It has been a year or two since I was last in the area and this popped up in that timetable. I'm…read morenever sad to see a Sheetz and with me getting into town a bit earlier than I expected it was a welcome place to kill some time. With this being a new location it has the current Sheetz them with the canopy over the pumps having that slanted look. Newer building complete with a drive thru. When looking at this place, you know they knew what they were doing. Go back through street view on Google and you will see that this spot was a competitor's gas station. They just moved in, razed it, and built brand new. And with the proximity to the mall (meh) and VA hospital, they really knew that there would be a constant stream of customers coming and going. Inside, I went to use the facilities, super clean, and attempted to grab an iced tea only to find that they switched the way they dispense it now. Have I really been gone that long for them to switch to a system that isn't just fresh brewed tea and sugar? I guess so. I ended up getting some bottled water and snacks anyway, as this is my usual order of things to do when I come into town. Nice spot and it is always busy.
