We switched from a fancy private preschool to this in home daycare for our 2 toddlers just over 1 year ago. I cannot express how much relief I felt as a parent knowing that my kids were actually paid attention to and their individual needs addressed. This was by far an upgrade for us. This family owned business really makes your kids part of their family and loves on them like they are their own. My daughter is off to TK so her last day was today, but my son is still at this daycare. We love the food provided for our kids, even getting my picky daughter to experiment with some new foods. The communication and pictures that Valerie sends throughout the day was a huge importance to me, I really felt at ease seeing the kids happy. Also, she went through potty training with my son who had SO many accidents but she was so supportive and patient (definitely more so than I was lol). Highly recommend it here

Fast forward to now, I was always surprised with what he learned from school. He just turned 4 and he can read a little bit of 3 letter words and simple adding. He really liked his teachers and made friends. The staff have been so accommodating to our family's schedule as we had to stop school here and there and change days. They are super easy to work with and understanding. I would definitely recommend having your kids attend this school. The tuition is also very reasonable compared to other schools.

We wanted him to take his next steps with learning and experience things beyond what we could offer him at home. He got exactly that and then some. His teachers did a fantastic job getting him through the Pre-K and TK curricula; we still have a lot of his old school work showing how much he had learned and how much practice he had gotten. He would frequently speak fondly of his last teacher, Ms. Jackie, as well as the friends he played with at school. There was a classmate he would refer to as "Melon" that we think was his best friend and we thought it was so cute. We'd like to give our thanks to all of his teachers - Ms. Jackie, Ms. Emily, Ms. Nikki, and Ms. Bella! He really enjoyed the variety of extra curricular activities offered at Newport Ave, like dance, music, soccer (his favorite), arts and crafts, and taekwondo (his other favorite). As parents, some of our favorite things include the winter holiday performances, the picture updates on Remind showing what everyone is up to throughout the day, and the final letters from all the teachers he had connected with over the years. Ms. Mayra was a pleasure to talk to when dropping him off in the morning, as were the other teachers when picking him up at the gate. Communication over the Remind app is super simple and responses tend to be very quick. Since starting kindergarten, Nate has become a top performer in his class, and we believe Newport Ave Preschool deserves a great deal of the credit for that. We're so grateful for everything this school gave him.

But our son has been there almost a year now, and he has thrived since he has been in Marjan and Ms. Niharika's care. 1. The moment we toured Paradise Kids we loved the cozy, clean room and outside play area. We happened to visit at lunch, and 7 kids were eating calmly and happily looking at us, 4 in high chairs. How?? Are they magicians? I was very impressed with the care each one was receiving and clearly there was a great routine in place for so many kids to be orderly. 2. And speaking of lunch, all meals are nutritious and prepared by the caregivers. They are offered lots of fruits and vegetables with different proteins. My son lovesss eating there. One downside is that my bland cooking is no match for the food at daycare so I've had to step it up at home. 3. We toured several OC daycares and went with an in-home daycare because we wanted a smaller facility. We were told by our friends that when our son starts daycare we should expect him to be sick all the time. He has been sick a few times but nothing serious and definitely not often. I attribute it to the small number of toddlers and Marjan's clean home (and his regular vaccines of course). As I said before, my son is thriving and loves seeing his friends and teachers. It wasn't my choice to send him so young, but as it is I am so thankful for Marjan and Ms. Niharika for treating him with so much love and care. I highly recommend Paradise Kids if you're in need of a great daycare!

We got to tour and speak with the owner, Ms. Marjan, and quickly came to peace of mind when we saw the set up and the kids + Ms. Marjan and Ms. Niharika, her associate, interacting with each other in the backyard during playtime. Safety (and trust) was of course our number one priority, but beyond that, Ms. Marjan sealed the deal with the wealth of information she shared on how she runs her in-home daycare. We left the meeting/tour feeling like there were no unanswered questions, and confident that our son would be in the best care between Ms. Marjan and Ms. Niharika. Throughout our time together, Ms. Marjan was flexible, understanding and attentive to details/a great listener. Accommodations were made to adhere to Luca's specific dietary needs, and we knew from Luca's afternoon bowel movements that he was chowing down his daycare provided meals (mostly organic and all homemade!). Though our time was short, we're so lucky to have found this gem - organized and structured, but also with lots of room and encouragement for creativity, which allowed our son to grow and thrive! Paradise Kids is truly a paradise, and we feel everything was done in the best interest of our little boy. He has made new friends, flourished in his milestones - walking and talking, and created priceless memories here. We thank Ms. Marjan, Ms. Niharika, and the whole Paradise Kids family for helping shape the special little person that he is today, and for truly making us feel like an extension of this family.

Final review for this location. I recently transferred my…read moreson to a different location. It was an easy decision to make after the lack of communication the staff had with dad and I and amongst themselves on multiple occasions. I do wish the team at this location had more communication with one another and better training in urgent situations. Overall my son got multiple bite marks in his early years here, a cracked elbow, and most recently 5 stitches to his chin after being pushed by another child during play time. Accidents do happen but the way incidents always got minimized or met with lack of urgency and reports hardly matched what was described verbally is what really sucked. I did have some teachers who I liked and really liked that it was Spanish and English being taught at times. But overall I wouldn't recommend this location to family or friends. There's room for improvement and accountability at this location.

Teachers were all very sweet and accommodating, she comes home singing new songs and dances. They provide lunch and snacks so I didn't have to pack, which was great. She usually comes home with a new hairstyle nearly everyday, which is amazing since she would never sit still long enough for me to do her hair, it takes some serious skills and patience to do her hair as well as her teachers did, thank you. Cons: there really isn't much. Most notably though being the camera. It was a big selling point for me, but the images often are very blurry, could hardly make out which one is my child, has to put colorful bows in her hair just to pick her out from the crowd. Even then, can't really tell whether she's laughing, upset. Just a blurry figure. Another cons being that they consolidate the classes later in the evening without really giving a proper sign out to the other teachers. It seldom happens, but a few times I've picked up my child and there's a bruise or some sort of injuries, which happens and expected since she's a toddler, but kinda upsetting when I ask what happened and the teacher kinda shrugged and said she didn't watch her earlier so has no idea. Overall though we enjoy our time here and would definitely still considers kiddie academy.

I'll start by saying that our experience ( and this review) will primarily be focused on the toddler and upper rooms ( zazzy zebra, dazzling dolphins, and the preppy pandas). The classroom layout for all the rooms is made very thoughtfully with each part of the classroom designated for a specific type of play/ learning. My son is now in the pre-k room and still one of his favorite spots to hang out is the reading area! The rooms are adequately staffed so it doesn't seem like there are too many kids to teachers, and supervision doesn't seem to be a problem either Oh, and another nice touch is that they have a washer and dryer unit on site that they regularly use! While my son was potty training, we didn't have to bring home bagged up dirty undies which honestly was very nice. The main thing that I like about this school is the daily report and daily photos they send to the app. It's makes it so easy to see how your kid is doing and also a great way to talk about their day during pick up ! The price for the school is for sure on the higher end, but I do feel that they are 100% worth every penny!

We feel especially lucky that our daughter had Miss Fariba and Miss Taraneh as her teachers. Since they speak her native language, they gave her a wonderful sense of comfort and familiarity that made her transition so much easier. We were honestly amazed by how quickly she adjusted. Within just one week, she felt completely comfortable and happy. As parents, there's nothing more reassuring than seeing your child genuinely excited to go to school every day. We are also extremely impressed with the educational program. The curriculum is engaging, age-appropriate, and thoughtfully designed. Every day our daughter comes home having learned something new through fun, creative, and hands-on activities. It's clear that the school focuses not only on helping children feel loved and safe but also on encouraging their curiosity, confidence, and development. Thank you, Miss Fariba, Miss Taraneh, and the entire team at The Goddard School of Tustin for creating such a warm, loving, and enriching environment. We are truly grateful and highly recommend this school to any family looking for a place where their child will feel safe, happy, loved, and inspired to learn.

Areas for Improvement: Teacher rotation does cause disruption in student learning. While staffing shifts are common, the school needs to do a better job of getting ahead of these rotations and being proactive about the transitions. Furthermore, the administration should establish a structured, year-round channel for parental feedback. While daily communication from individual teachers is fine, an administrative feedback loop like bi-annual parent surveys would allow families to share insights on scheduling logistics, administrative clarity, or classroom dynamics. It remains a solid option for families in Irvine, and showing better foresight regarding teacher transitions and structured parent communication will help them reach that next level.
