Please get everything in writing before you get any work done…read more I was told I needed two crowns and was assured by the office that my dual insurance would cover them. After the work was completed, I was billed $650 -- only to find out the pre-authorization for coverage had actually been denied months earlier. Northstar submitted it, never told me about the denial, and then resubmitted the same paperwork multiple times after the work was done. Each time, it was denied again. When I called to question it, the office refused to take responsibility, saying they "can't manage every dual-insurance situation." Their only solution was to offer to transfer my records elsewhere. Please learn from my experience -- always double-check with your insurance company directly and get everything in writing before agreeing to any treatment here. This is a "puppy mill" for dentistry; you are in and out for a cleaning in 15 mins. You are a number here. Please know they pay you with gift cards to write a good review.

My son has been a patient for the last few years (he has perfect teeth and has only had cleanings…read moreevery 6 months). This practice is professionally managed, has excellent dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff. They listen, are attentive and my son is NOT afraid to go to the dentist, thank goodness. With that said, it DOES take 6 months to get your initial cleaning appointment, so they are not a last minute, broke my tooth on the weekend dentist unless you are an established patient. If you make an initial appointment, keep it. You won't get a cancellation or another appointment for 6 months. When you have a cleaning, schedule your next one before leaving the appointment or you won't get one until 6 months after you call to schedule your next appointment. They aren't open every day of the week, either. If you can handle all of this - schedule with them, they are worth it.
