My daughter's prom was held there and it was horrible. The food was awful and the drinks were flat. The smell of weed from the other event going on was unescapble anywhere in the facility. We've been to all of the Martin's locations over the last 30 years and was actually excited for my daughter for this one. We were shocked to find it in a budget shopping center. Very reminiscent of a NJ wedding venue. Big and fancy for show but nothing more.Labeling it the mansion gives an entirely different impression of expectations and a step above the others. Recently attended my cousin's wedding,it's a very efficient and functional establishment, I was taken aback that it in a strip mall right next door to a liquor store (how ironic). Indoors it a beautiful place, the servers are young,but work as experienced veterans. The food is terrific and they have what they call Martin's world famous dessert table. They have all kinds of cakes and apple strudel. If you're a fan of desserts you'll love this. The MC or Host kept the Reception program moving and was very very good at what he did. If you need a Great catering Hall you can't go wrong with this place, They know how to really make your special day EXTRA SPECIAL. read more

Where do I start with this venue. It is absolutely AMAZING!! I had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Valley Mansion this past Saturday, 8/13/22, and my family and friends are still talking about the superb service from the staff. The ballrooms, lobby, bridal suites and even bathrooms look elegant and were always clean. The food was DELICIOUS!! All of the staff from the general manager to the hostess to the wedding planner were all professional, kind-hearted and amazing. My overall experience was incredible from beginning to the end. Nick was my wedding planner and he made the planning process so smooth and easy for me. He was so patient and kind in all of my interactions with him. He goes over and beyond for his clients and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. The day of my wedding, Tinika, was my hostess. Before my event, I heard great things about her and she lived up to every word the day of my wedding. She helped to ensure my wedding day ran smoothly which it did. Never knew this place existed.... What an absolutely gorgeous place to have a wedding! It's located in Hunt Valley not too far off of Padonia Road, in a shopping center! I guess I wasn't expecting it to be what it was based on its location, with a name like Mansion I was expecting it to be off by itself. Either way once inside, just gorgeous! The wedding was held in one room which was nice in size, I guess about a hundred or so people could fit easily. The reception was held in a banquet hall a couple of doors down. The food was amazing, the wait staff were attentive. I loved every minute of it. read more

What a beautiful venue for a wedding. The mansion looks great on the outside. The decor and classy interior was just lovely and stunning. Beautiful picture taking areas everywhere. The bridal party was given a suite where cheese, fruits and crackers were waiting. It even has it's own private bathroom for the newly weds. Waiters and servers were attentive to whatever the bride and groom would ask and took care of every guest. The party was well organized. MC was great. Food was awesome, I can't believe it. The couple had their cake done here and it was just a beauty and so so good. They took care of everything. The couple didn't worry about a single thing. I'm a senior advisor, so I came here for a tasting. The staff is extremely helpful and the prom packages are reasonable. Our menu will include pepper steak, rice, fried chicken, seafood jambalaya, mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. Although I'm not too fond of the classic decor, I would definitely host an event here for a family reunion or party. read more

When our client relayed her September 4th wedding was located at Valley Mansion, we knew we were in for a treat. We were fortunate to work with Martin's Crosswinds in Greenbelt in 2009 when they catered the Inaugural events for the Recording Industry Association of America and Montana State Inaugural Ball hosted by our clients. Bringing in Martins to cater these events for some of the most prominent individuals of the Political and Entertainment world proved to be successful. And the 2 hour tasting was nothing short of amazing! So, it goes without saying that we already had an exceptional experience with Martin's and this time was no different. The staff's professionalism and execution of the tasks performed helps to identify your unique value in the event planning arena. From the onset we communicated with Karen Baker and she set the tone for our interaction with the rest of the staff. We understand hospitality positions are often thankless positions but we had to take a moment to say thank you for the incredible service that your staff provided. While, everyone provided amazing service there are those that stood out; Franklin, Shari, Angelica and Nick went above and beyond the call. We had our wedding reception here and I cannot say enough good things about Valley Mansion. From the moment we met with the staff there, we knew we were in good hands. We went with this venue because of their cultural cuisine (we did Indian and Korean food - where else can you find that?), beautiful entrance and ballroom and overall price for what we were getting. We were on a strict budget and they did everything possible to help us in that regard. Karen was our planner and she was a doll. A very unprofessional staff, especially when dealing with conflict. In seeking to have my wedding there, we signed a contract; but when we went to pay installments, the prices kept changing (upwards). When the administrative staff was approached about this, they basically said, "too bad", and told us we can't back out of the contract without paying a large sum of money as a cancellation fee. Completely unprofessional and rude. The higher up the ladder I went, the more rude they were. They even used profanity in addition to their complete bulldog mentality and stone cold approach in refusing to help us. read more

Uh, am I in the right place? I was invited to a friend's wedding and ended up in a strip mall. Utterly confused but I figured I must be in the right place as everyone else walking in had formal attire. The venue itself looks fine outside but just the fact that it is right in the middle of a gym (I think) and a couple of other stores on the other side is so odd. Nonetheless, it is beautiful on the inside and the servers were completely wonderful and the whole event was extremely well-organized. If you're looking for a venue for a special event some time soon, don't judge a book by its cover. read more

I had my wedding reception here September 20 2008. In our food tastings there was a problem with quality and the head chef met with my wife and I personally to fix the problem. Let's just say the food at the wedding was great. One warning the DJ company they subcontracted to in 08 was HORRIBLE. I recommend providing outside entertainment that is easier to vet. read more

If you could look past the fact that this venue is in a shopping center, next door to a dollar store, than you'll be ok. Had completely different expectations of this place. While it's pretty "classy" inside, I couldn't get over its location; I truly was expecting a "mansion ". Food was just OK, the quality was subpar at best. I was not impressed. It is quite spacious inside, the bathrooms were nice, probably the only thing I remember liking from this whole place. No valet, just park your car in the shopping centers parking lot. I guess I'm just spoiled by the NY and NJ wedding venues. 3 star at best. read more

I attended a 560 person breakfast at this catering all. It was packed. The staff were helpful and not intrusive. For such a large crowd it did not take long to serve us Buffet Style. The audio system could use some improvements. It's a little crackly. With such a large event parking was very very difficult. That's probably my one criticism. read more
