He seemed knowledgeable and took the time to show me various floors and had answers to all my questions. I instantly trusted him which is why my disappointment later was greater. I was specifically looking for vinyl floors as I have a senior dog that often has accidents. V said there are waterproof laminate as well and that he would show me what they have and I should focus on the quality of the floor instead of vinyl vs laminate (European being the best) Most of the floors I liked were out of stock so I went with my 4th favorite (laminate). Everything was smooth at the beginning. When I went to see the floors in my new apartment, I saw the box of flooring and to my surprise it had no mention of it being waterproof ... There were few issues along the way so I got concerned and contacted the manufacture directly instead of Phoenix Flooring. The response was that it was not waterproof nor water resistant and that they would NOT recommend their product for my purpose ... It was shocking and totally puzzling. Why would they recommend something completely opposite to what I am looking for and specifically indicated as priority? I was truly disappointed but I was moving in on Dec. 20, 2020 and it will take weeks to order new floors and arrange for installation which was simply not an option for me. On top of this, in one of the rooms they installed the floors in a different direction as to what I asked for. When I called V, he said the installers thought that would look better ... The direction of the floor did not make sense at all and most importantly, there were no discussion with me that they will lay it differently than what I requested for. It was however corrected. They were 3 days late from the initial deadline set which meant I had to move in and deal with the noise and dust for the first few days which I was not happy about. I would like to note that the contractors were all pleasant, worked hard and did a good job. But it is also important to note that there were at least 6 contractors (demolition, leveling, floor installers) + V going in and out that had keys to my place so you need to be aware of that. (keys going around the contractors) Quality of work - 4/5 Customer service - 2/5 Communication during project - 2/5 Deadline - 2/5 Pricing - 3/5 Although the floors are beautiful, my overall experience was rather disappointing.

Transition pieces were not properly glued down, baseboard nails were not set flush, and the caulking was poorly done--problems that are still visible today. I lived with these issues for years because fixing them once was not enough and I did not want to deal with the issue again. The manager at the time did offer me a partial refund so I didn't ask for a 2nd fix. In hindsight I should have. Recently, I re-engaged Jordans because I need to redo my flooring. Engaging with the current store manager I was told in person that we would be "taken care of" and "hooked up" because of the 2017 experience. What followed was a 10¢/sqft price reduction (about $55 total). When I raised this marginal discount, the alternative offered was removing recommended services of leveling and voiding warranty. This process wasted significant time and did not rebuild confidence with Jordan's. We chose another contractor.

The flooring had major flaws causing wasted production time and a rejection of more than half the shipment. On June 12th we purchased 2500 square feet of jatoba flooring. The flooring was a custom colour and had to be manufactured after we paid the full amount. Our professional flooring installer came August 31st to lay down the floor for the 2nd floor starting in the master bedroom and hallway. He proceeded to lay down the floor and found numerous defects in the wood finish. In addition, he found multiple boards where the factory cut ends were not square. Cuts were often 1/8 inch off over seven inches. The installer had never seen any shipment of flooring with more than a 5% rejection rate. The rejection rate here was in the range of almost 90%. you might get one or two boards out of the whole box The saleswomen at (ESF) was called at this point. she sent an inspector to see all the defect and agreed that the wood never should have been shipped. He advised that we try to finish the 2nd floor with the flooring meant for three floors, and any extra time our installer had to spend would be compensated directly by ESF. they informed us, our contractor, and our installer he would send a new shipment to replace all the deficient material. We had to spend approximately two days of our time opening boxes in search of flooring without defects including have to use a square to check every board end. When the 2nd floor was done we also noted that the floor boards often did not have the same height, a problem caused by the tongue and grooves not being manufactured consistently. Given the high rejection rate of the first shipment we let them know that we would need around 1000 to 1500 square feet more flooring to ensure we had enough to complete the main floor. when we called back the store we just got no answer and they refused to help us at all and since we opened all the boxes to finish 800 sqft they wouldn't return anything that has been open and every time we call they reply by FU*K OFF and go to court currently we are pursuing legal help to sue them i don't recommend you to buy anything from this store
