so friendly and most of all, patient, with me as I asked a lot of questions and made a few changes with what I wanted to do with the yard. He kept to the scheduled date for the work and did an absolutely phenomenal job. I wish I had taken before pictures to show how truly terrible my yard looked. He removed the Japanese Maple tree that was between two front bushes, trimmed the remaining plants, weeded the entire area, planted flowers, built the white stone pathway, edged the front sloped part of the yard, and mulched the entire area. The price felt very reasonable as well. I am beyond happy with the final results! I've attached some pictures. I give VaceTime my highest recommendation. I've received quotes for work from many contractors in the past and had various work done on my house, and none of the companies I've dealt with were as friendly, patient, and thorough as VaceTime. I hired Jovace for a small patio project. It is extremely hard to find a reasonably priced and attentive vendor who services the Philly area with small projects (such as mine). I am not an outdoor person so asked for a revamp to my patio that would require low maintenance and would deter Lanternflies(). We needed to get our yard cleaned up for Spring - or so I thought. I just wanted some weeding done, plants cut back and maybe some of the every-annoying English Ivy chopped off. Their representative arrived promptly at the appointed time, (even waited patiently a few minutes while I finished up a work phone call), then we went to look at my backyard. I was embarrassed by how overgrown we'd let it become but the very professional and personable young man was kind and understanding. Then, he did something pretty amazing -- after a thorough walk through, he told me I had a much bigger issue than a much-needed clean-up. I had a pervasive ivy problem that had to be dealt with first. It was everywhere and entrenched. I'd noticed that, of course, but hadn't realized just how big a problem I had. The amazing part? I was waiting for him to lower to boom and add a few zeros to the estimate he'd given me pre-visit based on pics I'd forwarded. Instead, he advised I really needed to get the ivy removed first or his work would be completely unsatisfying to me in the end. And he didn't want that. He wanted me to be happy with the end result of his company's work. I can't wait to get VaceTime back to get started on my general gardening work once the ivy is removed. I have paid $40 a mow every two weeks for the last 2 years. I unfortunately did not confirm with my team and they are booked. I started to gather new quotes today. Most coming in at $45-$50 for every two weeks. So imagine my surprise when VaceTime quoted $150-$200. I explained what Are used to pay to give him a better idea of the size of my yard in addition to my address so he could do do diligence and drive-by but instead this is what I got. I never received a quote, a follow-up phone call nothing, even after calling again. Was my job too small? Was the distance too far? No problem just say something! I was very impressed with Vacetime from the beginning of the process. He came to my home very professionally. Gave me a quote for the work he would be doing (mounting my tv to the wall). With his explanation, he explained why the price was what it was versus how others just say a random price. He came at the agreed upon time and got right to work.
