I've been a customer of Valet Auto Wash for over three years. Overall, the car wash service itself is good, and the staff at the locations are generally helpful and do their best to assist customers. However, my experience with corporate management has been very disappointing. I had memberships for two vehicles, and over time I discovered multiple double charges on my debit cards. After carefully reviewing my statements, I provided full documentation for both accounts, clearly showing the duplicate charges. Despite this, corporate refused to issue a refund or properly resolve the issue. Because of this, I do not recommend enrolling in their membership program. If you do decide to sign up, I strongly advise that you closely monitor your monthly charges to avoid potential billing issues. read more

I would never ever return to this place. I took my car to this car wash and my car was in perfectly fine condition. They have cameras which can show them it was in perfectly fine shape. Their machines cracked my passenger side mirror completely off. I immediately filled out a report there and this was their official response via email. Apparently anything that gets ripped off your car falls under "loose moldings." Read for yourself below: All of our facilities display signs stating that we are not responsible for any damage to vehicles. While the sign does not specifically list side-view mirrors, they fall under the "loose chrome or moldings" category. This includes any exterior components that may detach due to their condition upon entering the wash. read more

I removed all dirt and bird poop with a soft cloth today too. And look what I found! ANOTHER NEW SCRATCH AFTER USING THIS CAR WASH. "Oh nooo maam, it couldn't have been us. I paid for the extra services because some birds had a great time sh*tting on my car last weekend. The initial wash with ceramic shield didn't take it all off my windshield. Then I go to the Brilliance Wax Tunnel. I sit there for 5 minutes waiting for an attendant. None come out so I call them. Not sure this Brilliance Wax added much shine to the car, and it still didn't get all the crap off my windshield. All in all, not worth it, when you can go down the road to Hopewell and they'll clean your interior and windows for you for a lower price. read more

I can't speak to the value proposition of Valet's "car wash clubs" and premium tiers but I can say for $11 the basic wash and the free vacuum was first rate. In, out and back on the street in 15 minutes in a gleaming car and a courtesy laser show given the abundance of suds and the strobing florescent lighting in the drive-thru. Honestly, given all the crap on the roads and the abundance of construction vehicles on Route 1, anything more than a basic wash seems wasted as I could easily shower my car twice a month just driving normally amidst the muck and grime being spit up. That said, keeping it simple at Valet Car Wash merits an easy five stars. read more

This car wash is my favorite, hands down the best car wash I've ever been to. I'm still being to cheap to buy a membership, but i will soon, lol. I love this car wash because it isn't expensive, it's clean, up to date and after the car wash i love the self clean/service station which offers, vacuums & towels. It's plenty of parking spaces and room for you to add finishing touches and continue cleaning your car inside and outside. This is great for people who find car washes awkward or who don't want to deal with other people. Fully automated check in and payment at a kiosk which took me some time to figure it out but next time around I was better at it. I always go during lunch break and never had to wait in line. It's like driving through a large warehouse or factory. Lots of free towels and vacuum cleaners at the end to finish the job yourself. I almost couldn't figure out how to pull the hose out but I eventually got it. It's a good place to go in a pinch but overall it's a so so wash since it always misses the back of my station wagon. There's no attendants nearby so I wouldn't know who to tell. The "Help Wanted" signs on the way out were perplexing because they seem to do ok running a car wash without humans. read more

If you don't actually want your car to come out clean then this is the place for you! My car was covered in petals from being parked under a tree, so I got it washed to get the petals off - silly me! My car was still covered in petals (and bird poop) after going through the wash. I had to spend an additional hour wiping the petals and bird poop off of my car myself (something I could have done without paying $13). Very annoyed. read more

First time here since they've opened some time ago. I did not think I would like this place. But on the contrary. This place is not that bad. The wash you want is what wax you want basically. This place is only if you do not want to do the extra work yourself. Which is not to bad considering they provide pretty much everything. The car wash is good. Colorful foam and wax actually is plentiful and the brushes get all your car / truck clean. It actually did good on the many bugs in front of my car from highway driving. The drying system is really good. When you're done driving through, you know your car is dry enough to just leave. But if you drive around to the vacuum stations. You will give high power vacuums, towels and a air hose. All you need is time and a spray bottle of water and some amoral if you getting into details with your vehicle. There are plenty rags in each station to wipe your vehicle. I particularly liked the air hose to blow all the water from out behind the mirrors. The air pressure at my station was not too strong but worked well. The only thing. For me I wish I had a bottle of water / soapy water would be better. To spray the seats and wipe clean the foot boards and door panels. The provided rags are dry and they provide no water. If you have the time to amoral and get in the nooks. You will leave there in wow of your car. The wheel shine works pretty good too. I was surprised at that. Overall this is a good place long as you have time to do the after wash work. read more

Its gorgeous outside and my car definitely needed to get cleaned up. On my lunch break I decided to check out this car wash. A basic wash was $9. At the end of the wash I was a little confused because there is a path to what looks like another wash and another to vacuums. I went to the vacuums after determining the 2nd building was for waxing. The vacuum cleats were high powered with long hoses. Clean towels were also provided to wipe down your interior or exterior. I've seen free vacuums before but they usually aren't as powerful as these. Also the clean towels were a nice touch. I'll definitely be taking my car here again in the future. They offer a $24 unlimited wash monthly pass that might be perfect for next winter. read more

Very upset at management. I brought my brand new 2018 German car to this car wash, at one of the visits. I noticed scratches and marks on the back of the car on the trunk. So I went to the front desk, where this very rude lady told me I got these scratches because I do not know how to wipe my car? Mind you, I own many different cars and spend an hour + always vacuuming and detailing my car. The rest of my car is spotless with no marks. To add, the car is brand new and garage kept. When I told her, that not only do I have a monthly membership with them, but have brought at minimum 2 other monthly members, and also take my other 2-3 cars to the car wash at full cost. She did not care one bit. Her response was, "Maybe you used the wrong towels on your car or don't know how to properly wash your car". First off, you guys are the one that provide the towels, and I still use high-end towels not yours. The lady's solution was I write a bad review, because "management" will not care or do anything about my problem and If I have a problem, I can cancel my membership. I give everyone a fair chance, but take responsibility where you are in the wrong. I am a community member, who always has respect to local businesses in the area. But I am never a fan of disrespect. Bottom line: If you have a brand new car, and want a good place to get car washes? DO NOT GO TO VALET CAR WASH. I've had 2 horrible experiences here and will never come back. 1. I visited this location 11/21. I paid for the best one offered, $46 wash, wax, detail etc. and was extremely disappointed. So unhappy to the point I pulled into the vacuum area and detailed myself, after paying almost $50.. The back of my car still had dirt and water spots all over it. You could still see where the wax was sprayed and not wiped off at all. The interior was not wiped down, there was still very visible dirt and dust that wasn't touched. Under the door handles was not touched so the rest of the car had a surface clean then there was dirt where it wasn't touched under the handle. I spent another 25 min after going through the wash and the attendants "wiping it down" to only have to do it myself anyway. I normally love this location, I drive from yardville even though there is a few other valet auto washes near me this one is always my go to. But after this service after paying almost $50 I was shocked to say the least. One of the attendants was also quite rude. When I pulled up to get the interior done, I walked up to a guy and tried to hand him my window cleaner (I had just gotten my windows tinted about a week ago and have certain cleaner so it doesn't get ruined) and he said well then we just won't touch them and walked away. I emailed them and had to consistently email after a few days to a week of no response. Their "resolution" was saying that a manager approached me while at the facility and asked if I was satisfied which they said I said yes. I NEVER was approached by a manager at all so they lied straight to my face and just ignored the rest of my emails and never rectified my situation. I was out $50. Issue #2: Today I went to get the $16 wash. It was so rough on my vehicle to the point that the back piece of my drivers side mirror snapped on in the tunnel. I asked for a manager, she went in the tunnel to get the piece out and had someone snap it back on. I checked to make sure there was no damage, there was another piece that was snapped out of place. I asked them to fix that. She proceeded to tell me that the tunnels are high pressure and it's bound to happen. She never once apologized or tried to rectify the situation. The pieces were snapped on and she walked away. After looking at the piece more, there are scratches all over the piece that was torn off. Keep in mind this is a brand new vehicle. Not a scratch on it until I left this place. Needless to say I am beyond disappointed and will never go here again. I know this was long, but I hope this helps someone else. read more

i take two trucks there weekly. so I'm roughly paying 7 dollars a wash can't beat it. yes some vacuum don't work and the air nozzles are always broKen. but I like the fact that I can detail my whole truck inside out of the sun and heat and cold and no one says anything. sometimes I'm there 2 hours. i don't want other people driving my truck I don't want guys climbing around in my truck like at some wash places. and it puts tire dressing on the tires. most other slop it on. read more

Okay, wow. This place is next level. I've used Valet Auto Wash and Express Lube on Route 130 a number of times. While this car wash may share the Valet name and ownership, that's just about all they have in common. The Lawrenceville location is more impressive on every level. I took my very dirty car here with the single intention to try the Valet interior service I saw advertised on a flyer from the Hamilton location (they do not offer it there). When I pulled in, the general design was familiar, just much bigger than Hamilton. I pulled up to the self-serve screen to buy my car wash, made my choices, added the interior service, scanned my $3 coupon and paid via credit card. Within seconds the gate was up and I was inside. The line was about 5 cars deep, and moved quickly. Soon I was on the belt and on my way through the automatic wash. It really did a very thorough job, and you could notice how high pressure the water lines were spraying down the car. The tire shine was also much better than a typical automatic wash and really scrubbed as well as shined. After pulling off the belt, I drove past the entrance to the dozen or so indoor self-serve vacuum bays and followed the signed to the interior valet. I was promptly greeted by an attendant, pulled onto a large stationary belt (think a huge people-mover you see at the airport divided into 3 sections) and hopped out and walked to the waiting area. I made myself a cup of complimentary cappuccino, and watched that valet team absolutely go to town on my car. They pulled the carpets, cleaned them, cleaned the floors, the windows, the doorjams, the dash, the center console, the hatch, the whole nine yards. While my center console wasn't quite as clean as I has hoped (I asked them to focus on it), the entire car looked really good, it was done in a bit less than 10 minutes, and I think I got my money's worth on the $15 service. So, all in all, this seems like a very good automatic service with some really high end add-ons available. I have read two Yelpers complain of poor customer service when things have gone poorly (as they sometimes do at car washes). I have heard similar complaints about the Hamilton location, so while I haven't had an issue, I'm not willing to dismiss those concerns. That being daid, I saw a few Mercedes there while I was getting my car washed, presumably from the dealership next door. If a Mercedes-Benz dealership is in fact using this location for quick detailing/washing, they must do consistently quality work. I give this location 4 stars because despite its impressiveness, the price tag matched. I got an good wash with a very good interior cleaning, which is exactly what I would expect for $24 ($12 for the wash, $15 for the interior service less a $3 coupon). read more

Exterior Only Car Wash ! This place is exterior wash only. If you want your inside vacuumed you have to do it yourself from their free vacuums inside their building. But what about cleaning my inside glass ? The manager said " sorry but we're exterior only" The starting price for an exterior wash is $ 19.95. 5 stars for a car wash?! YES! When this place opened up, I was skeptical that it was going to be like every other get-em-in-and-get-em-out automated place. BUT my car was dirty so I decided to check it out! I don't think it's exaggerating to say that this is THE NICEST car wash I've ever been to. First, for $9 you can get the basic car wash (which does a pretty decent job!) but my focus is really going to be ok the "valet service" interior clean. For $15 you can "upgrade" to this inside wash/vacuum. I want to use the word 'detail' here almost! You drive your car to a slow moving belt and 3-4 service people descent upon the car. They take your mats out, they scrub your trunk liner. Clean INSIDE the windows. Wipe down your dash. Vacuum like it's the day before your in-laws are visiting. For $15 bucks, this is serious service. The even have bins for you to use if you're a hoarder and have too much stuff in your car! If you chose to go with just the basic or some of the regular washes, there's an area you can pull in that has wet and clean rags you can use, along with vacuums, all for no charge. The service is super friendly, they're amazingly efficient and I can't wait to go back !! *this one does not have an oil change, but they have deals for that at other locations! read more

I brought my husband's car in. They put the mats back in wet, didn't even dry up underneath. They didn't clean sunroof, sprayed and left wet. The wipe down of the car they didn't do any of the roof and my car is very low so they can easily get to it. When I complained, all of them jumped on me and started complaining to me. This is not the first time that I've had a bad experience with this car wash. Terrible, terrible, terrible. read more

I seriously don't understand the complaints with other customers. This is an awesome service for what it actually provides, this is NOT a detailing service, it is a subscription car wash that provides you with the basic needs of a car wash. I pay roughly $30 a month for unlimited washes, vacuums, and clean microfiber cloths. When I'm lazy, I pay the additional $15 to them do a basic cleaning, wiping, and vacuuming of my vehicle. This is the same as anything, don't expect to pay $45 and receive a $200 detailing service. Stop complaining and put reality in check! I've been using this car wash for years. Today I was rushed into the track by the attendant with no more than 5 feet from the car in front. Midway, my car was pushed by the machinery over the track and I was stuck. I had to put my SUV into 4 wheel drive to get out of the track. On exiting my breaks were soft, and were damaged by whatever happened. I would avoid using this facility. read more

Don't be fooled by the smoke and mirrors. The results are mediocre at best. Absolutely not worth the $30 for exterior and interior. They must have dirty rags, because there are dirt stains and water stains all over my car inside and out. They didn't bother to clean the center console, and the tire shine looks watered down. People are blinded by all the colorful lights and signs, and the fancy conveyor belt, they don't realize they are getting ripped off with a crappy wash. Not a good car wash. Wasted my money. I ordered a Deluxe Valet Car Wash. The washing process went great, though, there were some left over Spots. The dryers handles could have been more cleaner. They have a strong vacuum too. Their towels made scratches on my car; I wouldn't use them. read more

I have been a member for over two years and never had any issues with valet auto wash. I have used the car washing services in multiple locations such as Princeton, Hamilton, Lawrenceville and Cinnaminson. My vehicle is a 2016 Toyota Highlander. I have gone through every of the above mentioned locations with my roof racks on and it has never been a problem. The employees at the front of the track has always turned "off" the top rollers for washing and drying purposes. They advised me that the reason why they do this is to not damage the vehicle when it goes through and the employee is responsible for manually doing this each and every time. I had never had a single employee forget to turn off the rollers. On Friday May 24th 2019 at the Lawrenceville NJ location, the employee failed to turn off the top rollers when I went through the wash. Luckily no damage was done durning the washing process but that was not the case for the drying. At the end of the wash the top roller that dries the vehicles tore off my front roof rack that I had on my car and completely damaged the back one. It had caused dents on top of my vehicle, broke both my rack assembly completely, broke both kayak carries that were locked in a complete flat position, cracked my rear taillight when it "threw" the roof rack to the back of my car. Damage is also done to the anchor points where the rack is mounted on the car and cracked the side rails on both side of my car as well. The general manager, Steve Stull, has video of the incident and there were two employees that saw the entire incident unfold. On June 1st 2019, Steve advised me that when he provided his manager the evidence of what occurred and explained the situation, Valet Auto Wash will not be covering any damages that I obtained because the roof rack what Thule and not OEM. I was provided the general Valet Auto Wash email to reach out to Steve's manager to see if I can have this escalated but I had no response to either of my two emails. I later on was advised that she does not have a phone number to be contacted directly and that his manager is "really busy". Steve later on mentioned that his manager will be on site and that he will speak the his managers again and get back to me. That never happened. I should not be the one liable for any damages due to the negligence of the employee who did not do his job correctly. This could have all been avoided completely. Management here is a complete joke and the customer service is extremely poor. To whoever Steve's Manager is, call me directly and don't have your puppet Steve do so. read more

I happened upon this location some time ago after receiving a advertisement from a local fast food establishment. I figured why not give it a try. The business itself is originally based out of Trenton in a building once occupied by a trolley factory from yesteryear. While I have yet to visit that location the Lawrenceville location is a site to behold. It truly is a stare of the art car wash. The wash tunnell itself is quite a bit larger than more traditional car washes and does a great job at cleaning the exterior. As far as the interior goes there are two options. There is an endless number of indoor and outdoor bays which provide access to clean tags, powerful vacs, and compressed air (great for getting in the nooks and crannies. The other option is an Interior valet service for an upcharge of $15 but you can come across coupons. The interior valet is a nice treat as a team of workers thoroughly clean the interior. Meanwhile as you are waiting there is a lounge area in which you can enjoy a water or cup of coffee. It's a very modern setup. The staff are always very helpful if needed.
