Absolutely terrible when it comes to service! The seals failed and fogged up the space between panes in a quarter moon window I purchased from them. After 5 years they still hadn't rectified it - this after 4 on site visits and re-measurements and countless excuses blaming supply from the United States, shipping hold ups, Covid and changeover of staff and many unanswered phone messages, emails and written letters. I ended up moving for other reasons so god knows what happened with the new owners. Go elsewhere for your windows and doors! read more

I had windows installed by Van Dohler's of Owen Sound. The workmanship and windows were acceptable but their quote was way too high for the wood sill and trim molding. I had left overs that amounted to approximately $500.00 in excess and they would take no responsibility for the over estimate and no credit or apology was given. The estimator said just keep the wood ( whish I have no use for) or they would pick it up but no credit. UNACCEPTABLE read more

Had an egress window installed in my basement. Van Dolder's staff were very professional & helpful with any questions I had before installation. I was aware of what the cost was going to be before the window was put in & it was definitely worth it. The difference the egress window made in the basement is so amazing, that I asked Van Dolder's to install 2 more windows downstairs. I've been very happy with their service. read more
