We've tried all the private schools around our home without spots. Nicole was adapting well and loving the school and the After care and school administrators didn't bother even to answer Yes or No after 6 months trying waitlist and several phone calls and e-mails. The last time Ms Kim LaMondie answered "At this time we are on a waitlist. We will be sure to put Nicole on the list. I will reach out to you as soon as we open our waitlist." was on Jan/23/2023 and since then we didn't have any responses after several times trying contact. So, to not lose my job I was obligated to change my daughter to somewhere with after care. Now we drive very far every day for school. I don't think this is fair to us and our daughter always cries missing her neighborhood friends and the school - It looks like we are out of the social neighborhood now even though we live right there. We hope this situation can change because we are very unhappy to not be able to study around our home and to be excluded from the social around there for this reason. Before I could even fully explain, I was told in a rather rude and dismissive manner that they "don't have the manpower" to change children, that my daughter would need to be fully potty trained, and that she must be able to completely undress and dress herself independently to attend camp. To clarify, I was never asking anyone to "change" my child. I was simply asking if whether staff could occasionally remind her to use the potty. I was honestly surprised by the lack of patience and understanding toward a 3-year-old child. Many children this age still need reminders and occasional assistance, especially in a new environment. What made the interaction even more frustrating is that this program charges a significant amount of money for a 6-hour day, yet there seems to be very little flexibility, compassion or developmental understanding for children this young. As a parent, I left the conversation feeling judged and unwelcome. The tone and delivery were unnecessarily harsh, and it did not feel like a supportive or child-friendly interaction. Families with young children deserve to be treated with kindness and respect when asking normal developmental questions.

They were the only child care provider in the area that provides breakfast, drives the children to the elementary school, picks them up when school is over and feeds them a small meal instead of a snack when they arrive in the afternoons. The woman who runs the place is a nurse. A different daycare I visited actually told me that an example of their snacks was saltine crackers with water or lemonade. I couldn't believe it. When your child eats lunch around 11am and you work downtown and can't pick her up until 6pm, that is too long to go without something more substantial than saltines and water. I've never had any issues with payments either. Amd pricing is reasonable.

The place looks clean and organized, there's no funky smell like other daycares. The teachers look experienced and hands-on with the children. I like how small but well designed the classrooms are. There are different cribs assigned to each infant/baby. The turn over rate is fairly low. If it wasn't for the building on the side is currently being built which is next to their playground, I would considered having my child here.
