The mall is not as busy and as large as Square One (even during busy weekends and holidays). Parking is pretty large and easy to find. The mall is accessible by public transit, too. The layout reminds me a bit like Sherway Gardens, expect the walkways-concourse ("hallway") don't loop around to the center. It is pretty easy to get around and find a particular store. Some stores (like Miniso, Sunrise Records, Garage, maybe the Walmart) at Erin Mills are larger compared the same ones at Square One. Also, stores and restaurants not attached to the main building are easy to get to (ex. Indigo, One Plant, IHOP, Dollarama, Pizza Pizza, etc). read more

I visited this mall for the first time on 2021.09.24. Businesses are finally able to go full throttle with the introduction of Ontario's "Proof of Vaccination" policy in eat-in venues and gyms and it was nice to feel like shopping is getting to be a "back to normal" experience (masks notwithstanding, of course.) It's quite accessible from 400-series routes and not too far off the 403. It's close to where the new Credit Valley hospital was opened at Eglinton Ave. W. There's plenty of parking. I'd say it's pretty much like shopping at Fairview Mall, which is the mall that came to mind for comparison's sake. It's not just a neighbourhood mall, it's definitely in the destination mall category. It's huge, with escalators for each wing, although not two in each direction. There's only one to go from the food court to the lower level and vice versa. The food court is nicely organized as a separate area and has a beautiful, all-glass walled enclosure for the seating. There are plenty of food options. It looks quite a bit like Yorkdale's food court. There's a Walmart and a Shoppers for your all purpose, basic, household needs. Pretty good anchor stores. I believe there's a Hudson's Bay as well but I didn't get anywhere near the entire layout and offerings of the whole mall. I'd be curious to know what services they offer at Christmas and Easter time, e.g., whether you get photo or wrapping services offered for the big holidays. I have seen the other photos that show the decor they put up for the winter holidays so, I imagine coming here at Christmas time to buy a fancy beverage and walk around is quite pleasant. If I had the energy to drive out here for a holiday mall experience, I certainly would come again. I would definitely come back if I just happened to be in the area. This mall has a huge parking area. Lots of stores and coffee shops, like Timothys, Starbucks, Tim Horton and a food court which has something for everyone. There is an area that is made for kids to play around with their parents/friends. Very nicely done, for every occasion like valentine's day it's decorated with red flowers, which looks really pretty, lots of people take pictures. Now its thanksgiving they put lots of pumpkins which really looks nice. Always festive. During Christmas, they put a huge Christmas tree which looks amazing. I find that you cant get better deals and sales here than other big malls like Square 1. read more

I have to say the mall has actually lost a lot of good stores since the renovation. The place looks beautiful yet every girl I know doesn't want to shop there because "they dont have any stores". I also see a lot of empty stores or stores that open and close all the time. The theatre is nice addition but has very little movies. I think they should provide value by giving people the stores they know and want. An attractive building and services might get people to visit sometimes but it won't get women to shop there for 8 hours. Just my opinion. read more

It's my go to for quick run ins. The mall isn't too crowded so it's great for air conditioned walking with elderly folks. There are washroom facilities and plenty of sitting areas. Parking is accessible on all sides of the mall. Just remember what you enter the mall because different floors will lead you to different lots. If you're not a fan of mall food there are local places to eat a block away. read more

I love this mall and have seen it continue to re-develop over the past 30 plus years. It's a beautiful neighbourhood and many anchors stores have come and gone. Still, this a well as Square One are my favourite and I enjoy coming here to shop, browse or eat in the food court. read more

Nice mall to meet up for a car show in the parking lot. This one was a cancer benefit show with entry money ($20 per show car) going to research. Police were organizing and running the show which was cool. The swag bags were loaded with nice stuff too. As well there were sponsors providing free burgers at one booth, free coffee at another as well as free Monster energy drinks at a pickup truck. Interesting crowd and stellar combination of classic cars, mostly Detroit Iron. read more

Late last summer, I decided to visit this mall. I ended up getting my nails done. Afterwards, I got hungry and visited the food court. I occasionally crave Taco Bell. I got two soft shell tacos, nachos supreme, and a Diet Pepsi. I usually hold the sour cream, which the folks did well. I got my lunch fix. I sat by the window. It was nice to unwind and take a break from walking around. The mall definitely looked much different since I last was there over a decade ago! It has what I need. Bathrooms in the food court are always dirty. And the food court is getting a curry chicken restaurant. That is going to smell up the food court in a bad way. They should rename this mall Asian Mall because of the clientele. This place is like living in Malton. The Walmart makes this mall look cheap. Shopping carts being left all over the parking lot. No one bringing them back during the day. Lazy mall staff. And the construction on the South west side has been going on for years. When will it be completed? this decade? This mall used to be nice in 1990's. Now... it's less welcoming and enjoyable. read more

2.5 star I always feel so displaced when I walking around in one of the "Town Centre". They all have similar stores, similar merchanises, similar food court offerings...and same depressing people.... I hate when I started going around in circles..and forgot which entrance I came in and where I should exit.... Was it "A" or "3" ? "Lower" or "Upper"? Did I walk pass that stores again? How come I am at a dead end? I have to give Erin Mills Town Centre some credits! At least even if I got lost and got so tired going around in circles... I can at least lounge out in those comfy cushioned sofas set up like a little tropical oasis...even with palm trees as decoration! BTW, there were even free entertainment as I watching this young couple making out under one of the palm trees.. (no photos were taken, as I respect their "privacy"!) 3.5 stars. Lots of parking outside and a large food court with several options. One restaurant inside for sit down meal. several areas being renovated or stores closed. I like the big open concept and the open turf area on the lower level. It needs some higher brand stores as some stores seem so empty. There is an indoor playground now too! read more

Ok so I haven't been to this mall a few times living in Mississauga my whole life! But let me tell you even with the renovations they can't seem to breathe life into this mall! It is the most boring and uneventful mall. I think the store selections are not up to par and with the few stores that are I'd rather go to a mall that had everything I wanted instead of having to go multiple places. I don't know why this mall struggles so much! Perhaps it's missing something, or maybe it really is just a bad selection of stores. No Starbucks... maybe that's the key to every good mall ha ha a Starbucks! Not to mention the food court is also uneventful. I think one day they'll figure the formula out. The subway in the food court is run by this ONE guy (at least in the front) that barely speaks english, and by the looks of it is brand new. He came up to me (with one guy in front of me in line), asked me what I wanted, I asked him for a one of their bowls and he walked away and helped the other customer, then asked me again what I wanted. On top of that he made the whole thing wrong, putting things in the wrong order, and also serving multiple customers which he couldnt stay on top of. He asked me how i would like to pay and I saw in the bowl he forgot the rice, which is like the main ingridient along with the chicken. Finally to top it off I asked him for a to go bag and he put one on the table and I had to put the things in the bag. I dont mean to sound stuck up, but I was on my lunch break from a really hard day at work and I just wanted to eat a good bowl. Not to mention he barely gave me any food in the bowl... For $20 I am very disapointed and angry about this. read more

It saddens me to see how much this mall is being wasted. Many will associate Erin Mills Town Centre with its recent renovations, its status as a feeder mall for the kids at a nearby secondary school or all the shops and strip malls that have been grafted to the outside like some Frankenbeast. For me, I will always associate EMTC with the mini-golf course that used to be located in the centre court. Going to see movies at the theatre way back at the turn of the millennium. The old HMV where one of my good friends from high school worked. These days, it's just depressing to see what this mall is, which is a shame because it's absolutely beautiful. I came here for a ceremony in the centre court - the Legends Row induction, which honored residents of the city for their contributions to community life, etc. I had the chance to take a walk around the mall and see some of the work that's been done since I last visited years ago. If there is a reason to come here, it's for the food court. Light-years better than what it used to be, they've replaced the gaudy brown-and-beige chairs with a lighter color scheme, added a massive elevator that comes up from the lower floor, added much more seating space and diversified the food options (it's less fried Chinese food and more healthy eating, despite the presence of longtime mainstays A&W and Bourbon St. Grill). I sat for a while and just looked around, marveling at the work that had been done and how expansive the place felt for the first time in years. I wish I could say the same thing about the rest of the mall. While the revamped centre court is beautiful and a great spot for community events (like the aforementioned induction ceremony), the outer arms are desolate. I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 1 p.m. - which should be peak shopping time, and found the corridors devoid of foot traffic. There's still construction going on, some stores were either closed or haven't been re-leased since going vacant, and there's a weird malaise about the whole place. Even the Sears (which is in the process of going bankrupt) was sparsely populated - no sales, a few people just walking around aimlessly and the staff looking lost. Yes, I know. Square One stole the thunder, and perhaps rightfully so. That shouldn't stop EMTC from carving out its own identity, though. Instead of these patchwork upgrades, the owners would do well to hash out a marketing campaign with a strong branding message or bring in more high-end stores, because I don't know who this place would appeal to. The low visitor numbers on a Saturday afternoon were downright ABYSMAL, and the only action was in the centre court for the aforementioned ceremony, which was free. It seems this place is stuck in the 90s. I did have the opportunity to meet the mall's marketing head, and did hear from her that they hold a lot of events at the mall. That's good... but it's not enough. Were it not for a handful of anchor stores (Walmart, the detached Indigo, Hudson's Bay) and the few attractions, this place would have been dead in the water years ago. It pains me to say that, because I love this place. I have so many fond memories of experiences, which makes me wonder if it's simply a general downward trend in retail interest or if there's some underlying problem that needs to be addressed here. Yeah, it was cool getting some photo ops with local celebrities, but that doesn't help the mall pay the bills at the end of the day. I would hope to see EMTC roar back and reclaim some of its lost glory, but I fear that's going to take a long, long time, if ever. Regardless, there are some interesting sights here. Just don't go out of your way to visit if you don't have to. read more

It is not Square One and is much smaller. I have been coming here over the decades every time we were in town visiting family and have a lot of fond memories. All the basic stores are there and they have a decent food court. read more

Tip: Contrary to reports, this mall is still under construction. The major stuff is done, but I saw at least 2 active construction sites in the mall, plus some rough flooring that needed refinishing. If you're middle aged+, a John Fraser student, someone who lives within the immediate vicinity of the mall, or have social anxiety disorder, then this mall's for you! Evidence? There is a Walking On A Cloud & one of the last remaining Sears locations. The mall itself is a decent size, but there is absolutely ZERO draw at the moment. Apparently, Walmart's coming in this year, so maybe that will help...but there is a Walmart a few blocks away at South Common Mall. The reason why EMTC fails to draw crowds, in addition to the ZERO draw, is that the stores are redundant and can be found either nearby or at Square One. If you hate crowds, I guess you can shop at the Pandora, BCBG, & Old Navy (much cleaner, I'm sure) here. Otherwise, bear with the crowds at Square One AND be able to shop at better, slightly more exciting stores! The upgrade with the floor-to-ceiling glass Food Court is breath-taking though, but you don't really go to a mall for the bright food court. Honestly, aside from the size, this mall feels more like a neighbourhood place. read more

Nice little smallish mall in Mississauga. It is located near the Credit Valley Hospital. It has essential stores like any mall would have like Sears, The Bay. They also have H&M and Old Navy, American Eagle, Gap, blue notes and etc.... There is plenty of parking at mall. The mall is a little hard to navigate as it has a lot of dead ends... so make sure you navigate the map at first. The good thing is that its not too crowed and the stuff doesn't run out like Square one. On a separate note - don't park here for the hospital visits as they do clamp cars. read more

This mall has a lot of choices and it has ample parking space. It also has a Walmart and you can do your grocery then go shopping. However due to the pandemic, most stores are closed. I went to the food court and bought some food from Jimmy the Greek. I see that most of the restaurants in the food court are open. However, 1 stars because I got tricked by some unscrupulous salespeople who are giving away free samples. I just want to give a friendly warning to the shoppers--- don't get any free samples or there is a possibility you may get lured into a store that will coerce you into buying their products - the store was called "Resveralife" or something like that but I think they change their company names frequently. Anyways, I was forced to buy this $200 cream and the salesperson (there was 2 of them and I was alone) tried to sell me this product which they said was over $3,000 but they are going to give me a discount. I told them I don't have the money but they wouldn't let me leave and kept pushing me. Eventually I felt scared and caved in to buying the $200 product and the salespersons asked me to get the $3000 product and even followed me to the car to have me get my I.D. card and did not give me the $200 product I already paid for and they said they'll keep it there and asked me to get my I.D. And I felt so trapped and it was a horrible experience. I hope that the malls don't allow these kinds of stores and salespeople to set up shop but they might not have the capacity of stop them. Anyways I think they would have less people to coerce now because of the pandemic and that store is probably closed which is a big relief. That's my crazy experience and just wanted to share with people to be careful out there because I was so naive and thought is was a free sample but of course as the saying goes, nothing is really free in life!! read more

Love going to this mall, the food court is spacious and has food for everyone's taste, Chinese, meditarean, fries, burgers and much more. Lots of parking area, very clean, buses come after every half hour. It's always busy with people especially families with kids. There is a little play area/relaxing area for people and it looks very comfortable. Lots of shopping choices, phone kiosk, coffee shops, barbers. Wish there was some store like Apple/Microsoft. read more

This is my preferred mall in the Mississauga area. It provides a nice balance between having pretty much everything you need yet not being insanely busy all the time. We will often even come to this mall just to go for a walk when the weather is not befitting a walk outdoors. If you want to avoid the hectic Square One or driving from store to store in Heartland, this is the place to go. read more

I was here last year when the place was under renovation. The mall now looks fab! Huge hallways, more store are now open. Some stores to open soon. I like the high ceiling food court. It gives a feeling of space and vastness. The glass walls and ceiling has a zen feeling with the blue sky as back drop. They food choices are pretty much the same as other mall food courts. A great regional mall that isn't too busy like SQ1. After the massive renovations, the mall has updated its image. I really love the food court as the ceilings are high and there are lots of seating. There are even outdoor seating too which is unique. They can expand the mall like what Sherway has done and still have ample parking. read more

Nice mall to shop at for regular daily clothes but most stores carry smaller selection then other malls and some items in stores are a bit outdated. I can't here to grab a fruit juice from inside the mall and a sweater from I don't know what store yet. read more

If you know me, you know that I do NOT like malls. Walking through, let alone shopping at, malls like Square One or Metrotown in BC make me break out into hives. (OK, not really but just about.) That said, I had to go here because I'd booked an appointment for med-spa that happened to be located inside. (Had I realized that it was located in a mall I would not have even gone.) So the first time I went I was so stressed to realize I had to actually walk through the mall. I arrived in the parking lot and called to find out where exactly the med-spa was located so that I could find the nearest entrance to park at. Parking was no problem, there were plenty of spaces. I went in and to my surprise, it was easy to navigate through and there were not many customers roaming around. Cool. I had my appointment and left the mall unscathed. Since then I've been back 5 or 6 times and not only have I gone to the med-spa but I've also done some shopping there. They have a good selection of stores and I have yet to find the place chaotic. Of all the malls in all the lands, I actually don't mind this one. read more

I am not really a fan of Malls to begin with but I agree with the previous review that this is one of the least crazy ones. Although I have to also say that it is one of the ugliest ones too. The only reason we really come to this mall is shopping for the Kids at Old Navy, Kids Gap and the Outdoor Store right beside Old Navy which I forgot the name of right now because it switches so often. Otherwise parking is never an issue no matter what time of day it is I always seem to find a parking spot right by the entrance. Right now they also have Santa at the Mall and he has a really nice spot situated right in the center below the clock. When I took my daughter this evening to see him the line up consisted of 2 people, us and the people in front of us. read more

SQUARE ONE MANCHU WOK Okay, so they didnt have the Manchu Wok in Square One listed, but this is the one im talking about. It was disgusting. My friend and i decided to split a plate, because their portions are pretty big, and we were abbout half way dont eating and found a long black strand of hair in it. i felt like puking, so we went back to them and wanted a refund. They wouldnt give us a refund, but said they would give us another plate to replace the last one. WELL, i certainly did not want another, so i sat it out, but my friend was still hungry so she said fine. bad idea. in the SECOND batch there was another hair!!!! after THAT one they gave us our refund, but by that time our appetites were completely done. it was so nasty, there is no way i could ever eat there again. read more

This mall has definitely improved since I've first visited. But the hallways are still confusing. If you go down one hallway, it's a dead end and you have to walk out of that hallway to get to where you want to go. There are so many renovations going on inside and outside the mall. This is probably my favorite mall. I love the fact that there is an indoor playground for kids now. You got everything you need without having to go to Square one. A smaller version of Square One, but with ample parking minus the crowds. Nothing special about this mall, but I like their "Centre Court" where they sometimes have mini-golf for kids and where Santa Claus is. The only weird issue about this mall is that it's kind of confusing. It's not really a square, not really a circle, but it's more of an octagon shape with some weird intersections, so it's very easy to get somewhat lost. Not really lost, but sometimes, you end up going all the way around the Centre court, when in reality, the exit where your car is parked was the closest exit lol. read more

back in the mid nineties, my family used to use this mall for its parking lot, to go over to the hospital to avoid paying for parking, that probably sounds bad, and I wouldn't recommend trying that in this day and age. this malls construction seems never ending, but the end surely is in sight. to be brutally honest, I only come to this mall for green earth, and only if I am in the area, its not a mall that offers anything else to me, but im sure if you check the directory, you might find something worth coming to see. I only say that cause its hard having a mall so close to sq.1...just my two cents. Panera bread, chapters and lcbo are conveniently located outside of the mall, which I honestly have visited more often then the mall itself! sad I know. come check it out! Ahh I remember the good ol' days when I used to skip school with my friends and come to this mall...and just spend money like no tomorrow. Irresponsible? ...yes I know. One of the things that I really found neat to this tiny (but big enough to shop in) mall was that If you were looking for something specific you would most likely find it here. Or if you were looking for anything good to buy, you would most likely leave the mall not empty handed. You know why? Its because, unlike Square one, you don't get overwhelmed with all the stores you pass by. If I go to square one sometimes I won't find anything because it's so overwhelming, In EMTC though I almost always find something. Here, you deal with what you got and will most likely leave with something that you weren't expecting to get, but will most likely go home and like it. It has essential stores like any mall would have like Sears and Zellers (which is now going to be called Target), a food court in the second level with a nice view of the parking lot. Lots and lots of parking. And last but not least the Big Clock on a tower on the top of the mall, so If your ever in the Erin Mills area and need the time, you know where to come to. Whenever I get lazy to go to Square one, I end up coming here since its more convenient for me. So, I shall be back. read more

The tough life this mall has had. The many facelifts the mall continues to have. The mall was originally created with four large stores on each wing with an almost community feeling centre. Now they have tried to refresh that same concept with one exception. The wings are dying out. First it was target, only to be brought back with Walmart. Now Sears. As the large anchors die, the small stores filling up the wings leading up to the large stores are dying out due to lower traffic patterns. The mall is lovely, and the light that shines through is wonderful. I just feel the mall keeps loosing traffic and thus stores cause it's wings based on large stores has been the downfall of why the mall isn't the best in the GTA read more

As malls in Mississauga go this will always be rated number 2 behind Square One of course. They recently had new owners which meant that they have renovated he whole mall and are getting close to being done. Soon there will be a Wal-Mart which will complete the mall. If you haven't been here in a while it is worth checking out and seeing the new shops. read more

Opening day at their recently renovated food court, what a buzz. It looks great, however some of the outlets have not opened yet but the seating area is great, the selection of venders is excellent, and offers lots of diversity. Its open, and bright with lots of natural light, and their opening day promotions were very generous with samples from each outlet plus tons of swag and promotion from every corner of the mall. The bottom line is they finally put some money into this mall to rejuvinate it (no thanks to Target of course) So I'm a fan and will most certainly return. I hope they finish the reno soon, it would be good to get it back up to par and unobstructed throughout the entire mall. But so far, they have done a great job. read more

Came to this mall for the first time, heard a lot about how dead it was, but came to my surprise how much I loved the fact that it wasn't your average hectic and stressful mall. I was very surprised at the size of the stores and the mall decor was beautiful. It was all 5 stars for me so far, except for 20 minutes in to the experience where I decided to stop for a drink at Starbucks. The barista was smiling as always, but was very rude and kept refusing my order when I tried getting a drink with my Starbucks card because my drink 'did not meet the requirements' yet I always got that drink at other locations, AND my friend whom I went out with was being served by the other barista beside us, and got the exact same thing with their card with no problem. I was very upset with the lack of knowledge and poor customer service that I was given and will 100% never go back to this location. This experience made me very uneasy and left a bad taste of the mall for me which was really disappointing. read more
