I use Value Mailers for all my boxes and bags - very fast service - I can't even believe how fast the boxes come to me. Always packed well and at a fantastic price. I once had an issue, but my problem was handled well and fixed promptly. Doing a great deal of shipping myself, I understand that every once in a while a mistake is made so I don't hold it against them and my customer service experience was wonderful...even when I have made mistakes myself and entered the wrong 'ship to' address they have always been kind about it and fixed it for me. I order a lot of boxes and there was only one small mistake in years of ordering. I never have to worry about stocking a massive amount of boxes because they ship so quickly I can save the space for inventory. I never get stuck without the right size box - if I need something I have it in a day or two and can still ship to my customers promptly. I like that they give me options on how many I would like to order with upfront pricing and an easy to understand discount policy - order more, better price, easy peasy. My previous box company had this whole system that just made ordering a hassle of time consuming phone calls - Value Mailers is easy and upfront...and I need that in my busy day. Value Mailers helps me run my business effectively and I really appreciate that. as of 2015 I would have to recommend if you are ordering from this company...do it through eBay. occasionally they send the wrong thing and through the website - it can be a bit of a hassle to get them to take back the the return...not that they are rude or unhelpful, there are just more annoying hoops to jump through - like sending photos and waiting days for a response and being stuck with all these large packages laying around...so at least if something goes wrong, eBay will issue a return label immediately. read more

After years as a customer, overlooking damaged orders (torn boxes, crushed corners) they finally blocked me because I filed a complaint regarding an order they fulfilled with the wrong box size. Two shipments, one arrived, wrong size. When finally responding to multiple inquiries they angrily stated that the full order was shipped as two separate orders. When confronted on them shipping the wrong size, they snapped back that the size I ordered wasn't available, so they sent a larger "more expensive" box. No thank you. Inconsistent quality and bad customer service. Purchased many orders without an issue. When purchased large quantity, we had numerous torn boxes (over 40% of order had to be thrown out). Contacted company with pic's. Even offered to return the boxes that were issue. Only response was a very small refund (not even close to covering the non-usable product). Terrible customer service! I ordered record mailers and cardboard stiffeners. The stiffeners came partially damaged. I messaged seller and they asked if a partial refund was ok. I said "yes" but never heard from them again. I sent multiple mails with no response. Also note that the outer box they were shipped in was not damaged. Absolute scam business. The quality of goods is so poor and they bundle them in a way that 10-15% of your order is unusable. It seems cheap at first but taken into account the poor quality and damaged items that need to be tossed it actually ends up being much more expensive than other comparable companies. Their claim of same day shipping is bunk. Took them closer to a week to ship the order. Non existent customer service too. Never get a response from them. Take your business elsewhere. I recently ordered boxes through Ebay from threeb which Value Mailers uses as their ebay trade name. They didn't arrive at the location given them, and when I ran the tracking number it indicated it was delivered. It may have been delivered somewhere but not to the address on the label. I started an action through ebay and the only response was their sending back the tracking report. ebay gave up and closed the case. This was only a test run for a quality sampling of their boxes. The stated shipping weight on my UPS- delivered $50 worth of mailers was 11 lbs. However, the actual weight was 22 lbs. This is relevant because when I went to the post office to return the order, the postal clerk said the cheapest shipping would be $73, or $23 more than what I paid for the original order. Could they be cheating UPS? It sure seems that way. Also, if you check their feedback on Amazon, it's the opposite of Yelp. They get about 20 five-star ratings *a day*. I didn't run out of my stock until mid August. I started using their mailers and they are splitting at the seem. I called the company and got attitude about how long it has been since my purchase. Instead of letting me know they were out of an envelope I ordered they just said nothing, then when I contacted them to ask why i never got it they sent a totally different replacement - not what I was told they would send. They should have initially canceled the order for what they were out of. When I contacted Paypal they wanted me to pay for sending back what they should have never sent as it was a materially different replacement - not something I would have agreed to. Buyer beware! Value Mailers has the cheapest colored pole bubble mailers you'll find. I went through several cases of the 6x9 mailers in both pink and blue with no problems. Ordered the 4x7 pink mailers and was really disappointed, the outer layer of poly material was totally different than what was used on the larger mailers, it was thinner and weaker. I used them anyway, and actually had a few shipments become damaged enroute, like something snagged the mailer and it ripped open, which I have NEVER had happen before and I ship thousands of packages in poly bubble mailers every year. Then I received a case of blue 6x9 mailers with holes in about 1/3 of them. I sent pictures to VM and was told that it was cosmetic, they refused to do a partial refund or anything else. The envelopes were usable, but the holes weakened the integrity of the mailer and I had to add a lot of extra tape. A few months later, they started following me on Instagram. I left a polite comment on one of their posts featuring bubble mailers that I was disappointed in the bubble mailers I had received with holes in them. They proceeded to block me! Well, after 4 years... we're DONE! We used them to get #0 bubble mailers for an online business, 1000 at a time. Last order (this Dec) we ordered 1500 to cover the busy Christmas season for us and my daughter, who also ordered 1000 and has an online business of her own. They sent the wrong size envelopes and shorted us 2 boxes of 250 ea... I then contacted 'Customer Service' (she said her name was Ashley, but later got an email from Amanda B.) and she asked if we could still use them and we said no and wanted to return them to get the right ones. She then said that we had another order coming that would help us, but that didn't have anything to do with the situation we were in, we had an immediate need for orders ready to ship now which would have been covered IF we got the right ones. After a lot of back and forth with an obviously snarky and rude 'Ashley' she agreed to email us return labels for the boxes in 'about 10 minutes'. She said she would send the correct ordered boxes out as soon as she checked the tracking to make sure we sent the wrong boxes back. That never happened. We didn't receive the return shipping labels until 7 days later AND she never shipped out the correct order or a refund. We only received the return shipping labels AFTER we contacted PayPal and opened a case. WE WON OUR PAYPAL CASE TOO!! I have never had such bad customer service!!!! Don't really know if the name she provided is correct. She wouldn't pick up the phone and she said if we sent an e-mail to her boss it would come through her anyway and she would just throw it away. We will now be using a new supplier (they have better prices and ship next day) AND not only is she losing us as a customer but also our two daughters that have online businesses. We will be sharing our new supplier with our crafting group of over 1000 members. We can see by all the bad reviews that this company doesn't care about its customer base, which seems to be dwindling down!! Waited four days then after checking my tracking the item has not shipped. So I contacted them, accordingly, there was a delay and that they would ship it that day. I was rushed off the phone so fast I can believe it. Well, that never happened. Here it is 7 day after I made my order and called in. More delays supposedly it will ship today. IT has been over 7 days no calls, email, or any information about my order. So I requested a discount off my next order because I was willing to forgive and forget. Purchased a box of small padded envelopes from this company on their eBay page. I sent a request to cancel the order but the request was denied. I figured no big deal, I will just take the mailers even tho i no longer needed them.. I sent a eBay message to make sure they understood that it was ok to go ahead and ship the item, that I did not need to cancel. They informed me the item would be shipped out on Friday Feb 27. Around Wednesday March 4th I contacted wanting to know where the package was. They stated that they were confused on if I actually wanted to cancel or if I wanted the item sent, I replied and told them to go ahead and ship it, and not to worry about the cancellation. They Promised to have it in the mail by Friday March 6th. On Monday March 9th the package STILL had not been shipped, So I contacted again trying to get to a resolution. I was told again on Monday that they thought I wanted to cancel.. At that point i started to loose my cool. I replied "If you THOUGHT I wanted to cancel, WHY didn't you refund me a week ago?" Today is Friday March 13th, The package was NEVER shipped, I am now demanding a refund. The person managing the ebay page began to get snarky with me after my quoted reply above, and is now trying to extort me to leave positive feedback before he issues me a refund. This company is ran by scam artists. Avoid at all costs. It may cost more to buy mailers elsewhere, but at least you know you aren't getting scammed in the process. AVOID at all costs. I have been a customer with Value Mailers since 2019. On the whole they are OK, but once in a while you'll get wrong orders or damaged items. However, for my latest shipment, they really went over the top with being a horrible company. I needed boxes by a certain day and they promised same day shipping but did not ship for a week later. I inquired 4 times as to the tracking of the shipment. After I did not receive any ship notification, or any response from their customer service, I emailed again to cancel the delivery. Still nothing. I followed up again. Then the next day I received a shipment notification, but I no longer needed the boxes. When I called customer service, to ask what we could do about this, they would not help me at all! I suggested we reroute the package via UPS back to them, and they flat out said they didn't want the package back and wouldn't do it. So I asked for a return label and they said they would email me their address and I would have to pay for their mistakes. Haha! They will not receive another penny from me. read more

Don't order from these guys. They are literally retarded. We ordered 5000 size 10x13 and 5000 size 7.5 x 10.5 polymailers. We received 5000 size 10x13 and only 2000 of the 7.5 x 10.5 polymailers. We contacted them and they keep telling us what they claim was in the 4 shipping boxes but refuse to believe that their content labels were not right. After 2 weeks my manager got me involved and I said this is easy to sort out. 3000 polymailers weigh at least 50 lbs. There should be a huge weight discrepancy. We checked the UPS labels which totaled 114 lbs according to the labels. We weighed one case of 1000 labels in both sizes. The total weight of the shipments should have been 201.5 lbs. So the shipment we received was 87.5 lighter than it should have been. These people just kept claiming the contents of the boxes were right and refused to even acknowledge that there is a huge weight discrepancy. They refused to weigh 1000 polymailers and explain how the total shipment could be 87 lbs lighter if they shipped everything. I think these guys are very stupid. They cannot understand the math at all. We have escalated the case on ebay and are awaiting a refund assuming ebay is smarter than these people. In future we will buy our polymailers on Amazon because this would have been resolved very quickly if Amazon had gotten involved. read more

I have been using this company for years. I recently purchased my normal tape and was sent a lower quality in half the sized rolls. When I emailed the company and told them I wasn't treated like a customer that has been doing business with them for as long as I have. I only got rude emails and never any action. I simply wanted the tape I ordered and a return label to send what I received back. I never got either one of these, just back and forth drawn out emails that never resolved anything. Amanda kept asking me over and over how I thought we should resolve this and I kept replying...I would like a return label for these and would like for you to ship what I ordered please. Ordered paper from them through Amazon. We ordered 24" x 36" News print. Received 50 lbs. of 25"x 33". (We needed exact size and the 50 lbs. batch was incorrectly cut by 3 inches!) Sent them a notice via email that the stock was incorrect. They informed me that they didn't sell paper that size. :-) I sent them pictures with a tape measure showing the size we received. I then called the company to discuss the matter. The person I spoke to rudely said, "we can give you a $5.00 dollar credit." I explained that we would prefer to have the correct size paper. She simply said, "We will send a call tag an then she hung up on me. I called back again and a person answered the phone and then hung up again without saying a word. I was a customer for several years buying mailers. Very simple. I always bought the same mailers and never had any issue. For the first time, I decided to order shipping labels in addition to the mailers. I was shipped a different product than what was shown on their web site. I wrote a polite email explaining the problem. Instead of just taking care of the problem, I was sent a series of grammatically incorrect emails ranging from argumentative to accusatory saying that I didn't know what I was talking about. Each consecutive email not only ignored what I was saying but became more and more angering. All I wanted was to either keep the $12 item with a partial refund (since I could use it but it would cost me a little more postage) or return it for a full refund. Every email response I got just continued to tell me I was wrong about the product. When I called their "customer service" # the next day, to try to resolve the problem, it became obvious that the person I had been emailing with was in the room with the woman who answered the phone and was swearing profusely and loudly in the background and telling her what to say. I just gave up at that point and resolved to never give them my business again. I found out afterward that the person that I had been communicating with was the owner, Roland. In fairness, I had no problem with the product or service up to this point. This was the first and only time I ever contacted them with any issue. The way he handled my inquiry could be used as a prime example of WHAT NOT TO DO in regards to customer service. All of this over a single $12 item. I have saved the emails and would be happy to show them to anyone who wants to see them. We had previously ordered bubble mailers from this company twice without incident. We then needed large poly bags without the bubble. We made 2 orders on the same day. 1. reorder 100 bubble mailer and 2.order 200 larger poly mailers. The company gave both orders the same tracking number. They did not ship the bubble mailers. The box we received had 500 poly bag that were smaller and cheaper than what we ordered and only a few poly bags the correct size at the top. They sent us a Paypal bill for receiving extra poly mailers and refused to mail the bubble mailers that were not shipped. note that the 500 small bags has approx the same retail price as the 200 large bags but they were trying to bill us as if the bags were all large. They refused to send a return shipping label for us to return the small poly envelopes that were received in error. They accused us of trying to send them envelopes from another company. The box clearly has the quantity of bags, size of bags and their website address on the outside. If you cannot find what you need and feel like you have to play Russian roulette with this company, do it on Amazon where you can get your money back without having to wait a long time or go through tremendous hassle if they make a mistake with your order. read more
