The price vary from $80-$100, depends what kind of massage you request. What I needed was deep tissue massage for my back and each session lasted for an hour. The atmosphere is quite lovely and calm, which help you to relax a lot. I like Flo cause she's very attentive. She actually pay attention to what you say and understand your needs. Every movement she does, she will educated you to help you understand better what it does for you. After several sessions with her, I can see a big difference with my back. Of course the pain didn't go away instantly but because of all the sessions, I can feel my back is getting better and stronger. In addition to traditional deep tissue, she also does Fascial Stretch Therapy, which was developed for the US Olympic team and involves a combination of deep stretching and massage. I leave each session much looser and flexible. Flo helps open up your posture and releases so much tension. Now that I've seen Flo for multiple sessions, the progress builds upon each previous session - the chronic pain and tightness that I've lived with for years has improved dramatically. It's also worth saying that she's so pleasant and thoughtful to work with, and she takes the time every session to ask about how you're feeling and what you want to focus on. I quickly came to appreciate that her natural gifts as a healer, combined with her eclectic and in-depth training as a psycho-somatic practitioner, far exceeded the realm of "body work." She works empathically with her voice as well as her hands, and has a knack for honing in on the root causes of where I'm feeling ungrounded or seeking greater balance. My initial 20 minute session quickly turned into hour-long weekly sessions -- made possible by her extremely reasonable hourly fee. I've heard it said that "the issue's in the tissue." I love that. And truly, I'm amazed at how skilled Amanda has been in honing in on several stubbornly held beliefs I've held that seem to lead directly to restrictive somatic patterning, aka stuck places, in my body. Within only a couple of weeks I noticed myself feeling less rigid in my posture, less anxious throughout the day, and more effortlessly relaxed and alert - basically, less in my head and more in my body. So nice! I know this seems like a hyperbolic review, but as a psychologist with a long-standing interest in exploring Eastern and Western approaches to healing, I've come into contact with a wide variety of healing practitioners over the years, and come away underwhelmed by many. In any event, I was in a bad way with a knee problem that surfaced a little while after stopping dance class (go figure). The problem was getting worse the longer I rested it. I tried Gramberg simply because she works out of the same building I'm in, and I was panicking over the state of things and wanted to see someone right away. To make a longer story not so long, my knee immediately and dramatically responded. Very hard for me to see it as a coincidence. I've never had that dramatic response after seeing a body worker before. I've since seen her twice more, both times with good results. She's a warm, thoughtful, intellectual practitioner with a very good touch. I could not recommend her more.
