Pearson International Airport Terminal 1 parking Garage - Express park
    Leonard E.

First, I had expected to pay a lot for temporary (under 4 hours) airport parking. Second, I hope to easily find my vehicle after I saw my friend off on her early morning flight. Well, I was able to park and then relocate my vehicle on the 5th level of the Terminal 1 Express Parking complex. The secret was to take a cellphone photo of my parking spot with the number clearly displayed right after I parked. Look, short-term memory is just that! There is plenty of signage in both English and French language directing people to/from the parking garage into Terminal 1. At the exit gate, I inserted my parking ticket into the reader and WHOA...$32 popped up as the payment requested. After tapping my credit card on the payment pad, a receipt was issued and the gate opened. I'm glad this trip took place during off-hours because I really had to pay attention to the signage directing me into the EXPRESS PARK lot of this garage. The other choice was DAILY PARK (over 4 hours) and there you pay by the day or week.

Competitive pricing and good service. Parking lot has a small entrance that could be missed easily.

The parking lot is 100% better since installing the new ticket machines.

I don't have much to add other than when I go, I find it pretty easy to get around. Though, I can understand the suicidal comment. Nice!

Since I had an international marriage, I didn't have any family or relatives here. So, we decided to register at the city hall. The whole process was quite smooth and fast. First, you have to purchase the marriage license. Once you have the marriage license, you can call the hotline and book the chapel. They can offer their officiant (at an extra cost) or you can bring your own. Then, you will have 30 minutes to use the venue. We were satisfied because we just wanted to register first and then have more spare time to organize another local and overseas dinner later. Highly recommended!

With it's gorgeous bright atrium coloured of emerald inside, convenient underground parking below, connection to the Art Gallery of Mississauga for culture and the fact that it opens up onto the gorgeous Celebration Square --Mississauga's City Hall encapsulates all the best parts of a major civic centre that you would expect from one of Canada's largest cities. I've lived in the GTA my entire life, have driven past the city and town halls of almost every city and town in Peel and York Region, but none compare the hybrid beauty of perfectly manicured (and clean) public space fused with modern architecture. It is the perfect homage to what Mississauga is - part big city, part suburb!
