For $2 K they would top up with this special insulation. I said no thanks and called Grey Bruce coatings and insulation who came and told me my cellulose insulation was fine. It had settled a bit but by adding more I might bring it up to new home standards but it really wouldn't be noticeable in comfort or in reducing my gas bill. I felt they were being honest unlike the smooth sales pitch I was getting from the first company.
