Absolutely love Valerie and her daycare! We have been going here for over a year and we can't recommend it enough. Our son has had no issues being here and is so happy to go every day. Valerie sends us weekly menus and pictures constantly to keep us in the loop. Our son has learned so much from coming here and socializing with all his little friends. I have had both of my children go to Valeries Home Day Care and I am so blessed to have found her! Overall, we loved having our kids go here and it was nice being able to meet other parents that lived within Tustin that send their kids here too! 1. Drop off/Pickup: Very easy process and my children were always happy to go to her house and be the ones to knock on her door. 2. Meals: Parents help contribute two items a week for her to prepare meals for the kids. She sends out a schedule for what the kiddos will be eating for breakfast and lunch. They were always eating healthy and fun options! 3. Updates: She will send pictures of what the kids are up too and their different activities or holidays that are being celebrated. She was very flexible with childcare arrangements for our family when we needed to go from Full time care to part time for a few months. We took both our children out when they were old enough to attend preschool. I recommend Valerie's Home Daycare wholeheartedly. I found her through a friend's referral. Valerie is a loving, caring, intelligent, protective, and experienced caregiver. I have known her for almost 7 years and she has been phenomenal at caring for my kids. She deeply cares for babies, toddlers, and kids. Having kids is very tough, but she has made it easier. I can go to work, knowing that my young kids are in caring hands. I trust her 100 percent. Her husband is very caring as well, and they make a really great team. In addition, she has nurturing helpers who takes excellent care of children. She is highly energetic, vibrant, and experienced. Plus, she renovated her place to make it very enjoyable for young ones! We switched from a fancy private preschool to this in home daycare for our 2 toddlers just over 1 year ago. I cannot express how much relief I felt as a parent knowing that my kids were actually paid attention to and their individual needs addressed. This was by far an upgrade for us. This family owned business really makes your kids part of their family and loves on them like they are their own. My daughter is off to TK so her last day was today, but my son is still at this daycare. We love the food provided for our kids, even getting my picky daughter to experiment with some new foods. The communication and pictures that Valerie sends throughout the day was a huge importance to me, I really felt at ease seeing the kids happy. Both of my boys have been going to Valerie's for the last 6 years. Let me tell you, you won't find someone like her. Shes sweet, responsive and so nurturing with each child. I receive photo updates on a weekly basis, and for some reason she captures my boys with the best smiles while I get the awkward smiles . The kids come home with the cutest crafts and she lets them be themselves. My kids have met some of their best friends through Valerie's daycare and we consider her as family. Our son has been in Valerie's daycare for about 7.5 years and we couldn't be more grateful for the amazing care that she provided for him throughout the years. Ahh, where to begin..... I first called Valerie in the New Year of 2016 and left a voicemail or an online inquiry, I was searching for great care for our first child but unfortunately Valerie wasn't available at the time (no surprise) :) she was very sweet though to get back to me in a timely manner that she wasn't available and I appreciated that even if I was bummed she had no current openings. We then had our second baby in the Fall of 2018 and this time around I couldn't wait to inquire again and see if Valerie had any openings. Like the first I was told so sorry but no availability when we needed it which we again were bummed but totally understood, it's a testament to how amazing Valerie is. Dad and I then got pregnant with our 3rd baby in Summer of 22" and after patiently waiting......YAY there was an opening for our Son and on the exact same day that I was expected to return to work, I feel it was meant to be. We were so happy and excited even after the tour she took time to provide us and make the enrollment process an easy and smooth one! Valerie has been such a blessing and our Son absolutely loves going to Daycare each day, he goes to Valeries with a big smile and leaves with one. She does cute activities, makes creative food/snacks, fun play time and bonus I get pictures which I love so much and look forward too, it brightens our day! Her house is in a beautiful neighborhood and is clean and smells so good. We are so thankful for her and her family. I can't say enough wonderful things about Valerie! I would recommend Valeries daycare 1000% and say it's also worth the wait, you won't regret it. It is so hard and emotional as a parent to find GOOD help that you TRUST for your 3 month old. I found Valerie's at home daycare and was so pleased. My daughter stayed there until she was 3 and a half years old and LOVED it. She learned so much and made so many friends. Valerie has it basically set up as a mini preschool. They do crafts, songs, stories, nap time, etc. Valerie created such a safe environment that left me feeling at ease dropping my kid off every day. My daughter had no trouble saying goodbye to me in the mornings and sprinting to knock on the door. It was a sad goodbye to head off to preschool, but I am pregnant with baby number 2, and he will be going to her very soon! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Valerie and her family. They are like family to us now. Our twin girls started with her when they were 2 and our third started at 3 months. I'm so happy we found Valerie and her husband! My son is 2.5 YO and we have been going to this daycare since May 2018. Some positive factors: She's texts us pictures of my son throughout the day, gives us a healthy menu at the beginning of the week, helps with potty training, has a good balance of indoor/outdoor play, lets you pay via Venmo (this literally was a must-factor for us!), has the best rates in town, and has such a great demeanor! She's super sweet. My son gets so excited to see her, and it's hard to convince him to leave at the end of the day. She's a mom of little ones, so she gets it! Where we think there may be some room for improvement: more consistent arts & crafts projects and more encouragement of group reading & learning. I liked Valerie from the moment we met. Our son was lovingly cared for by her from about 5 months old until he was a little more than 3 1/2 years. His last day was an immensely bitter sweet one. It felt like he was a member of the family there. Drop offs were always easy. When he was a baby I felt so comfortable leaving him there, and as soon as he was able to walk, he was quick to leave us behind and run inside to his friends and the place he felt most comfortable, outside of his own home. Valerie is a patient, warm, and caring individual. She keeps her home clean, gives the kids a variety of fun and educational activities, and makes healthy, well-rounded meals and snacks. I loved receiving the occasional picture by text message to see our son enjoying his day (such a comfort for a working mom!). We miss seeing Valerie every day and highly recommend her day care. It's been three months and my son still speaks fondly of her and his buddies there. I'm so happy we chose her home to be his home away from home, and given the opportunity, would happily choose her again. Since our little boy was old enough to go to daycare this is where he has been coming. My wife and I both go to work and daycare can be a scary thing for a new parent. But coming here and meeting with Valerie and meeting her kids was as good as things can be. The place is fantastic for kids. They are in a safe environment and have a great area to play. Another great thing is (besides being on my way to work) is that they provide meals for kids with meals once they are old enough to start eating solid foods. With our son my wife was nursing and we would just send milk with him for the day. Then we started to make our own baby food and would send that. But now he is eating and its nice that we get a menu sent off what they are going to be eating for the week. If you are looking for a daycare provider and she has an opening, please come and check out this place. Valerie and Gabby are amazing. Yes, they perform all the tasks that any daycare would, but they do it a little better because they actually take time and care about their families. I have felt so comfortable and have seen such an improvement in my sons learning and mood. They make homemade healthy meals and snacks for our kids. My daughter has been attending Valerie's Day Care now for a little over a year and I couldn't be happier! Previously I had my daughter in a chain day care center, but it became way too expensive, she was always sick and I felt like there had to be something better out there. We were so lucky to find Valerie! Our little guy, who will be turning 4, has been with her since he was about 10 months old. Valerie is a home away from home for him. He loves her and all the kids there. Her home is warm and inviting, and always clean. The play area is perfect for the small group of kids. With short notice in my hands that my family member wouldn't be able to care for my little one I had a week to look for a daycare for my daughter. My husband was having surgery on that week and I had no one to take care of my daughter. On the Friday before my husband had to go back to work I remember getting ready and telling him we need to find a daycare by this afternoon. I had search for schools, daycare, home daycare and gone to tours where ever possible. My husband called me at work and said, "you need to go tour a home daycare today!"
