Had we not noticed this (and had the owner of the property not had fuel to fill it up with in the hour leading up to the ceremony), we could have had a major disaster on our hands. This error was really surprising since everything else about our experience with Elite was excellent. I loved working with every rep we dealt with, and I loved the quality of all the rentals. (Get clear panels on your tent -- it's stunning!) Because of this inconsistency, I'm chalking the generator issue up to a simple mistake -- albeit a big one -- and just recommend that no matter what rental company you use for your outdoor wedding, CHECK THAT GENERATOR EARLY.

This company is nothing short of a scam operation. I requested a refund, which they initially agreed to. Fast forward to today; one month and five days later; and not a single cent has been refunded. When I finally called to follow up, I was shocked to be told they would only refund half of my money for a service they never actually provided. That is outright theft. Their staff are untrained, rude, and lack even the most basic sense of courtesy. This experience has been exhausting and infuriating from start to finish. Save yourself the trouble and your money; avoid them at all costs. They are professional scammers who have no respect for customers.
