He booked us in cottage 32 with an amazing view of the lake and a front and back patio. The back patio faces Harpoon Eddie's and both nights we sat on the balcony and listened to the bands play. The cottage was extremely clean and provided clean linens and towels. This two bedroom, one bath, full kitchen, and living room area were perfect! We were about 20 feet from the beach and enjoyed all of the picnic tables and lounge chairs provided by the cottage. There are also grills available if you would like to pickup groceries from the store down the road and enjoy a cookout. We will definitely be back again! I highly recommend this place if you're in the area and want a beautiful beachfront view!

Oddly the meat was falling off the bone but the meat was still tough. The meatloaf was horrible, worst meal I have had in years. The waitress was wise enough to not ask how the meal was. She did not inquire why I didn't want a box for my uneaten meal. The greens that came with the meatloaf were undercooked. The masked potatoes were delicious. My conclusion is that the food is inconsistent and the failure of the waitress to ask how things were or anything reflects that she has wisely learned not to ask. Again, she was great.

We were traveling for work and our rate was very affordable as a result. The staff was nice and helpful when we had questions.

The lobby is nicely decorated and has some seating. The hotel is two levels, but there is no elevator so request a room on the lower level if you have mobility concerns. The room was pretty sparse but clean as I mentioned before. A small tv, microwave and fridge were provided. The bedding could be better. Instead of a warm comforter, there's little more than a thin blanket given to sleep with. There's an extra blanket in the dresser if needed. Our room faced the back of the property which was quiet. Our friend's room faced the parking lot and they could hear people drinking and talking outside until 3AM. The continental breakfast provided is good enough if you need a quick morning bite. Though if you want a full breakfast, go to the Center St diner, about a 5 min drive from the hotel. They don't have online booking so you have to call up and relay all of your information over the phone to book. They take a one night deposit at the time of booking. The onsite restaurant called Boondocks is pretty large and had some good food. Your room comes with a free drink token for Boondocks. They are open until 12AM. Overall, this was a decent stay in the town. I believe it may be the only hotel around.

The studios that we stayed in were clean and spacious. Overall, the hotel and premises were very clean. The front desk folks were super friendly. Also, there was a daily complimentary hot breakfast served from 6:30 - 9:30 AM Mon-Fri and 7 - 10 AM on Sat-Sun. Some complimentary breakfasts tend to be quite sad, but NOT THIS ONE. For the hot foods there were scrambled eggs, omelettes, sausage links, bacon strips, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches (YES, you read that right) and French toast sticks. There was also quite a variety of pre-packaged cereal, yogurts, milk/chocolate milk, pre-packaged banana and blueberry muffins and juice. Honestly, this was probably one of the best complimentary hotel breakfasts I've had! If I had to create an ideal budget hotel with a complimentary breakfast, this hotel would be it. I asked for maintenance to address my tv, that was two days ago. Every time I call, it's like I called for the first time. I don't believe they're going to send anyone. They also lock the doors nearest my room so I have to walk all the way to the lobby only to walk all the way back to my room. It's not very convenient but at least I'm getting my steps in. I won't come back to this hotel. I would go elsewhere if I were you.
