Sunday I had purchased a inflatable cone for my dog at the Elmsdale location, the manager there had told me that if i brought it home and decided it didnt fit/ I changed my mind that I could bring it back as long as it haddent been blown up for full credit, and if I had blown it up then I could get a store credit (which I was fine with). I had left the Elmsdale location and on the way to sackville had decided to return it. It haddent been out of the box, the seal wasn't broken, and I still had the original receipt. Since the sackville location was closer to me than going back to Elmsdale I had decided to go there. I walked into the location being completely ignored by the two workers chatting, looked at the collars and then went to the counter and politely asked if I could return it. The woman who I was speaking to was very rude and told me that she could only give me store credit even though I said I was speaking to the manager of the Elmsdale location. The worker (Anna) was very rude, I had asked to speak to the manager when I had begun to get frustrated, and she had said she was the manager (come to find out, she was the assistant manager, therefore lying about her position). I asked to get in touch with the owner, which I could tell Anna's attitude was becoming worse and she said she would write down my name and phone number and that the owner would give me a call (still haven't received a call). I left upset and drove back to Elmsdale to return for a full refund, and even they couldnt believe that Sackville Pet Valu wouldnt return it. The Sackville location is the closest to my home, I normally buy my dogs food here, but from now on I will be making the drive to the Fall River or Elmsdale location, unless something changes at this location. Customer service is lacking.

Luckily I had a friend in tow that was looking for a new cat tree so it wasn't a total waste of time for me. As with most warehouse type shopping experience everything is going to be slightly cheaper and you'll probably have lots of options to choose from but again if you're just going for one thing: Meh. There wasn't anyone there (customer wise) when we were perusing for cat tree's. I don't think this particular location has caught on just yet so the employees seemed overly eager to help us. Two of us vs five of them = too much customer service. But they seemed nice and really I don't blame them if they are having to stare at the windows all day at the empty parking lot. If they put a Costco out there, business would probably be mad hopping. Get your 50 pounds of ground beef for you and your 150 pound bag of food for your four-legger!

The goal of working at Petstuff is for these folks to get permanent employment. I personally think it's a fabulous idea and it's what brought me to their store in 2009 for the first time. The employees at Petstuff are very sweet and kind. They love to help you out and always welcome a furry visitor. They've got a good selection of food, toys, grooming supplies, and everything else you could need for your pet. For people who are training for other work opportunities, I am always very impressed at how knowledgeable the employees are. They really do a fantastic job! I haven't had any personal experience with their groomer but have heard from numerous people that they do a great job. The pugs may be visiting that area of the business soon!

I have been home several times when the walkers come by, and my dog is always loose and relaxed when he sees them, and happy when I come home. I get updates after every walk so that I know for certain my dog got out and how it went. I got updates every morning and night that I was away.
