Perhaps too early to review since we've only been there once, but so far it's been great! My almost…read more5 y/o daughter said she wants to go there everyday ;) It's nothing fancy, just a huge open gym space with lots of fun equipment in the back. My daughter is doing dance camp, and here are the reasons I love this place so far: 1) The owners and dance teachers are very approachable and seem to love what they do. 2) You can sign up for one day a week, and you pay each time you bring your child - just $40 per day or a discount if you buy more at a time. This is really the best part because with summertime comes lots of vacationing, and I know I can't commit to every Monday this summer and really don't want to have to keep her there for an entire week. It's so stress-free not having a contract or having to pay up front :) 3) The structure of the day: 2 hours total of gym time, arts and craft time, lunch time (bring your own), movie/cool down time, another structured sport-type activity...all in an 8 hour day! Oh and my daughter is certain her ballet and tap days are over ;) She already came home today on her first day showing us all her new moves...she never once did that in dance class. Can you tell this mommy is excited?!

My family of four LOVES GymFit! We were first introduced to GymFit at their Yelp event, and then I…read morehosted my husband's surprise 40th birthday party here. Both great experiences. Oh and our two girls (8 and 5 years old) attended summer camp here for two weeks. The Yelp event gave us a taste of all that they offer. Fun exercise classes, aerial silks, ninja warrior courses, a huge gym for gymnasts and whoever, etc. The building isn't brand new but seems to be on the newer side as it was fairly clean (for a gym) and seemed to be in good condition (per my limited knowledge and observations lol). The staff is very enthusiastic and helpful. I might add that they are super fit, but I guess you would expect that in a gym anyway. They seem to definitely live by the philosophy of being healthy and taking care of your body. But enough of that... My two daughters' reviews were closer to 4/5 stars, but that's more due to their expected "water days" being rained out with the unexpected summer tropical storm. I wouldn't necessarily say this is a camp where they'll learn a lot, but it does promote a healthy body and exercise being a necessary step to achieving that. My 5 year old claimed to be watching a lot of movies, but I took that with a grain of salt. She's 5 of course, so I'm not always sure if she's just exaggerating and I get that her class was younger aged and probably needed more rest time. And of course the no water days could have led to more movie time. No worries though as she certainly wasn't complaining. They also offer a Friday night kids' night out that we plan to try soon. My girls are excited for this and so am I as I hope to be a fly on the wall. That's because I wanna go back myself. My husband's party was a blast. We chose to pay for the Knockerball party, and can you say, "hilarious?!" And a bit painful. Kind of like a bubble-wrapped car wreck Overall so much fun for those who participated and for those who watched. My dad posted a video of 4 of us going at it for 4 minutes, and my cousin commented, "this has to be the best video on the internet right now." So long story short, definitely go here. Check it out. Support local. Plan a party here. Birthday, work team building, anything. If the party will include adults, pay extra for the Knockerballs. You won't regret it and will have some great memories. And soreness and possibly bruises, but those will fade faster than your hilarious memories. ;-)

Everything is disgusting, not just the pool. Any other gym's upkeep is 10x better. It's sad. And do not leave anything here!!!! Forget lost and found. The staff throws it in the trash, like all my swimmer's shampoo/conditioner/body wash, swimsuit, expensive shoes... Yeah, these people are something. Highly recommend you go anywhere but here. I've finally decided it's worth it to travel 30 minutes out of my way instead just to avoid going here.

We had our sons second birthday party here and the really loved it. It was about 1.5 hours long in total, about an hour of playing and then 30 minutes of pizza/cake. During the hour of playtime, there was a combination of free play and organized activities. There was a large open play gym full of fun activities like a balance bean, uneven bars, pull up/hang bar, and a huge gym mat where kids were running around playing with balls or doing cartwheels/somersaults. The organized activities involved dancing/music, parachute circle, group pictures, and signing happy birthday. Most kids were 1-3 with just a few 4 YOs and all enjoyed in their own way. No shoes were allowed in the gym area and children under 3 had to be accompanied by an adult. All parents had to sign a waiver before their kids could start playing. Many guests did this the night before the party but some did it upon arrival. We were able to drop off decorations a few hours before the party and the staff essentially set everything up before we arrived, which was very stress free. They also did all of the cleanup, we just had to pack our belongings to bring home. Great place overall and while the location is not ideal, it's not bad enough to deduct a star.
