I had a contract with a venue (Vallejo women's club) since September 2024. My wedding was last Saturday, June 21, 2025. We had a contract with the venue for 1500 my contract was not respected at all. I was forced to pay 2000 on the spot.Also she told me over the phone she'll meet me at the venue at 8am but she didn't show up until 9am and we were all in distress. Coming towards the night we started cleaning up the new management arrived 11:30 while me and my family were still cleaning. We still had until 12 she came. We had a discussion. She didn't like what I said. I didn't like what she said. The venue was pretty much at this point clean. Outside had a little bit of garbage, Nothing major. (My brothers were taking care of outside ) The " Management" expected us to scrub the concrete outside ( the entrance) . They did not provided anything We can use to scrub. Everything at my event starting from toilet paper to napkins to trash bags I brought from home. She refused to give me my deposit and ended up, kicking me out without allowing me to clean up outside. This place is not recommended, no answering machine or voice mailbox available because no one answers the phone. Correspondence terrible. Been trying them for a week now, stop no answer. read more

Super upset. I really liked the place but I've been trying for weeks now to drop off the deposit. I haven't even been able to send out invitations because I don't officially have the venue. I even referred a couple people here. Hopefully they aren't having the same issue. read more

This is one of the nicest event rental spots in Vallejo. I was prepared for an awful experience based on previous comments posted but my family discovered the Vallejo Women's Club is under new management and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service of management and the cleanliness of the building. I do not recommend anyone trying to have an event here. I had heard many comments about calls not being returned and difficulties people had when trying to rent this venue. I had rented it many years ago and it was a positive experience. I tried recently and in my opinion the person in charge of the rental is unreliable and not to be trusted. It took many attempts to reach him (voice mailbox full and no answer). When I finally did talk to him, he said he was at work but that he was very certain my date was the only Saturday in that month that was available. He asked me to call him that evening when he got home from work and gave me a time to call. I called at that time with no success. I tried several times and finally got in touch with him (45 minutes after he told me to call). He said he was not home yet and asked if it was okay if he called me back. I said "certainly" as I really want to rent the hall for that date. He never called me and I tried him again with no success. I sent him a text telling him that he could call me until 10 pm or first thing in the morning. No response. I called him the next night several times with no answer. I like the hall itself but getting a hold of the person that rents the place is the worst. I tried leaving a message but his mailbox is full. My daughter rented this place and he was even hard to get a hold of to give him the deposit money. She paid for a security and there was no one at the door. A stranger walked in and started talking to one of the kids that was at the event. If there would have been a security that man wouldn't have never entered because he was looking for the guy that rents the place. Now we are trying to get a hold of him so he can reimburse my daughter her deposit. Honestly, I don't recommend this place to anyone. Don't get me wrong because the guy is nice but he is very difficult to get a hold of. read more

I had a walkthrough of the Woman's Club for a client today, and I am so impressed by the value of this space. Recently under new management, Greg and Lorraine are welcoming, accommodating and have a wonderful vision for the space. It's the perfect local room for receptions, baby showers, luncheons, gender reveals and dinner parties. Since the Woman's Club gives back to the community through scholarships and other programs, I feel like it is a great place to support. read more

Rented this place for my mom's repass last friday 4/14/17 and they had mice in the kitchen this was so embarrassing to our guest.. we brought food to serve.. I will never rent here again when I talked with the people I told them we found 2 mice and even showed them a picture of one of the mice was told by George someone else had told them about seeing mice but they haven't seen any yet so they put down mice traps. I told them if I knew they had mice traps I wouldn't have even rented from here. I asked for part of my money back they told me they have to speak with the owners first on Monday and Tuesday the days they have meetings and they will call me. I didn't get any calls back so I called on Wednesday 4/19 and left a message receive a call back from George and asked what happened with discussing with the owners about Part of my refund back from $450.00 paid was told by George the owners are not going to give me any of my money back and they don't have mice.. I told him you told me about the mice traps on the day we left the building when we cleaned it I showed him and Lynette the mice droppings in the refrigerator and also showed the picture of the mice found in the kitchen. poor customer service I will never rent here again.. read more

had an event here and got to say it's a pretty nice venue for an affordable price ! was able to put in my deposit right away, but it took awhile to give them the actual rental money, i messaged them and call them left voicemails repeatedly. i almost thought i didn't have a venue anymore but the day of the event is when they answered and paid them the rental. after the event it took me about a week to get answer from them to be able to return the key and get my deposit back. other than the bad communication. everything went smoothly. will be renting again soon. read more

i rented this hall 5/19/18 for my child's communion, the couple in charge of renting are the worst people i have ever met, when i signed the contract i advised that they could keep the $500 deposit as we did not have anyone to clean the hall after the event, they were so mad acted as if they didn't know, the woman threaten to punch me if we didn't leave the hall in 5 minutes, she is an older woman i was not going to fight her, she was so rude and disrespectful. to everyone that is thinking of renting this place "don't rent it" share this information, this couple are the worst, they are seniors yet they make threats and use the most awful language and not afraid to use it in front of children, my 19 and 21 year old girls were dealing with the woman and my 26 year old son was dealing the man and were so disgusted the of the language. do not rent this place! read more
