I was familiar with her work, comfortable with her pricing, and liked the examples that I saw on her website! I was quite nervous for the shoot, but she made me feel comfortable with the entire process. I just choose my final prints, but there was definitely more than enough for me to work with in the proofs that she sent me. (There were a couple of 'hobby/part-time photographers' who were charging $50 for the session, but I would feel a bit unreasonable if I wasn't happy with any of the photos taken with them.)
