He made sure I had a clear understanding of the different procedures that he suggested before I made my final decision. I very thankful that he comes all the way to Jackson, WY to see patients.

The doctor told us to let him keep walking like that so he could perform surgery on him when he is ten to lengthen his muscles. I couldn't believe my ears. My husband and I were so shocked that a doctor could be that sick. We left immediately and called the office thirty minutes later. I told them about the bad experience and that I would not feel good about being charged for the visit. They said they were sorry and that I would not be charged. I got a bill in the mail months later. I talked to them again and they said they were fine with me having a bad experience and being lied to about not being charged because "they run a business". How sick is that. I am appalled by such a nasty run place that is supposed to be helping people. I am so disappointed by there rudeness and wrongful actions. There's always a way to make right yours wrongs but these people do not care. The doctor and everyone there only want your money.

Turned out I needed ankle surgery which I had done by a specialist at the University of Utah medical school. I have walked on this ankle for years now. Coker's solution would have actually weakened the leg and exacerbated the injury.

Dr. Coker was my mother's doctor when she fell and broke her hip. His office called me at about 1:00 pm and told me if I wasn't there by at least 2:30- we would have to wait until the end of the next week to see him. I am a school teacher and it wasn't very easy to "farm" my students out last minute to someone who could sub for me till the end of the day. ( by the way we had an appointment at 4 scheduled) When we had to load my mom into the car and back out when we got there and it hurt her so bad. The appointment was to do a post op checkup and X-rays. We waited in the waiting room for almost an hour and when we got in the room and he came in- he asked how she was doing and I said probably as good as she could be. Then I reminded him that she wasn't using her right arm at all. (She has been a teacher and a mural painter her whole life and she is right handed) he said - (with her sitting a foot away from him) "So, you want me to x-ray or see what is wrong? Look at her- what do you want to do with her- she is too old to worry about doing anything". Then I asked him to just do the post X-ray and remove all of her staples. He looked at me and laughed... and said, "Then again, you want me to look at her hip again and what are you going to change if it didn't go like you wanted? She is too old to do anything. Just make her comfortable at this point". You should have seen the hurt look on her face. So I was getting frustrated and just told him to go ahead and take the staples out because that was another reason we went. He looked at me and told me he was not going to do it- the girls at the assisted living facilities could do it. Oh my gosh!!! I took her out in the rain- in and out of the car twice, then to have her wait in the waiting room for so long, for him to be SO patronizing and rude to her, and he didn't even touch her or talk to her once. He spent maybe 5 minutes with us. We went back to The Gables and they helped me get all the staples out that went clear down her thigh. The next day they called me wanting to get her Medicare information so they could get them billed. WHAT???? That weekend all she could talk about was that mean man and how come he said those nasty mean things. BTW... my mother has always been this sweet, kind, loving, raise other people's kids kind of woman AND she is only 77. "Too old to help". We will NEVER EVER EVER go back and I warn you to do the same. I know one person that likes him because he fought for Workman's comp for them.... and she has a very noticeable limp. About a 2-3" difference between the two legs. Rant over!
