It's my go to for quick run ins. The mall isn't too crowded so it's great for air conditioned walking with elderly folks. There are washroom facilities and plenty of sitting areas. Parking is accessible on all sides of the mall. Just remember what you enter the mall because different floors will lead you to different lots. If you're not a fan of mall food there are local places to eat a block away.

I love this mall and have seen it continue to re-develop over the past 30 plus years. It's a beautiful neighbourhood and many anchors stores have come and gone. Still, this a well as Square One are my favourite and I enjoy coming here to shop, browse or eat in the food court.

    Free coffee thank goodness.

Nice mall to meet up for a car show in the parking lot. This one was a cancer benefit show with entry money ($20 per show car) going to research. Police were organizing and running the show which was cool. The swag bags were loaded with nice stuff too. As well there were sponsors providing free burgers at one booth, free coffee at another as well as free Monster energy drinks at a pickup truck. Interesting crowd and stellar combination of classic cars, mostly Detroit Iron.

2.5 star I always feel so displaced when I walking around in one of the "Town Centre". They all have similar stores, similar merchanises, similar food court offerings...and same depressing people.... I hate when I started going around in circles..and forgot which entrance I came in and where I should exit.... Was it "A" or "3" ? "Lower" or "Upper"? Did I walk pass that stores again? How come I am at a dead end? I have to give Erin Mills Town Centre some credits! At least even if I got lost and got so tired going around in circles... I can at least lounge out in those comfy cushioned sofas set up like a little tropical oasis...even with palm trees as decoration! BTW, there were even free entertainment as I watching this young couple making out under one of the palm trees.. (no photos were taken, as I respect their "privacy"!) Erin Mills Town Centre is a good mall to browse around if you are on a budget..because basically you might never see anything you like and ended up you won't buy anything and you have your leisure walk without spending any money!

Ok so I haven't been to this mall a few times living in Mississauga my whole life! But let me tell you even with the renovations they can't seem to breathe life into this mall! It is the most boring and uneventful mall. I think the store selections are not up to par and with the few stores that are I'd rather go to a mall that had everything I wanted instead of having to go multiple places. I don't know why this mall struggles so much! Perhaps it's missing something, or maybe it really is just a bad selection of stores. No Starbucks... maybe that's the key to every good mall ha ha a Starbucks! Not to mention the food court is also uneventful. I think one day they'll figure the formula out. As of right now...not there yet.

It saddens me to see how much this mall is being wasted. Many will associate Erin Mills Town Centre with its recent renovations, its status as a feeder mall for the kids at a nearby secondary school or all the shops and strip malls that have been grafted to the outside like some Frankenbeast. For me, I will always associate EMTC with the mini-golf course that used to be located in the centre court. Going to see movies at the theatre way back at the turn of the millennium. The old HMV where one of my good friends from high school worked. These days, it's just depressing to see what this mall is, which is a shame because it's absolutely beautiful. I came here for a ceremony in the centre court - the Legends Row induction, which honored residents of the city for their contributions to community life, etc. I had the chance to take a walk around the mall and see some of the work that's been done since I last visited years ago. If there is a reason to come here, it's for the food court. Light-years better than what it used to be, they've replaced the gaudy brown-and-beige chairs with a lighter color scheme, added a massive elevator that comes up from the lower floor, added much more seating space and diversified the food options (it's less fried Chinese food and more healthy eating, despite the presence of longtime mainstays A&W and Bourbon St. Grill). I sat for a while and just looked around, marveling at the work that had been done and how expansive the place felt for the first time in years. I wish I could say the same thing about the rest of the mall. While the revamped centre court is beautiful and a great spot for community events (like the aforementioned induction ceremony), the outer arms are desolate. I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 1 p.m. - which should be peak shopping time, and found the corridors devoid of foot traffic. There's still construction going on, some stores were either closed or haven't been re-leased since going vacant, and there's a weird malaise about the whole place. Even the Sears (which is in the process of going bankrupt) was sparsely populated - no sales, a few people just walking around aimlessly and the staff looking lost. Yes, I know. Square One stole the thunder, and perhaps rightfully so. That shouldn't stop EMTC from carving out its own identity, though. Instead of these patchwork upgrades, the owners would do well to hash out a marketing campaign with a strong branding message or bring in more high-end stores, because I don't know who this place would appeal to. The low visitor numbers on a Saturday afternoon were downright ABYSMAL, and the only action was in the centre court for the aforementioned ceremony, which was free. It seems this place is stuck in the 90s. I did have the opportunity to meet the mall's marketing head, and did hear from her that they hold a lot of events at the mall. That's good... but it's not enough. Were it not for a handful of anchor stores (Walmart, the detached Indigo, Hudson's Bay) and the few attractions, this place would have been dead in the water years ago. It pains me to say that, because I love this place. I have so many fond memories of experiences, which makes me wonder if it's simply a general downward trend in retail interest or if there's some underlying problem that needs to be addressed here. Yeah, it was cool getting some photo ops with local celebrities, but that doesn't help the mall pay the bills at the end of the day. I would hope to see EMTC roar back and reclaim some of its lost glory, but I fear that's going to take a long, long time, if ever. Regardless, there are some interesting sights here. Just don't go out of your way to visit if you don't have to.

Because it covers such a vast area, it's best to figure out which stores you'd like to visit and drive over to them. The stores range from outlets to regular retail. You also have eateries and professional services mixed in for good measure. My go-to stores tend to be Winners, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Gap Outlet, and Krispy Kreme. The first two are next door from each other, so it's a two-for-one shopping extravaganza for me. I have found some nice merchandise at good prices at both stores. I love this Gap Outlet, as I have scored some nice discounts on jackets and clothing. I don't consume donuts often, but I love Krispy Kreme to the point where I've been known to do a donut run before heading back to the office. It takes me fifteen minutes to get here from my workplace. It's deadly and cool. Besides the stores that I have just mentioned, here's a running list of stores at Heartland that I have visited so far: - Bath & Body Works - Best Buy - Loblaws - Marshalls - Old Navy - Roots - Seafood City Supermarket Here are eateries that I have stuffed my face at: - Grill City - Heart Sushi - Jollibee - Tandoori Flame There are so many stores and eateries. I haven't visited them all yet. It'll take a while! Here are some stores and eateries that I'd like to visit: - Beanwise - Bergham - California Sandwiches - Copper Branch - Crocs - Mr Puffs - The Chopped Leaf I've never had any issues parking. I've dropped by on countless Saturdays and Sundays. It can get crazy, but I always find parking. It's cool shopping here. I feel the need to get some retail therapy now! (212)

This eatery was located at Meadowvale Town Centre, which is a mixed indoor-outdoor mall. Swiss Chalet isn't connected to the indoor mall. It makes sense, as this eatery stays open well past the mall's closing time. Next door to Swiss Chalet is Jersey Mike's Subs. Technically, it is a part of the indoor part of the mall. However, when you're in the mall itself, it says to come outside to enter the eatery. It's probably not the best setup when it's frigid outside, which was the case when I visited. However, when it's warm, walking outdoors isn't as taxing. I checked out Your Dollar Store with More. It's only accessible inside the mall. It's a decent dollar store. It doesn't have as many food items and snacks as I had hoped, though. I saw Metro while I was at the mall. It's accessible from the mall and externally. I had no problem finding parking. I will say that some folks trying to park are scary. Take care when you're here, as both a driver and a pedestrian. This mall does have bus terminal, which is helpful if you are getting to and from this mall using public transit. There are a lot of eateries here that I need to explore. The downside to a mixed indoor-outdoor mall is figuring out what stores you want to visit, and whether they are indoors or outdoors. If you're driving, you need to figure out where you should park to access the stores that you need. (482)

My quick history at this place: -Old school mall similar to Dixie Outlet mall with locally owned stores with Woolco, Dominion and a few banks. -Wal-Mart moved in to replace Woolco. Business improved at this mall (was a much better anchor store than Woolco). -Wal-Mart moved out without an anchor store and foot traffic decreased (this is in contrast to the belief that Wal-Mart doesn't help small businesses). -After Wal-Mart moved out, most of the mall was demolished with the exception of the side where Dominion sat (now called Metro) and also has a library, a couple of clothing shops . -This was replaced by an outdoor mall which now has plenty of restaurants, a Goodlife Fitness. Tim Hortons, etc. My overall verdict here: You don't shop here, you just eat here. If you are in the area, just come to this mall, and there should be plenty of things to eat. I particularly like Symposium Cafe and Pho Mi 89.

I parked in front of this Walmart Supercentre twice to visit stores near it. I feel better about dropping by this one because it has two floors and it doesn't feel massive. Both times, I parked on the second floor. I like that it has gates that recognize when you are there. They automatically open without your touching them. The washrooms are immediately on the left when you walk into the store on the second floor. It reminds me of how Target was set up when it was still in Canada. I'm guessing that it may have been one years ago. The women's washroom was clean both visits. You don't get paper towels to dry your hands. Instead, there are two hand-dryers, but only the one installed closer to the ground one works. Figures for the person who is taller! The bottom floor is where the grocery section and pharmacy are. I didn't need anything on this floor. If you do, it's best to park on the bottom floor. The second floor has children's clothing, electronics, and more. There are staff at each entrance-exit area, including to and from the mall. The catch with the mall entrance-exit areas is that they close after 7 pm. When I was here on Monday night, it was after 7 pm. I saw the first floor entrance from the mall close. I was fortunate to have entered the store on the second floor just before it closed. I thanked the guy who let me go through. Otherwise, I would have spent more time exiting the mall and walking outside to get to my car. There is lots of parking in front of the store. Both times, I managed to park fairly close to the entrance. Shopping here does have a more casual vibe. It wasn't as crazy as it can be at a typical Walmart and shoppers were more courteous than I had expected. There are both self-checkouts and regular ones with humans. I had a couple of decent experiences here. I'd return when I'm back in the area. (380)

It's close to my house, small enough that I can navigate it quickly. I'm elderly. The store is fairly well stocked, except for housewares and women's plus sizes. It's clean, staff are friendly, great selection, fair pricing. I have never had a complaint until October 3, 2025. After waiting in line a while, I was served by ELLEN . We didn't get off to a great start. I handed her my winners bag to put my purchases in. She told me to bag it myself! I always help, just not when I'm ordered to. My total was about $215. I gave her cash, $220. In 11. $20bills. She counted it 3 times. I finally told her she needed basic math skills. No yelling, no swearing. She got all defensive and mouthed something rude. She then became overwhelmed and went to count it for the 4th time! . Finally a lady came over, told her to relax, breathe, and finished off the sale for ELEN. Ellen was a teenager, caucasion, long brown hair. I'd really like to know who thought this girl would be an asset and a good fit working a register and dealing with customers. I don't believe she had any training whatsoever. I was not impressed at all ( she had a small brain and a big mouth). October 5th, I was shopping again. ELEN was working cash. When it was my turn, I got Ellen. I don't think so, no way! I told the person behind me to go first. As I was being rung through by another cashier, a very nice one, I guess Ellen was finished her shift. She thought it would be cool to interrupt the sale, give the cashier a huge, fake hug, and discuss her work schedule. I was not impressed. It is then that I decided to write a review. I realized we all have to start somewhere, but why stick someone on cash that can't count? We are not a cashless society yet. Many teenagers would love to have a job in this economy, for extra spending money. This girl doesn't deserve this job. I think she should be retrained in cash and social skills, how to talk to a customer, especially elderly customers who grew up with manners. Maybe the stockroom or a factory is more up her ally. . Marshall's should be more careful who they hire to represent their store. If this is who they chose, I would hate to see who they rejected!!
