Instead of trying to be helpful or courteous, even checking he said, "We're closing". I understand it's a holiday weekend, but come on. You don't care to help someone and take an extra 10 minutes of your time. It's a sharkbite we need, not something that can wait. No, "I'm sorry we're closing", either..I will remember this and take the extra time, like we are today, to go to Lowes from now on.

Went to purchase a table saw blade and they were out of the one I wanted when i spotted another one…read moreand on sale for about $15 off. Went To the register and sale price didn't go through after a few tries. Clerk went over to the blade display and took off sale slip. In small print, sale ended on the last day of February. The clerk pointed it out to me and stuck to the regular price. After a little complaining, he offered to take off $5. Decided not to take the offer since it wasn't the blade i wanted in the first place but the sale price made it doable. I can get the blade i wanted at the big box store for the same price. I'm not sure what Ace's policy is about pricing, but I'm not happy. I try to purchase at Ace and i go there a lot, but this is not the first bad experience at a Ace Hardware, although the first at this location.

I had the pleasure of working with Tom, who was very kind and very knowledgeable. He was SO great! The man deserves a raise! Also, the lady at self checkout is ALWAYS SO sweet! However, I, unfortunately, did not get her name, but she needs a raise, as well! Lowe's should be trying its hardest to turn this place around, since they have so much competition around here and this is the only big time home improvement store. Anyway, I just wanted to thank Tom for his impeccable service and the lady at the checkout for how sweet she is! Give them both a raise!!

Rude and untrained employees. I attempted to utilize the Lowe's color exchange program after buying…read morea gallon of paint that I didn't really care for after painting a 2' x 2' test square on the wall. The employee at the customer service desk didn't know how to do the exchange. She said she didn't know how to adjust the inventory either so would have to return the color I didn't want and then I could purchase the new color I wanted... which forces the customer to have the full amount of both purchases removed from their card for multiple days while the return processes. The customer service employee also didn't know how to put the return onto a gift card... so I was forced to return to my card and wait for the processing. Employees should be trained much better before they're left to run a department by themselves. The paint desk employee also made a snide comment after my return saying "We usually like people to keep their paint. We already have a lot of returns." ... snarky and rude. This happened on 5/24/26 around 8PM
