The one I attend is devoted to classic hand tools and is an open discussion with frequent instructive demonstrations. The only drawback to this club is that it has no facility for hands-on learning. None of the Chicago area clubs do. Clubs in some other cities have this, but it is rare and more expensive to the member. As an offset, this club offers occasional weekend seminars that may or may not require fees, depending on the topic.

One of my bad experiences was that I paid for it on Friday to be able to decorate and when I got to the place they wouldn't let me in, I wasted 40 minutes waiting to get in, the salon was completely dirty and I wasted another hour waiting for it to be cleaned, the next day there were 10/24 of waters left over that I had paid for, they never told me they had any left over and they came out with the excuse that I couldn't take it because they would lose the license which is stupid because it's water not alcohol, in the end a very kind tattoo man arrived who made up for everything bad from good before and apologized but that's not enough for me and if you are Hispanic please do not use this place for your parties or events

The chicken wings were a little bland of flavor and salty at the same time. I saw a couple of pizzas come out of the kitchen and they looked promising. This was more of a family community hangout spot that looks like it hasn't changed or been upgraded in over 25 years. If I return it will be to enjoy the conversation of friends.

At daycare he plays games, works on puzzles, and enjoys music. Day care gives my grandma a much needed break. I know they treat him very nice there because he has the type of Alzheimer's patient if something bad happens he remembers it. He has been going there for eight months and he always comes back happy, which is amazing to me. This place is great for the elderly to interact with other people outside the family and it gives the caregivers a break. He is memory is not good, needs reminders to take his medications and can get grumpy/obstinate. He goes to Elderday twice a week and he is a different person. He comes back home with the word games of the day and shows off the laminated pictures they take on their themed days - Kentucky Derby (his favorite), Senior Olympics, etc. The staff is very caring and they let us know if he is more tired than usual or if there is a concern. They are also a great resource for the family on additional senior services. Wonderful staff and organization!
