I was given a physical, but I did NOT receive a Medicare physical - and I only know this only because when I returned in 2023, the Medicare physical I received was entirely different than the one the year before. Before I went in for the physical in 2023, I asked how long it would take and the receptionist said 30 minutes. This is important to me, as I am a teacher and need to let the school know about coverage. While at the appointment, they told me they needed a urine sample. If I'd known I would not have gone to the bathroom before I left for the appointment. When the Nurse Practitioner Mann came into the room (30 minutes later) and asked about the urine sample - when I explained - she gave me a bottle of water. Why didn't her staff do that? They just kept pointing me to the bathroom and telling me to try. Also - when it was time to be weighed, I walked toward the scale - a medical looking scale - and was told, "No not that one" and they brought out a bathroom scale that was dirty and broken on one side. Whaaaaat? That appointment took an hour and 30 minutes. An hour more than what I was told!! After that hour and a half appt, I received the results of the blood work and needed a follow up appt, but - I also needed another appointment for a follow up on cat bite I'd had treated at Urgent Care. I called to make an appointment and to see if the appointments could be combined. The receptionist said she wasn't sure, but would check. I then asked how long she thought it would take if..... and before I could finish my sentence she said "30 minutes". Ugh. I was really upset and told her to let me talk to someone who knew the answers. Amandeep Mann got on the phone and I told her how I had been misinformed about the approximate length of my last appointment, and that her staff didn't seem to know answers. She said, "We are doing our best here!" And I said, "Well it's not good enough!" and she said, "Well then you can go and find another doctor!" I said, "I will!" - and that was then end of them. If a medical office does not have a staff that makes patients feel cared for, and it cannot provide what it's supposed to during an appointment, and it's a little dirty - I don't want to be there. I have a doctor at UW Valley Med now, and I feel very cared for. I do not recommend Kent Family Practice at all!!!

As a result, she doesn't see 80 patients a day for three minutes a hit. Because she doesn't churn and burn, she probably earns very little money, which means that her office isn't steel and glass and decorated by a fancy designer. And because she's spending as much time with the last patient as she will with you, you'll not see her at your scheduled appointment time. Also, if you're hurting, she'll cram you in, no matter how overbooked she is. Totally worth it. I bring a book, and get quality time with a great doc. Love her! Also: She does follow-up phone calls to ensure that you're feeling better after a visit. That's almost as rare as house calls. Which she'd probably also do if she could possibly figure out a way to make it happen.

My husband and I were having stomach pain and bloating for a while and her food allergy test + natural supplements helped us feel much better and loose weight. We now know which foods hurt us and we try to avoid them. She also helped me to control my hormonal imbalances. One thing I really like is that her clinic sells high quality supplements at the front desk. My sister in law, her husband & two kids are her patients too and they like her a lot. We definitely recommend her. Sometimes they have Interns filing and doing paperwork and that was probably what caused the problem that the reviewer above had with them. I own a business too and can totally understand that sometimes Interns don't do things perfectly and that's why they are Interns so they can have a chance to learn. I have talked to Chris (office manager) on the phone and I agree with the person who wrote the review above, it's sometimes hard to understand him but that's how his voice really is & he tries to talk as loud as he can. I think that if he is a good office manager he deserves that job even if his voice is not the best on the phone.

She's a midwife and understands natural birth and children, as well as a talented ND who makes her own tinctures. I wouldn't say that Dr. Falanga is the warmest person I've ever met, and she definitely tells you like it is, but her intuition is unmatched and she's never steered me wrong. From broken bones, to allergic reactions to late night FaceTime phone consults to informed vax info and everything in between, Dr. Falanga is a rare find. She's a great fit for my family. It's true that years ago the front desk gal wasn't very organized or friendly, and I have had to play phone tag with her insurance guy a few times. But honestly there's ALWAYS delays in medical insurance, and I've had way worse problems at other doctors' offices. The medical field is just a tad disorganized overall. BUT, they've upgraded to a well organized, quirky woman for the front desk. I've been through several insurance providers over that time and our coverage has varied but I've kept going to Nature Family Medicine even if it means paying a little more out of pocket. All in all, Dr. Falanga is a very talented Naturopath and if you're looking for a good one, definitely check her out!
