It was my first time shopping in a Mexican grocery store, and I was genuinely surprised by how modern it was and how abundant the selection felt. The store offered more fresh items than many grocery stores in the U.S.--and this was during the peak of the so-called "egg shortage." I snapped a few photos along the way. A couple of takeaways stood out. I bought a small stick of butter that was unlike anything I'd regularly experienced in the States--the flavor and the way it melted were noticeably better. I also picked up a few heads of lettuce that were incredibly fresh and crisp, complete with the roots still attached. Honestly, if I were back home, I could've planted them again. All in all, if you're in Cabo and need a grocery store but don't want to drive all the way to Walmart, this spot has everything you need and is very comparable to any grocery store in the United States.

It's got everything you need: good quality produce, deli, bakery, wines, beer, spirits and specialty products. The produce section is beautiful, and large selection - we always get amazing papayas, little guavas, avocados, little Mexican limes, mangos, watermelon, berries, peppers and red onions for fajitas, and some grapefruits for palomas. We love the deli - always get delicious guacamole, homemade pico de gallo chips, homemade beans and rice - you pick the size of container; the salsa and guac, you scoop up yourself; they weigh it for you. Very reasonably priced. They have pre-made items that are very good, too, shrimp ceviche, fish cevich, pork verde or rojo, chilaquiles, etc. The bakery is amazing. The whole area smells like freshly baked bread. We tried a loaf of bread, flakey croissants, and fruit and cream-filled pastries; plus some fresh ding-dong like chocolate cakes. The cold brew near the front of the store was really good, too. 10 servings per bottle, just add water to taste and milk of choice. Love this grocery store, and plan on more visits!

This has become a must-stop for me whenever I'm in Cabo, and it's just a fun place to browse. There's a little food court type setup at the entrance where you can get fresh and hot Mexican food, coffee, and desserts. Check out the bakery for yummy local pastries and cakes (and fresh tortillas)! The wine and booze selection is great (but don't come looking for specialty or high end tequilas, they mostly carry big name brands), as are the giant cooler fridges with all sorts of grab and go beer, water, and sodas. This place has it all, from household items, clothing, tourist souvenirs, makeup, cleaning products, fresh meats and cheeses, and more. The last time I was here, I bought a set of gorgeous crystal champagne glasses that were on the 75% off clearance table! This is a terrific stop if you want some authentic Mexican hot sauces or snacks, and prices are fair. The employees have always been friendly too, and the shopping experience is so pleasant. Check this supermarket out, you won't be disappointed.

This has that same exact feel, and if you are staying in town and are looking to load up on groceries, this is absolutely the place. A huge selection of baked goods is a pleasant surprise, but this supermarket literally has all of the fruits, vegetables, meats, beverages, and everything that you are looking for if you are going to be cooking at home or even building an inventory of snacks. And, a wide selection of spirits, liquors, wines, and beers tops it all off. This is located in a very nice shopping mall, and there is a parking garage attached directly to it. I got home and found that it was an oral inhaler. I went back to the store and they refused to give me a refund because I had opened the box. But how would I know it was the wrong kind of inhaler without opening the box? If the pharmacist didn't know without looking, how the hell would I? I told them this, they still would not refund me. They told me that I would have had to not open the box. So I guess I need to be able to read the box better than their pharmacist.

Came here to get souvenirs for people back home. Wound up spending more than I wanted to ($120 American) but got tons of stuff. Coffee Mugs, magnets, bottle openers, Mexican vanilla, hot sauce, childrens tylenol. They have it all here. It's your typical Walmart in the states, just down here in Cabo. Best thing I got here though were Mexican Nacho Cheese Doritos. They were so damn good! Different than American. Thicker chip, more cheese and a hint of jalapeno. Delicious! Highly recommended if you are on a cruise and want to do some shopping. Its walkable (depending on how hot and humid it is outside) from the port, or a short taxi ride.

They also have a great deli with fresh tortillas, a huge wine section, a bakery, an espresso cafe', fresh fish and seafood, fresh produce, and anything else you might want to eat. Definitely our goto place. The location is on the corridor so more convenient than Chedraui or La Comer. Will give Walmart and Costco some competition for sure.

The layout is massive and the store is broken up into sections that range from beauty supply and cosmetics to clothing, electronics, seafood, and a specialty courtyard experience. Cedraui is a chef's dream and takes buying groceries to a whole new level. There is a mechanical wine bar so you can enjoy a glass of wine as you select from the vast varieties of specialty cheeses, rustic breads, fine wines, tequilas, refrigerated produce, or even ready made foods. Cedraui offers guests comfortable seating, big screen televisions and excellent customer service and I saw a group of gentlemen just hanging out watching sports on TV in the air conditioned food court. When the mercury rises this is the place to go. I am excited to have so many shopping choices in San José del Cabo.
