A winery for people who go for the taste, not the ambience. This is a relatively new winery, but they've been growing grapes for a long time. The tasting room may be the cinder block and steel cellar, but it's pure gold in the glass every vintage we've had. The whites are well balanced and substantial, there is a well priced Vidal late harvest, and you get a vertical tasting of some of the reds, which are all drinkable now but clearly worth aging as well. Consistent, reasonably priced, and all about the wine...five stars. read more
