I figured dealerships must add a higher premium than local shops so brought the car to Jeff at the Chevron in South End, instead. After careful inspection of the car, Jeff could have easily made a fortune, but instead he took the high-route and concluded that he wouldn't have recommended any of the "fixes" that the dealership tried to scare me with. Turns out dealerships don't just rip off their customers, but also straight up lie to them. If you want an honest mechanic that serves the neighborhood, come to Jeff. I know where I will bring my cars for any problems in the future.
